Another good stay at LBJ and would have been 5 stars, but the cleaner dropped the ball in the bathroom. Great sized room & pretty good location - I'd be happy to stay here again.

This was our second time staying at Lake LBJ Inn and we will be back! I can't speak highly enough about the owner--genuinely friendly, helpful, patient, and accommodating.The rooms are updated, well-appointed, spacious, comfortable, and extremely clean. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Stay was not good. No water the first night and woke up to a flooded room. No clean towels or room service.

A friend and I recently decided to stay at the Lake LBJ Inn over Memorial Day Weekend and enjoyed our experience. We will definitely come back! We were part of a larger group staying in a home near the lake - a 2.5 minute walk away. Every interaction with the owners and staff were pleasant and we loved our space - more room than I was expecting! It was VERY clean and quiet, even though you're near a main road. We wanted to give the room's AC unit a special shout out because it did a great job of keeping our space cool and dry. All around, it was a great experience and one I look forward to doing again!

The staff member who checked us in was very friendly. The pool was kept nicely. It's a small motel on the highway but it's very quiet. When we checked in, we were told it's an older motel so it takes a while for the hot water to reach the room. The bath towels were thin and course. The bed was very firm and the pillows were thin. I would recommend bringing your own pillows. Our stay was nice and the location was convenient with several close by dining options.

Though it's been remodeled there was much more that needs to be done. The shower was a walk-in with only a curtain that didn't keep any water in the shower area but into the bathroom and into the bedroom. The bathroom light switch controls the exhaust fan too so we keep the bathroom light on for safety so the fan ran all night too. The A/C cooled well but in order the cool the whole room you had to have if full blast which then froze the Occupants closest to the unit. There was no TV channel guide. There were a couple of roaches keeping us company too. Ugh! For some reason the bed sheets felt damp as well as the towels so i don't know if it was because of humidity or they weren't fully dried before being put out for use. Finally the floor is in need of a good mopping. Had to keep shoes on so you wouldn't drag dirt into the beds.

The Lake LBJ Hotel was clean, the bed was comfortable and I had everything I needed. It was an excellent value.

We were only there for 1 day. The checkin and checkout were friendly, smooth and efficient. The bed was comfortable, room was clean, AC worked great and we appreciated the coffee maker in the room with both regular and decaf coffee options. It was also nice to have many charging options conveniently located on the nightstand. Thank you

Every human was amazing! The pool was broken, the cable was broken, so those were let downs since we wanted to escape. The people made it worth it.

Great location; great price; worth the stay.

The room was very clean and had all of the amenities. After a 4 hour drive with 3 kids, we were tired and an hour early before check-in. Luckily, the owner was kind enough to allow us to check in anyway! Will definitely be my go to spot when coming back to visit family.

This was our second time to stay and we enjoyed it yet again. It took a while for the water to get hot but that’s the only negative we can list.

We were greeted warmly by a very nice proprietor. The room smelled good as did the linens. However, there were cobwebs galore in the room. The bathtub was clean but because of constant use did not look clean. Some bathtub paint should help with that. The wifi password did not work, but the tv did. The beds were extremely hard but the linens were clean. It was very quiet at this motel and we felt safe.

Despite the room being very clean there were so many roaches. I’m from Houston and I’m very familiar with big red roaches… these were not tree roaches, these were the small ones which are not from being close to wilderness.

We come to Kingsland about twice a year to visit. This is a quick and easy for a place to sleep.

The staff was lovely, the place is obviously loved and well cared for. I had some of the best sleep of my life. In all honestly though, I did find a small roach (no different than most other places in the hill country) and there were some cobwebs in those hard to reach places like behind the fridge and in the corners of the bathroom (no different than my own home). I would stay there again in a heartbeat, though!

My stay at Lake LBJ Inn was excellent. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The room was very clean and the renovations that have been made show that they care about the quality of stay a guest has at an affordable price. The location of the property gave easy access to the surrounding area, but also allowed for a quiet evening. I highly recommend Lake LBJ Inn for any stay in Kingsland.
