Cool looking. I’ve aesthetics overall.
But cost for value for me personally was not worth the price

The staff were very accommodating. The room was extremely small with a tiny bathroom with no counter space. No mini refrigerator or microwave or restaurant on site. I should have read the amenities more closely and a the reviews. The location was excellent and the hotel’s decor and feel were also excellent. For the price, it would have been nice to have had a larger room and bathroom and mini fridge and microwave since there was not a restaurant on site. I will read more closely when I book my next trip. Again, the staff was great and so was the location and decor!

The front desk folks at Hammett’s are lovely. We made the same trip to Newport last fall and complained about the terrible water pressure in the showers, but nothing has changed. It’s difficult to rinse shampoo out of one’s hair, so a shower takes a long time. The rooms are very very small, but the location is perfect.

Fantastic room! Comfort, design, eco-friendly. Too bad they don't offer food for breakfast. Valet is very expensive though, could be included in the room cost.

The property is new and modern. Rooms are very small unless you are in a suite. No refrigerator available in the small room. Bed was comfy and location of the hotel was very convenient. The parking was unavailable due to the boat show and we had to park 10 min away. Very inconvenient due to the area being very busy and traffic was heavy. Front desk associate had 0 personality and was not helpful.

Had no idea that there was no bar, restaurant or breakfast. There was coffee in the morning. Rooms are nice but very small as well as the bathroom but if you are use to living on a boat it feels large! Location was excellent!

No assistance with luggage and the staff was not incredibly friendly, especially considering the type of hotel and the high rate.

Location is key! Liked that we were in the middle of everything. Except for a couple of problems in the room which I reported to front desk upon checking out, we didn’t mind the small room.

Perfect location! Beautiful waterfront spot in the heart of Newport. Comfortable room, great view, nice outdoor patio on the harbor. Convenient valet parking. Great staff! Room is compact but comfortable. Highly recommend!

Low fuss and highly convenient property. Small but clean and modern rooms. Perfect location with walkable access to shops and restaurants. Valet parking is pricey, but quick service. We always stay here!

Location was perfect, Staff courteous and friendly. Arlene welcomed us upon arrival. Carlos was absolutely wonderful. Extremely helpful and very accommodating! Bathroom was little tight. Surprised there wasn't a "safe" in the room! We'll definitely be back!

A very nice hotel BUT for $800 I was offered a tiny room with a view of the parking lot. We were told only 6 rooms have a harbor view (the kind in the ad) it seems even number rooms might have a partial rooms of the marina. Odd number rooms get the parking lot. Not worth the money. Disappointing

A little pricey for the amenities offered, which is a cup of coffee in the morning. Room was clean but very sparse. A bed and a bathroom.$45 per night to valet, which is your only option on premises.

My husband and I stayed for a weekend getaway to celebrate his 30th birthday (we also were in Newport for a wedding). The hotel was extremely clean and comfortable; it was also close to everything. We were able to walk everywhere and drive in and out with ease. The room was small, but well designed, which meant the size didn’t bother us. Our ONLY complaint was there was no mini fridge in the room.

This is the only place we will stay when traveling to Newport. The staff id beyond friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and modern.

I stayed only one night, so my experience is limited. That said, this hotel experience was great. The property is located in between Thames St and the Newport marina, so it cannot be better placed. Room was big enough, clean, good bathrooms and overall good service and friendly staff. Not cheap, but worth the money.
