Motel is run by a very nice older lady. She was very pleasant and helpful. The motel was quite dated but was mantained. That being said there were ants in our room. It had been rainy for a few days before and seems like they migrated inside. Room did not have a coffee maker and I needed to level the refridgerator to allow the door to stay closed.

What a wonderful little gem. Beautiful clean, quiet rooms. Had to make an unexpected trip to the area and just needed a comfortable place to stay. The beds were amazing. Really enjoyed our stay. We will be staying again.

Beautiful place outdoor

The room had recently been redone. It was clean and had everything you would need. It is an older hotel but very comfortable to stay at. Motel staff was very friendly and i enjoyed our conversation. There is a good size pool that was nice and clean. I will def go back for the experience and the conversation

I’m struggling with how to write up this review. The motel is under renovations so as we pulled into the parking lot, it looked very rundown and there were construction supplies leaning up against the building here and there. The office for check in was cluttered. The nice lady doing check in couldn’t figure out how to use the cc machine and also wasn’t able to charge one night to me and one night to my sister so we had to reimburse the other on our own which was fine. Our room had been newly renovated so the inside was very clean. We could still small fresh paint but it wasn’t a strong smell. We had two comfy chairs and an ottoman which was a nice surprise, plenty of counter space, the refrigerator worked, the beds were clean and new. They were firm with a little give. The bathroom was clean. This motel supplied ample towels and 2 bars of soap along with some drinking cups. That’s it for toiletries fyi. The window in our room had two latches on it but only one actually locked. The entry door only had one lock that worked and that was the lock on the door handle. The deadbolt did not work so we slid a chair in front of the door at bedtime. We didn’t have any issues. The motel is located in a good spot. Plenty of restaurants and activities nearby. We would stay here again. For the price, it was a pleasant stay. The construction workers did not work on the weekend and were done during the week by bedtime. Most of our issues were cosmetic which seems to be a work in progress.

The staff was really nice.

We were in room 16 which was recently refurbished. Everything was in new condition. Perfect for a 1 night stay where you don't need all the amenities of a big resort.

The motel room was very nice and clean. I would recommend this motel to others to check it out. The cabin just outside my room was really cool too look at. Also found a sweet little plaque behind the cabin with a great saying on it.

We've stayed all over the Dells in the fancy water parks to other smaller hotels/motels and this one has been my favorite to date! I'm a VERY light sleeper and generally have a tough time sleeping when we travel but this place was QUITE! The bed was firm but not uncomfortable. It is an older place with it quirks but it's clean and didn't smell. They had daily room cleaning (hard to come by after COVID) and a microwave and fridge. The owner was very sweet to my 2 younger boys. There is also a small game room and outdoor pool that the kids enjoyed after our running around. I'll be staying again!

Nice helpful staff

It was old and outdated, way over priced for rooms that looked like you were in the 80's. I guess I understand why they are non refundable and gave me problems because once you get there you definitely want your money back, they're so pressed for money they had the nerve to sell ice. Wasn't satisfied at all!

This place has the worst customer service. I attempted to cancel five days before my scheduled visit. I was told that I would have to pay a change fee to change or cancel the reservation. As it is NOT listed in the Expedia listing anywhere. My card was charged one nights stay because we couldn’t go. I will now be creating a case with my credit card company. Absolutely poor customer service.

Every thing was fine.the room stayed cool and honestly i heard nothing from other guest.was quiet at nightand the place looked full.only beef no cable tv. to watch at night.

I don’t typically leave bad reviews, but it is warranted in this case. This was, hands down, the worst stay I’ve ever experienced anywhere. I can tolerate old & outdated, but not the stink. The musty, mildewy odor permeated everything-carpet, bedding, & everything we brought with us, so when we got home everything that could be laundered had to be. Our bags are still outside to air out. The bathroom facilities had been updated & looked decent, but there was a sewer gas smell that occasionally occurred. It was so bad during the night we had to open the window. We considered loading up & leaving right then, but I didn’t want to wake the kids & I wanted to talk to the property owner about it. Pretty sure she knew, because when we checked in, the window was open & a/c & fridge were unplugged even tho it was a hot muggy day. We should have known, because there was a sign behind the check-in desk that stated no refunds after check-in, so I’m guessing they’ve had that request often. We did actually look for somewhere else to stay but availability in the Dells in summer without prior reservations are difficult to come by. The one redeeming quality was the outdoor pool, which was decent & we used a lot because nobody wanted to be in the room because of the smell.

The pool was not heated. The tv reception was not good.

Property is old but nice. If they went to a wood floor in the units that could help with odor. Owner is nice and helped with how the booking went.

Owner was very kind. Mattresses were u comfortable.

Close, simple, convenient.....reasonable!! No screens on windows or locks!! Coffee served in lobby but not till 8....coffee pit in room would be nice. Pool looked great.....

The hotel seems family run, definitely not a chain. The furnishings were out of date, but everything was clean. There were no complimentary shower items and the towels were definitely small and rough. Service was friendly and kind. Ready to give recommendations and made coffee in the morning!

The location is obviously nice its right in the heart of the attractions. But the inside of the room was old very shag and smelled of water mildew. The bathroom is decent but the beds are outdated and everything seems very 70’s .

It's a mediocre place to stay. It's a little family-owned/run place. The lady that runs the place is a sweet little grandma-type person and very helpful. Everything is done on paper there so be prepared. Pets are allowed here, I don't know if that's an extra cost or not. Free parking. A window air conditioner and a small refrigerator. Bring some FaBreeze, the 70s didn't leave here. The room was a bit musty. We had a queen bed room, so that's what I know about the sleeping area. Be prepared to stay at least 2 days on a weekend which is F-Su or they'll turn you down if in person. The walls are thin, so don't get too vigorous with anything. 😉 The pool is between 3 and 5 ft deep so if you had kids, it's good. There's a play area with equipment/swings, etc. to let them have some fun. There's a game room off of the office with a pool table and a few other things. The owner was really nice and introduced me to her kitty. He was beautiful and she was adorable. It's just a motel with a great jumping-off spot for the local amenities.
