We were lucky enough to stay at the Grand Hotel Tremezzo for a night following a 2 week trip driving around Italy with our family, which included a 4-year-old. They happened to open early for the season this year and we completely fell in love with the place. While the setting is legendary and beautiful, it's the staff that makes it a 5-star experience. They're wonderful and kind and patient and incredibly good humored. And while I don't consider all 5-star hotels to be family friendly, this one absolutely was. Between constant presents and treats and a candy bar and an indoor pool for the chillier weather, my daughter loved it. We only had a chance to eat at a couple of the restaurants (lunch by the water and dinner at the more casual location), but honestly the most magical experience was breakfast. I think we all audibly gasped when we walked into the gorgeous room that really took the buffet experience to another level. I assure you we'll be back, but next time for at least a week!

- Sound proof in bedroom is very poor, you can hear every car passing from the street to other rooms closing or opening their electric curtains
- Size is small compare to other top tier hotels in Como

This hotel reminded me of luxurious stays in Hotel de Paris and St Regis but even more fragrant lobby and hotel grounds . The fresh flowers and attention to detail was simply amazing.

A beautiful hotel . Expensive . Very noisy . We stayed in a corner room 320. DONT ask for a roadside room . The bins woke us up most mornings before dawn . The road is very busy. Be prepared if you’re a lite sleeper ! Delicious breakfast . Great service . Food uninspiring (except breakfast). No in room tea/coffee facilities. No ability to borrow an iron and ironing board . They only offer a pressing service which is annoying .

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in! The staff were impeccable; they were eager to assist with everything and made my stay incredible. Not only is the hotel gorgeous, but the views from every point are breathtaking. The lake is unbelievable, but the hotel gardens are an even match! I would only stay here when I return to Lake Como, hopefully sooner than later!

My stay at the Grand Hotel Tremezzo was probably one of the most luxurious stays I've ever had at a hotel. The level of class and professionalism from the staff is second to none. The location of the hotel is prime. The food is incredible. The amenities are world class. If you are staying in Lake Como, look no further than the Grand Hotel Tremezzo.

Súper hotel. You don’t even need to leave the place. There is plenty of things to do. Sos, tennis court, two pool, panoramic views. The restaurants are ok, nothing special though; for this kind of hotel I was expecting so much more regarding the food.The rooms are big and specious and the bathroom amazing.

Everything was perfect. A dream place I even was sad to leave but I only have one complain, the valet parking damage a Louis Vuitton baggage and they didn’t say anything, I found out once I was somewhere else. I send a message and im still waiting for a answer to see how to work it out.
As for the hotel I would definitely recommend and of course will be coming back because it’s amazing. Just hope I can solve my problem.
