Great hotel with a nice location. Recommended!

I would like to shout out to Tabatha who worked the front desk on the morning of Sunday, July 21. Our car would not start in the front of the hotel and she assisted us greatly! She had a portable charger to charge our dead battery and gave us her own personal jumper capable so we would be safe on our trip.

It was a good place to stay for a single person.

Not a great experience. I ended up in room 203 on the west side of the building. The hotel is at the corner of 9th and O streets, which doesn’t sound like an issue until you realize that’s the point where O Street turns into a four-lane overpass. Also, 9th Street is actually Highway 34, which connects the Interstate to downtown. So, be prepared for a steady stream of motorcycles, pickups, and semis roaring past your window. It was so loud I got up and checked the windows to see if they were open. Turns out they don’t open, they’re just poorly insulated against noise. The hotel itself seemed nice enough. It’s a newer building with clean rooms and a friendly staff, but unless you brought earplugs, you’re probably not getting much sleep. The traffic calmed down around 2 AM and picked up again at 6:00. At that point, I’d had enough and checked out.

Very clean and good breakfast. Convenient location.

Hard to figure out how to get in to check in to hotel. Parking garage on site they said was full. Had to go a block and a half away to park. Would not have been too bad, but it was raining. Had to carry our stuff in the rain. Once in the room , it was very comfortable and roomy, nice bathroom, nice selections of soaps.

Great hotel near UNL. Very quiet and clean. Decent breakfast and the staff were all friendly. Would definitely stay again.

Great hotel, right in the middle of plenty to do. They have earplugs in bowls when you check in, so be sure to take some. You hear EVERYTHING. The downtown is loud on weekends, so if you're not one of the people partying, make sure you get ear plugs.

The only drawback was the location next to a busy road. Seemed to be drag racing down the street.

The hotel is in a convenient location near the Haymarket area where there are many restaurants. We weren't expecting to pay for parking...that wasn't indicated on the website through which we made the reservations.

The Holiday Inn Express in the Haymarket area of Lincoln was clean and fresh. I stayed for 3 nights, and would definitely return. The room was a good size, and seemed to have been renovated somewhat recently (newer looking furniture, bathroom furnishings, etc.). Staff at the hotel was friendly and responsive. I used the valet parking and each time I needed my car, they had it ready for me in 5 minutes or less. It is an easy to walk to MANY restaurants and shops within a few blocks of the hotel. The only drawback was listening to police and firetruck sirens multiple times each night - the fire station is nearby. BUT - that's not unusual with a downtown hotel location. Drag racing on 9th St. and O St. is evidently a "thing" on Friday nights there - the motors were loud and continued until past midnight.

Wonderful stay. Fast friendly service, clean, well maintained. Fantastic breakfast and snack bar. Valet service was extremely helpful and efficient.

Stayed here for a concert at the Lied Center which was just a short 10 min walk from the motel. Staff super friendly and helpful. Parking is $20 for 1 nite. Quiet motel with comfortable beds . Breakfast was great with lots of choices for everyone. Easy to get to right off of I-80. If in area will be back!

Met friends and spent the day and evening in Hay Market. Went to the hotel and enjoyed a nice seating area on the main floor and visited. Got a good nights sleep in a comfortable room and enjoyed a delicious breakfast the next morning.
