Hallways smelled on the 2nd floor. I could hear the people in the room next to me. Bed was uncomfortable and the pillows were awful.

The hotel was nice and clean. We got the double queen bed room and it was a very big room. Felt like a home away from home.

The staff was friendly and helpful! Next to the freeway with construction made some rooms noisy. Some of the pots and pans were worn and could use replacements. The shower curtains could be longer to keep the shower water in the tub. The pullout bed was slightly better than sleeping on the floor. Overall, good. Would stay there again.

The staff at the hotel were all incredibly kind and helpful! The room was clean and comfortable with everything we needed to cook meals. Will stay here on our next trip to San Antonio!

Great room, a lot of traffic noise. The ice maker in freezer did not work. We did not need a whole lot of ice anyway. Overall a really good room.

My SO could not drive back to the Dallas area on Monday night due to the bitter freeze, so we booked an additional night at Candlewood. The service was excellent! The room was clean! We’ve stayed here before and it never fails to satisfy us.

Booked the room, got there, they had no rooms. They do not update their system nor care to, they are not helpful at all when it is their mistake.

Had signs stating cars were not safe there. Website were I secured the rooms said they served breakfast - they did not. We had to buy food there at more than twice the rate of a restaurant.

Great place to stay while visiting family. Had small issues while there. No towels in our bathroom and found a single shoe in closet in our room. Other then that is was a good stay.

Unclean room. Every surface was dirty. Dishes were dirty in dishwasher, we were not able to use the kitchen area as it was all dirty.

When we checked in to our first room the smell was AWFUL. I complained to the front desk staff and they moved us but the second room did not smell very good either. We bought febreeze and that helped a little. We also were not told that they were an extended stay as it is not advertised anywhere so housekeeping doesn't come if you arent staying more than 7 days due to them being an extended stay. Overall we were not happy with the stay and probably wont stay there again.

The hotel had a strong oder of smoke as we walked into the lobby. Then our room also had the smoke oder. When we showed water ran all into the bathroom. We had to use the towels to dry the floor. The bed was comfortable.

The room next to us decides to entertain us at all hours of the night by fighting and cursing. We had a wonderful rendition of "I'm tired of you gaslighting me." To a 3am verion of "I'm so tired of you."

Floor of the room was filthy and there was old food on the floor. No cell service. The phone in the room didn’t work. There was no remote for the tv. I felt unsafe at the property and left in less than 2 hours and drove down the road to another hotel. Do NOT stay at this Candlewood.

Pool was dirty/ bathtub was extremely filthy..had to clean it ourselves, food crumbs left in the room, AC not working, rooms had a bad smell-musty, sheets were dull looking..
very disappointing for the price...would NOT recommend to anyone or stay there again..very gross

The Suite was so nice We loved the kitchenette area, my husband and I were able to fix breakfast without having to buy it.
We had a small incident in the first room we had and they didn't hesitate to give us with another room. They apologized for the inconvenience .
Overall , everything was nice and the staff was very helpful.
I am going to stay there again when I go back to Sann Antonio, TX.

The first room we went to wasn't cleaned out, the second room had missing furniture. The front staff was rude and showed no concern. The pool water was dirty and the area around the pool, there was dog poop everywhere. I felt unsafe
