Hotel was very clean and staff were helpful. The hotel was walking distance from the Peace museum and Peace museum ferry terminal for a ferry to Miyajima. Our room was spacious with comfy beds and a decent shower. Good pool, sauna and jacuzzi. Breakfast was OK, we didn’t have dinner there as we heard the buffet was chaotic. We found plenty of good options to eat in the local area.

The nicest hotel I stayed in while traveling Japan on vacation

We had a wonderful stay here. The rooms are very modern and large. There was a walk-in shower, a toilet with a lid that automatically opens when you walk in and the obligatory warm douche, as is customary on Japanese toilets. There was a draw containing wine glasses, tea options, and all the lights could be adjusted from the bedside. The TV was huge and you could easily login to your own Netflix account using a QR code. Phones could be charged from dedicated USB ports. The pool was free, there was a lovely hot tub available in the pool room and a sauna. Every attention to detail was covered. Plenty of restaurant choices and the service was second to none. A really lovely hotel for a family holiday.

This property is beautiful in the heart of Hiroshima. We stayed on the 21st floor in a room with a King bed and access to the Executive Lounge. The room was clean and decent size. The bed was comfortable with nice king size pillows. We enjoyed cocktail hour and breakfast in the lounge. There were varied offerings each day, but the real stars of the Executive Lounge is the the staff, especially Tomoka Furukawa who made a real effort to personalize not only our experience but for other guests as well. My one comment would be that perhaps there should be a later cocktail hour that is for adults (no children). We also went to the afternoon tea at Mozaik. Although it was attractively decorated, the food could have been better.

A very comfortable and spacious hotel with a large bedroom for Japan, exactly what you would expect for a Hilton at the higher end of their various hotel ranges. We loved Hiroshima overall and this was a perfect base for us to explore both Hiroshima and Miyajima. About a 15 to 20 minute easy walk to the museum and A-Bomb Dome memorial and to the nearby main shopping district. There is also a large multi-storey shopping mall with various restaurants and a huge supermarket just across the street from the hotel. Staff at hotel all very friendly and helpful. Indoor swimming pool smallish but very nice. Breakfast buffet was huge and high quality. We had the evening buffet once which was very nice and extensive, but don’t miss going into central Hiroshima to try the local signature dish, Okonomiyaki!

Good spaghetti dinner and the breakfast buffet was also good.

This hotel lives up to the high standard of the Hilton flag ship brand. The gym and pool facility are excellent. The rooms are large and spacious. The room lighting with various dimming options was a nice touch. Bedding is comfortable and the pillows ensure quality sleep. Cleaning is to a very high standard. I would stay here again!

The Hilton is a good hotel located close to shopping and a short walk from shin-takashima train station, 15 mins from Yokohama train station. It is spotlessly clean, and the staff are extremely helpful. The rooms are large by western standards, huge by Japanese standards. I want the toilet in my own home. It's the best one I've seen anywhere, and the shower was almost the highlight of my son's trip. He was sad to leave it. The lighting in the bathroom was fantastic. There are enough coat hangers and drawers, if you remove the random items that are placed in the drawers. There is a safe and a fridge. The beds are so comfortable, BUT - and this is what bring this hotel down from five stars to three - the beds smell strongly of stale sweat. My son and husband couldn't smell it as they don't have a good sense of smell, but I really could. Strongly. Every time I'd think, "Oh I'm making it up, it can't be that bad" I'd get a whiff of the bed and "Oh. Nope. It really is." I asked the front desk to change the pillow and quilt and either they didn't, or they did and all the quilts and pillows smell that bad. No laundry facilities on site. No laundromats nearby. About $50/day to have the hotel clean your clothes. The breakfast was an absolute highlight. We LOVED it, and would get excited each morning. All the staff were absolutely delightful. Overall, if you don't have a good sense of smell, an absolutely stellar hotel.
