We thoroughly enjoyed our stay yet again. Staff ‘s hospitality, room layout, quiet ambiance… everything was excellent. If I were to make 2 small comments, 1) it would have been nice to have a hand-rail in the room’s restrooms (even for non-barrier-free rooms) and 2) assign fluent-Japanese speaking staff for in-room dining phone operator - it was a bit difficult to convey detailed requests on food; though the staff was very sincere and helpful.
But again, wonderful experience. Looking forward to our next stay.

We were thoroughly impressed with the hotel and especially the staff. They met and exceeded our every need. The room was the most technologically advanced we ever stayed in. It was also well furnished and very clean. We would highly recommend the Continental Yokohama Pier 8. As an added bonus our cruise ship docked at the hotel.

Loved this location. Roof top is added value. Advertised boat shuttle service which was my deciding factor in booking but service is closed for cherry blossom season. Would have been nice if web site had been updated to show as our granddaughter was a bit disappointed until we found another venue.

I would live here if I could! What a beautiful, light and airy space. Very roomy compared to other hotels I’ve stayed at in Japan. We had the Minato Mirai view (facing the giant Ferris wheel). The floor to ceiling windows opened wide with chest-high safety glass that did not hinder view or breeze! This was key as I spent much of my time in Japan being overly warm anytime I was indoors! Beautiful Japanese styling and tasteful, uncluttered decor made for a peaceful refuge. There is a 7-11 and large food court connected to the hotel, as well as lovely restaurants in the hotel and many more nearby. The staff was outstanding—so helpful, polite and definitely went over and above during each interaction! An exceptional hotel in every way!
