Property is just amazingly surrounded with superb staffs

The staff at the property lack professionalism. The arrival experience was very poor. We were issued only 1 room key as the team mentioned we do not have availability. On insisting next day they issued another access. We rang for half hour to the reception no one answered the call. On arrival we reported that the balcony handle was broken and was not fixed during our 3 night stay. We requested to speak to the duty manager and the request was denied. No one called back. A simple laundry bag and pickup took 1 hour We ordered room service and on calling for clearance, we were told to keep it outside. It remained there for hours. Our laundry was misplaced and not delivered on time and had to make multiple calls, finally on the day of checkout it was delivered. The only amazing thing about this hotel is the view and the room amenities.

This was an absolute amazing stay. The staff were all very polite and the infinity pool was above and beyond. I did want to point out a tuk tuk driver called nimal fonseka who absolutely made our stay excellent. He went above and beyond and helped us with anything we needed! He was so trustworthy and the kindest man we met during our trip! We will be staying in contact with him and recommending friends to him! Thankyou again!

Hotel is visually great and the rooms are very comfortable. A very good gym too. However the food is very poor. I didnt experience lunch, however both breakfast and dinner were extremely underwhelming and not worth the price. Very frustrating issues with the elevators where they take a long time to arrive, and the doors dont close properly, so you can waste a lot of time just trying to move around the hotel. Sea view rooms are nice, however the traffic and train station across from the hotel make a lot of noise.

Staff seemed racist and not willing to help. They would hang up and they also only offer two water bottles per day and say water is complimentary. They would literally bring only 2 and never mention it until I asked

The hotel is ok but the room is too small there is no space you can’t even walk . They didn’t gave us any slippers and bath robes . The breakfast is not good they don’t have much option. The service is worst .Also from the room fridge horrible smells came out .

The Japanese toilets and the rooftop bar make this an excellent choice with so many good choices nearby!

Great quality hotel, excellent designed rooms and very clean. Rooms fresh with good air conditioning and not humid like sometimes is the case with hotels in Columbo. Lovely staff, nice facilities and great city and sea views. Would definitely go back again!

This is the worse customer experience I have received in a while.. - Lifts are taking ages to come - Checking in is a nightmare - F&B staff are doing their own things and their discussions when guests being served - It’s terrible Looks like they are short of staff

This hotel should not have cost $100, maybe half. It has a nice bathroom and pool and that's about it. The rooms are tiny and there are clear issues with door locks and appearance. The room service took almost an hour for a cheese burger and 2 fries and the room service person was very rude when she called to ask for payment. Terrible service.

Room was lovely. Not huge but very comfotable and nice batroom. The infinity pool is great and has amazing views. Housekeeping staff very helpful and Hirosh does great hob cleaning room. Excellent way to finish Sri Lankan holiday

I had a great time at the Hotel it was the most wonderful three days such a beautiful place the staff are friendly and the facilities are excellent and thank you to all the staffs who made my experience more fun, comfortable and amazing.

Excellent Room with sea view.

The rooms are on the small side and well appointed. A highlight is the Toto Washlet toilet/bidet. However, I wanted to like the Granbell but experienced multiple issues during my week-long stay. First, the rooftop bar food is subpar but expensive, and the service is only so-so. There were also multiple late night (very early morning; 3 am) false fire alarms, which was very disturbing. On arrival, my room had no hot water, and then on the last night of my stay my room (only) lost all power. The cleaning staff also neglected to provide any towels when refreshing my room.

Its a b=nice, new hotel in a central location in Colombo. The rooms are modern , spacious and have all the comforts you need.
