We loved our stay at Hillsboro by Sonder. Views of the ocean from two sides of the living room, a balcony, and two full bathrooms were a plus. The place was very clean. Relatives came to visit and there was plenty of room for the six of us to play some board games and enjoy the spectacular views. The pool looked nice too but it was very windy during our stay and we didn’t swim.

The view and the beach were amazing. The service was exceptional and the rooms were very modern, clean, and comfortable. The only downside is no self-park and having to pay for valet.

Valet was absolutely terrible. Room was disgusting and had not been cleaned except for sheet change. 2 star hotel at best

The facilities were very nice. We had an issue with the fire alarms, but they were resolved. Not great if you don't have a car as not much close by in regards to food and shopping. While aware that they only have valet parking, it is expensive. Attached restaurant was WAY overpriced (especially the alcohol) and not very good. Plan on paying $15 per beach chair per day and $15 for umbrella per day. Room was awesome and staff was very helpful.

Extremely expensive for regular coffee everything have a cost beach chairs , extra cost for cleaning , parking, and nothing near by, you absolutely need a car to go around but the worst are the bed bugs

My partner and stayed here for our first ever trip to Miami and it was lovely!! My only recommendation would be to have more towels in the room☺️☺️☺️

Good location and right on the beach. However , I did not like the hotel and it's amenities. The room was very basic, the comforter was not properly cleaned and the room was very noisy, from the air conditioning unit to the guests in the other room who kept shouting loudly and also the door non-stop at all hours of the night. Worst place I've ever stayed at.

Beautiful location, however, a vending machine for drinks and snacks would be useful as most things are not walking distance

The facilities were perfect the room was perfect for the size and the value you couldn't beat. Definitely would book another trip and stay there. The design of the rooms with the bathroom were beautiful. I would say the only drawback that I could see is that there is an additional expense for parking after arriving there I understand why this is the condition. Very limited on space and a lot of people with expensive cars. Definitely a valet service is necessary. Highly recommend to visit this place.

The staff at the resort are pretty good. Respectful and professional. The valet service was amazing! Especially the staff. They are extremely friendly. The bathroom tub did not drain water properly. As soon as you start to shower, the water starts accumulating. I tried to set up room service upon check in but did not have any available days even though my stay was for 5 days. Finally, there was horrible construction noise starting every day at 9am. I was on vacation and could not sleep in like I wanted. I even asked the front desk if I could have a late check out for my inconvenience which they denied even for 1 hour. I am very disappointed with my stay.

This property is great if you want to disconnect from the city and crowds. I will definitely come back the One bedroom suite is a must balcony that over looks the ocean perfect for morning sun rise.

Ocean view and private beach were amazing, lots of space in the apartment as well. Clean and quiet.

Excellent location and staff

To think I wanted to cancel and tried several times, I must say I am so glad I wasn’t able to cancel.First I will begin by saying this is my first time ever writing a review for any of my stays ever! The main thing I loved was how clean the room was, loved my view the space and the security. I traveled alone with my dog and stayed 7 wonderful days. I especially loved how everyone treated and loved my dog (she really is cute) lol and she is super well trained. I loved how she got the chefs special (grilled chicken no seasoning)at Ya mas restaurant right downstairs. The ocean view was breathtaking and so beautiful, I felt so much peace at my stay the pool was awesome. I definitely recommend anyone who is looking for a quick getaway to book at Sonder in Hillsboro beach. If there is one thing I would add is would be nice if the pool stayed opened a little later like until 10pm instead of 8pm otherwise my stay was perfect and exactly what I needed-thank you 😊

The property considering the price was ok. Other than the front desk person there are not any staff to interact with. On my second day I got a bunch of bumps all over my body. It looked like bed bugs bite. I asked the staff to move us to another room since my son still did not get any bites. I was going to take all our clothes to an industrial dryer to kill any bed bugs and spray our suitcases. We travel a lot and I have been in a hotel before where they found bed bugs and they took care of everything and offered to move us and reimburse for the stay. The front desk person at this hotel called the manager who was not on site and asked if we could be moved, and the manager said no because they didn’t want to contaminate another room. This was the second day of a 10 night stay. So they gave us this contaminated room and then would not move us. I decided to move to another hotel talking all the precautions to disinfect everything we had with us so we don’t take it to the second hotel. I asked to speak with manager at Sonders. She would not speak with me and said she would contact me the next day. Which would be too late. Either way she did not call. Additionally I asked to be refunded for then entire stay and only received reimbursement for the days we did not stay there. Terrible experience of a hotel that does not value its customers.

The staff was very friendly, the area was convenient, there was a little restaurant and right on the beach! They offered chairs and umbrellas and the rooms were very well maintained

We had the one bedroom ocean view and the room and view was amazing! It was clean, the bed was very comfortable and the view from our room and balcony was beautiful. The staff, especially the valets were friendly, helpful and overall awesome! Would recommend and stay here again!!

I stayed there for 10 days with my family. Everybody was showing a warm welcome to me and my family. I will go back again. The food in that restaurant was great, and Raymond (the cook) was excellent. Parking was easy and they took good care of us.
