Stayed during hurricanes here in Florida. Overall it’s a nice place. Limited on the restaurant being open so didn’t get to try it but heard good things. The Dog charge per stay is a bit expensive but overall it was a good stay.

The staff was so helpful on day and night shifts. The room and hotel in general were fabulous. The staff was constantly cleaning floors, windows and the parking lot was well lit and secure.

The hotel is nice and i appreciate that they are trying to think outside of the box but they try to upcharge a lot. Paying to park when there is no safer area. Anyone can park n e where. I could be wrong but i was one of few vehicles w a "pass" If you dont, you have to park across the street in a dirt field. That irked me. The rooms are very small with no desk space. This is a leisuire hotel. I recommend finding a different hotel if your on a business trip.

It was perfect. Very comfortable and clean. Kind of rustic and modern together. Very cool atmosphere. Loved it!

This is our GoTo spot when we have to evacuate during hurricanes. As always the hotel and its staff out performed. The are very accommodating and go out of their way to make sure everyone is comfortable and their needs are met during their stay. The property is clean, updated and very comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel

This is a lovely boutique hotel close to the airport. My only complaint is I asked for a room with no fragrances because of asthma and there was definitely some kind of air freshener or spray used which is very irritating to the respiratory system.

Our stay was excellent, the staff was courteous and friendly. The breakfast was very good, and there were attendants who refilled the food and drinks and helped me. The room was vey clean.

New computer system made for a difficult check in at 4 am. So tired, and had to wait so long. Staff helping with breakfast; great. Set up at front desk is just so uncomfortable and front desk agents are not on the same page. Really confusing stay.

My wasn’t anything to rave about. First of all, the floor I was on was very noisy. People slamming doors and yelling in the hall. Second, I had an incident with a person in the hall. There was a man who was wondering the hotels hallway and tried to enter my room. He pounded on the door. I immediately called the front desk to report the Incident. When I was checking out I brought up the incident and I am still waiting for someone from corporate to contact me.

The bed was comfortable and the hotel was super clean. Felt very safe there. It would be a hotel i coustay at again.

I arrived in a heavy tropical rain storm an hour early. My room wasn’t ready but the customer service person told me they would prioritize the room cleaning to get me in as as soon as possible. I was ignored. The customer service person ignored me after that and gave no eye contact or reassurance while I waited. I was charged $4.00 for a cup of coffee and didn’t get into my room until 30 minutes after check-in. The Manager arrived and showed no concern for me until while I was finally being checked in, I spoke to her and asked if it is usual to have to wait 30 minutes for a room reservation. (I had been waiting 1 1/2 hours as I arrived early due to heavy rain). Only after that did I request a refund for my coffee. I was offered a bottle of wine which was not really apologizing or acknowledging the lack of customer service. I refused the wine and said a refund of my coffee would be nice. Wouldn’t you think that any Front Desk Clerk or Manager would want to show a gesture of concern, apology at the very least while the situation was unfolding? No apology whatsoever. Then when I realized I had left my umbrella I approached the same Front Desk Clerk who showed no concern that my umbrella was gone and did not even attempt to find out it it had been turned in by anyone and pointed to a container bin by their back door and directed me to look for it. This is not a staff that shows interest in the well being of the guest but nickel and dimes them and feels entitled.

Hotel is very clean, modern looking, with full bar, free breakfast n restaurant all under one roof. Found it very helpful during our stay when Hurricane Helene hit FL. We was stuck inside for a day. Had breakfast, some drinks and dinner buffet without having to leave the hotel during the storm. Staff was very nice. Bed was comfortable

This was a really enjoyable stay for me. All of the staff were great, the breakfast options are reasonable, and the bartender Devin is amazing (she's made some great cocktail mixes available when the bar is open). The format of the rooms are a little unusual with the shower/toilet/sink placement but it still looks really nice and everything was super clean. The pool and hot tub areas are nice and relaxing. There's even some game things that can be played for groups or those with kids (ping pong and corn hole toss). The hotel is closeby the airport, the Ringling museums (yes, those Ringlings), the downtown area and the beach are not far away, and there are many options for great places to eat nearby. The only time I had an issue was trying to get my very old laptop onto the wifi and thats only because it would not go to the correct website to sign in and the lady at the front desk was not aware of the address for the login since it was supposed to be automated. Other than that, everything was smooth from check-in to check-out.

Lovely hotel for a great price. Absolutely loved the staff! Everyone was very welcoming and friendly. This place feel like it would cost more. Will definitely recommend to others.

Kompose Hotel and Boutique is our new favorite retreat. Christian helped us during our stay he was very informative. Perfectly positioned near beaches and eateries. Sleek and stylish design. Pool, hot tub, and top-notch gym equipment. Rooms are spotless, roomy, and comfy. We'll return!

There’s no privacy in a king suite. The bathroom and shower were both terrible. The design was overly minimalist and not functional. This is definitely stay when you’re not wanting to spend much time in the room.

Everything to my expectations.

I liked that it was near the Ringling Mueseum and was near the downtown district. The hotel was very artsy. That was the draw to the hotel. The staff was very pleasant.

I will only stay at Kompose from now on while I’m in Sarasota. This was the best find!!
