we just stayed to sleep over and it was very nice for the night. Beds were comfy, liked having a kitchen to make breakfast (grocery store right across the street!) and our kids rested well for the next full day on the road!

I would have liked th AC to be cooler than 74.

Room needs better controls over cleaning and amenities. This is a good neighborhood with lots of dining and shopping.

Great location, instant check-in, spacious bathroom (ADA), friendly staff. Nice morning breakfast, otherwise no food but good selection of snacks and drinks

I work construction and the week the heat index was over 100 the lady at the front desk had Gatorade waiting for us when we walked in . The rooms were nice , had several options for dinner close by and the price was hard to beat

The only thing I didn't like is that the sheets in the bed had a smell like they were dirty.

This is the second time staying here and it’s been great both times. The room and bathroom is always clean. The area has great amenities. The staff is always nice.

Clean and spacious room. Mine had a comfortable recliner and nice tv with with Direct TV. Full kitchenette with large fridge, microwave and two burner range. No utensils or pots or pans so bring some or buy some. Hivee and Dillons very short drive. Lots of dining, shopping and entertainment venues within a few minute drive. For the price one of the best places i have stayed.

The shower/bathtub faucet was broken and could only be turned on with difficulty and then could not be turned off. The room's telephone did not work.

This property is located in the heart of OP, everything I need is very close by. Excellent value and clean, comfortable, and friendly.

Bed bugs!! My husband was bitten 3 times! Multiple hairs in tub, blood on bathroom floor. Shower curtain was filthy!!

Was decent loved the full sized fridge for the weekend stay!

This was my wife’s and I third stay at My Place in Overland Park Kansas and we were both disappointed and will be looking for a new place to stay when we come to visit family again. Not to be over critical but big stains in the carpets we were on the third floor and someone was smoking in their room even though they tried to find out who was the problem they couldn’t find what room it was coming from walls could use some paint lobby had a peculiar smell like a bad cafeteria other then that we will be staying someplace else on our next visit.

Lots of amenities in the room, including full size fridge, microwave, sink, cooktop, and more. Clean and new. Great staff. Quiet and in a good location.

Rented it for the kitchenette, but it was useless because there were no supplies like dishes, silverware or cooking supplies.

Nice basic hotel. Our first room did not have clean sheets on one bed.

Convenient to our purposes and easy access to many eating locations.

Upon arrival to hotel room had trash in it and apparent food on counters, so I wiped down room area. When we took trash to front desk and told them about issue, they only said sorry, but did not offer another room. Did not have an option to go elsewhere as other hotels were already booked for the days we were staying, so we decided to just stay put. Then later in the week we requested a late checkout because we are rewards members of My Place hotels, which they adamantly declined, stating that they needed to get rooms cleaned before check in at 3pm, we stated that we checked in at 8:30pm and our room hadn't been cleaned, so why would requesting an hour later check out make a difference? The front desk clerk at the time stated that our name would be put on a list and we would not be allowed to stay there anymore. So due to these issues, do NOT recommend the My Place hotel at Overland Park, KS.

Everything was great staying here. No complaints.

Only thing I didn’t care for were the 12am text the day we were supposed to arrive & 7am text the day we were to check out. Sorry but those are way too early.

No exercise room but it has a kitchenette.

Thanks to the check in host, it was a seamless and easy check in at about 3pm on Wednesday the 12th. He was friendly and welcoming. However the lady working at the desk in the evening was very rude, and not welcoming at all and this is why the bad ratings for that. The room was cleanish, we found a used hair tie in the shower, one of the bed had crumbs between the mattress, and the coffee pot was used and dirty. After that, the day time attendant was friendly and supportive when we checked out. Lastly, in the evening, the tv came on but no signal. The lady running the desk was no help at all. She did ask though if I wanted a technician who could as she explained not offer any more help than she as to pushing the input button that was doing nothing, and my kids were getting out of the shower as I explained, and she then proceeded to ask me again and I again said no. As I’m familiar with how to hook up tvs and satellite, I simply looked behind it to ensure all things were connected, and all it was, was the direct tv box was unplugged from the wall. Would have been five star had the evening clerk not refused to let us in, it took another guest to open the door for us as she made us stand outside with my two kids and holding heavy luggage, and then was rude vs greeting us as we just wanted to go to our room and rest after a long day of driving and visiting family. The time was 11:04pm.
