Great place to stay! Very friendly staff! Me and my daughter stayed in a room with a kitchen and we loved it! We will DEFINATELY stay here again on our future trips back to Jersey!

Out of different motels in the area you can’t find better than this one. Perfect distance to the boardwalk, room is like a small studio apartment. I will be staying here again.

Rental came with a kitchen, but no pots, pans, dishes, silverware and or glasses.

The office was closed when we got there. I did get an email prior to arrival telling room number and such. It was called "contactless check in". Nobody was there the entire time we were there. The building is rundown, carpet on floor was stained, the room was clean but old and worn. Clock on wall did not work. 1 regular and 1 decaf coffee pod in the room. Webpage claimed the Motel was 1 min walk to the boardwalk. It was more like 3-4 blocks away. Stayed on second floor, no elevator. Lighting in the room was low due to poor lamps. Did it once, wont do it again.

Liked nothing. It was a very small bedroom with droopy bed. Bathroom had tissue holder and towel holder broken. TV was in front of smelly sofa. No way of hanging clothes. Staff member tried to help us by providing clothes drying rack. We couldn’t sleep whole night and left next morning. Horrible experience.

The property is very clean and has nice appliances. Was pleasantly surprised!

Well. I don’t usually write reviews but I thought I’d better write one for this Motel. First of all it was clean and in a convenient location. It was a kitchenette without anything to cook with. Not even cups or silverware. No windows whatsoever. No balcony like the description said. There wasn’t a blanket on the bed at all. Luckily I brought a comforter and pillows. We had to use the trash can as a nightstand. We made the best of it. But I would definitely not stay there for more than two nights.

A true motel through and through. Yuck.

I was a little skeptic about the cleanliness

There’s no way that this place should be still open. This place is disgusting to say the least. We had no choice but to ditch the place and find another place. Do not go there!! Expedia should be ashamed of themselves for jacking up the price like they did for this horrible place

Overall the stay was easy and no hassle. The rooms/property are pretty dated but check-in/check-out was simple. Close to boardwalk

Old tired and sketchy

Rent to Adults over 21 years of age to prevent rooms being broken up. Wished the Suite Pots and Pans and Plates were in the room when I checked in on the Twentieth of August. Had to ask several times for pot and pans for cooking meals.

The property was clean! Manager responded back quickly with a text and call when I encountered a problem while on vacation. The air conditioner was a little loud but I was able to sleep through it lol. Will stay again! Thank you!

The Thunderbird motel is very convenient to the Seaside Heights boardwalk. Just a couple of blocks away. The staff at the Thunderbird was very friendly, helpful and addressed any issues at any and all times. If you want a decent and convenient stay near the beginning end of one side of the boardwalk, this is the place to go to.

It was clean. No sand on the floors. The fridge and was small but good for 1 night. The bed was comfortable but older.

Property was a bit dated, but price and photos reflect that. Our room was clean, and bed was super comfortable and just what we needed. Location was great.

I'm currently here with my family (3 kids and husband). The owner was very accommodating. We arrived early and he let us park so we could take the kids to the beach until our room was ready. Everyone has been very friendly. The room is on the small side but has everything we need. It is clean. I reserved a suite with 2 rooms. 1 room has an air conditioner but the other one stays hot. Aside from that, we are happy with the location and will rent from this family again.

Simple, clean, quiet, but not charming. The balcony looks over the road and there's quite a lot of construction going on. The area is a little ugly, but not unexpectedly so. Our suite was spotless, and the AC worked like a charm. The Having a fridge and mini-kitchen was great, but be prepared that there are no supplies: no cups, for example. Customer service was excellent; when there were no parking spots available, a staff member called me back immediately to figure out what to do.

Rooms were old, but very clean would stay there again surrounding area a little rundown but the stay was great. Staff was very friendly.
