Older hotel but very well maintained and charming. Bathroom appeared to be recently renovated. Would definitely stay here again.

This hotel was great. We had great services, great view, the cleanliness was really good considering the sand of beach aroung the place. Cet endroit était vraiment très bien.

Would have liked an additional safety feature on the hotel room door. Only a deadbolt opened by actual keys and we observed 3 keys on a hallway sitting out which concerned us.Great staff at check-in and convenient location.

Although there are 5 pools among the Lafayette group's properties, our OH pool was green and under repair, and the Waves pool had to be shocked multiple times a day due to kids. New shower curtain and comfortable bed are about the best things I can say for this property.

Let me start by saying that this hotel is owned by a group that owns two other properties here, one of them being Waves. Normally that is where I stay because I usually have 3 other family members that join, but this year it was just me & my youngest so I decided to get a smaller room. Not again They don't tell you if you are being put in the hotel or motel. I had no idea it was separate. First, I had booked a room with a kitchenette, they put me in the wrong room & had to move me. In the first room the floors were DIRTY dirty & the shower barely worked. In the second room the floor was also super dirty, & i couldn't get the shower to work. 4 people came to look at it and couldn't figure it out because they are kids. The next day I mentioned it again to a staff supervisor who was really nice but also a kid & asked if I had called the front desk at 930p the previous night to report it lol. Finally the master plumber came & in 2 seconds figured out that the knob was put on backwards. My room had no curtains, just blinds. The people staying at this property sucked. They literally all were smoking weed, which isnt a huge deal except for when youre trying to sit outside with your kid in the sitting area, which is just chairs outside of each room. The beach is 2 seconds away, take a walk. The coffee pods dont match the coffee maker which isnt a huge deal except when there are other issues then it's like this TOO?! Staff is friendly

Our room in the motel section was spacious, moden and very clean. Right by the beach, so a really short walk. Nice pool area too! Also included Keurig machine, toaster, microwave and small fridge with a freezer. I would definitely return!

Not enough parking. Noisy toilet. TV had no guide. Microwave very loud. Phone did not work. Internet did not work most of the times.

I loved that it was beautifully updated at the Ocean house as well as the layour of the house.

This is a beautifully restored and updated property right on the ocean. The room was small but comfortable and clean. The lobby and sitting rooms on the ground level are gorgeous.

Parking not great , house area for rooms was beautiful and clean, other resort property not as nice. Check in not convenient and no elevator. Nicely renovated and decorated rooms and house setting

Love love love the property! I wish the room did have a dresser for storage long your belongings but overall loved the place , will stay here again.

Great location, beautiful room . Blinds didn’t even come close to blocking out the morning sun. Train run all hours of the night ( not hotels fault ) and blow their horns because they are in town .

Rooms were not clean. We found a balloon and beer can in our room.

Great place for a solo traveler. Very close to Amtrak. Easy access to beach, several pools, and fitness room. Helpful staff and clean room.

Nice property. My only complaint is the 5:15 am wake-up call from the train every morning but that’s something to expect no matter where you stay in OOB.

They were so organized. Very polite and so well prepared.

This property was nicely updated & a nice walk to the pier, but just far enough away you couldn’t hear all the noise. Very cute & quaint rooms. We enjoyed being able to visit multiple of the neighboring pools as well. Right on the beach! Would definitely come back.

The ocean house is beautiful Our room was decorated with taste It was a small room but was very functional. The location was impeccable. We were very pleased with our choice to stay at this hotel establishment. Thank you

Beds were hard, springs in your back. Very dated.

Dated bathroom, not much parking by rooms.

Rooms were dated but very nice and clean. The area has so many options in dining and other things to do. The carnival area is a nice touch especially if you have children. The beach was just a few steps from our hotel room.

The room is old - nothing like the one in the website. There was no instruction where that we can check in.

They messed up my original booking, and stuck me in an awful room. The doors aren't secure, they are key & lock with no indoor secondary lock (like a deadbolt.) The room was next to an sctive train and it shook the whole room at 12am and 5am (we were not warned about this.) The other guest were outside til 2am loud and drinking. The wifi wasn't reliable. There was a switch next to the light switch that turned the TV and all outlets off, so if i accidentally hit it, everything turns off. The room was one small room, liken to a nyc apartment. I paid $300 for said room. They would not reimburse me even though we left a night early. This was the west grand st building. Great location, awful room.

It was brand new when we checked in. Beautiful renovation and nicely decorated. We’ll be back!

Loved it! Great place to stay if you want to be in walking distance to everything

Old building, so locks on doors are interesting ie. Bathroom had no lock, main door lock took some getting use to. But everything worked, and it was cozy and quaint. Plenty of parking across the road. Beach access is right out back and its a quieter section and very nice.

Location and staff were awesome! We will definitely be back. My only bit of feedback is that the couch in the living room should really be replaced.

The hotel was beautiful, all updated. Our room was clean and comfortable not like i thought it would be. I was expecting it to be on the backside of hotel, closer to the beach and pool and bigger. Next time, hoping to stay ocean front and use the pool and beautiful porch.

Nice location, room decent but floors were dirty and sandy. Beach is filled with red stuff, not sure of that's a red type of kelp but its everywhere. Gym was a couple of blocks away, not on site. Bed was very comfortable.
