Panama had a lot of political unrest, so unfortunate to say that we did not get to stay in Bocas this trip. Sand Dollar was perfect in their communication with me before payment, after notification of tour company cancelled Bocas, and rapid full refund even with it past the free cancel date. I plan to rebook with Sand Dollar for sure when I make it to Bocas next trip!

Beautiful beach house. Mark and Sharon are amazing people! Friendly and helpful, they went out of our way to make us feel welcome. Great breakfast, lots of birds, wonderful pool. We loved it here!

The employees were remarkably kind and helpful. The food was excellent. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. The best part is the breakfast.

Beautiful, Traditional Bocas architecture. Small B&B with a location across from a great swimable beach. More peaceful than downtown Bocas. Large comfy rooms with good A/c and good airflow if you prefer. Large relaxing veranda with comfy chairs. Should have stayed several days! Only $1 per person when you flag down taxi out front to get to town. Owners are caring folk who make sure you're welcomed and even if our flight was gruesomely early, they provided coffee & yogurt with granola & fruit. Hope to return for a longer stay.

The property is a spacious old-style tropical plantation house, with wide, hardwood floor verandas overlooking the sea. Outside each room are a hammock and two Adirondack chairs overlooking the bay. Everything is clean and lovely. We had a kingsized four-poster bed, and a very large lockable cabinet to keep valuables in. It's a $1 cab ride from town, just far enough away to grant serenity. For my money, it's the best accommodation on the island!

The rooms are spacious and clean, the view from the front of the hotel is the beach area, which has a private feel to it as well. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Caretaker Hasso was super helpful with providing info on local places to visit, how to get there and what to expect. Breakfast was excellent as well. Overall two thumbs up!

The staff were very nice and helpful. They even packed take-away breakfast for us on the last day. The location of the hotel is perfect and the environment is peaceful.

We stayed in a handful of places throughout Panama and the Sand Dollar B&B was by far our favorite. The location was great (steps away from a great beach and not in the heart of town), the rooms were clean and comfortable and the service was exceptional. The staff went out of their way to help us and accommodate our needs. Plus, Damaris makes the best breakfast! Our biggest regret is that we couldn't stay longer.

The property is directly across the road from a great swimming beach. The breakfast were fabulous and changed everyday. For $1 per person it is a quick taxi ride into town for tours, dinners and shopping. But the highlight are your hosts, Sharon, Mark and staff who will do ANYTHING to make your stay in Bocas memorable.

Wonderful hosts, arranged a super day going to different islands, willing to help with anything. Across from a lovely swimming beach, close to others, quiet but a short cab to town. Lovely breakfast. Hope to return!

The B.B. is Situated a 1$ taxi ride from town with its restaurants and bars. The balcony is great just to while the time away relaxing watching the birds, listening to the sea or reading your book. Lovely place!
