We had a great stay! Everything was just as listed! Every area was very clean, kitchen well stocked, plenty of towels provided for our 2 night stay. If i could change anything it would have been to add a nightlight of some sort in the twin room. Unfamiliar place/noises and it was completely dark for my daughter. No lamp or nightlight in that room. Also a few of the cabinet doors need tightened down.

Check in was kinda tricky, but that was due to this being my first booking through VRBO. The host was awesome and attentive. I'll be looking for this host in the future.

The house was very lovely; however, with 3 females and one male sharing a bathroom, it would have been very nice to have a bigger vanity with a couple of drawers and an extra surface to put all our toiletries on. I ended up putting a bar stool on the wall opposite from the sink. A thin shelving unit would be perfect there. The only kitchen item we wished you had provided was a hand mixer, as we baked a birthday cake. We planned on sitting around the fire pit but there wasn’t any wood, which would have been a nice touch. Also both the front and backyards were full of ant hills which made it impossible for the kids to spend time outside. The coffee table fell apart, as it is not glued together, but I put it back together. One of the couch cushions has broken springs so when you sat on it, you sunk. The twin bedroom closet door was off the track. Otherwise, we thoroughly enjoyed our time there and thought the house was beautiful.

The house is set up great and has everything you need. The location was convenient to be able to go to the beach or to the little towns around. I would recommend Dunes Escape to my friends and family.

The property is fantastic! The house was clean and tidy. Very easy to navigate and find this throughout, with a kitchen ready to go. The outside space is incredible! Great fireplace, and table to eat at. I would also point out the close and easy it is to get to the Dunes National and State park from the house. Overall great stay!

Property was well maintained. It was very clean!! We really enjoyed our stay here and had everything we needed. The outdoor space was a great touch. Would definitely stay here again. Only thing we wish there was is a tv in the bedroom. Otherwise everything was great! Very easy check in as well.

Overall a nice stay. A quiet neighborhood very close to West Beach in the National Park. We enjoy train sounds, but if that matters to you then be advised that trains are audible throughout the day/night. Beds are comfortable. Dishwasher is not secured well —tips out when loading it. Some cabinet doors are rather loose. They provide beach towels, board games. Blackout curtains were nice.

Three of my teens/young adult children and I stayed here for three nights while visiting the Indiana Dunes National Park. All of us loved the house! It was immaculate and felt like cozy hotel-living. We spent as much time outside as we could in the backyard listening to the birds and enjoying the tranquility. Also, I was amazed how close we were to the park access as well as great local restaurants to visit and shopping. We would stay again without hesitation!

We were road tripping from CT around the Great Lakes and stayed here for 2 nights while visiting Indiana Dunes. The house was perfect for our family. We did not utilize the outdoor areas as we were gone most of the days and it rained both evenings. Great location for visiting the park and Jake was easy to communicate with from booking through checking out. My one recommendation would be to add a second beach chair so 2 adults can sit on the beach comfortably! Also, for anyone worrying about the Gary address- the neighborhood was quiet and safe and right on the edge of the NP. Great stay!

This house was perfect for our stay! The house was very clean, beds comfortable, and had everything we needed. The backyard space was nice for an evening fire in the fire pit. During our stay we visited the Dunes National Park a couple times and then also Marquette Park and both were very close to the house. The house is on a quiet street and even with being outside each evening we never heard any neighbors. After we checked out our next stop on our vacation was Chicago and we made it in about 45 minutes. We look forward to staying here again sometime.

This location has everything you need! and a few little added touches that make you feel at home (K-cups, lawn games, etc.)

Very clean and well stocked with towels, kitchen amenities, lawn games and even chocolate biscotti! Very easy and simple communication. 3 min drive to Indiana Dunes National Park.

This property was a great landing spot for our family as we traveled in the area. We really enjoyed the stay and would not hesitate to book again if the opportunity arose.

This place was great! Very clean. The beds were comfortable, with quality pillows and bedding. The kitchen was appropriately furnished, including a Keurig machine. The neighborhood was nice and there was plenty of parking room in the driveway. Jake was quick to respond to any questions we had. On Saturday, we took our granddaughter to Jak's Warehouse Arcade for the afternoon and on Saturday evening we went to Mission:Escape and tried our hand at an Escape room for the first time. That was a lot of fun! I would definitely choose this place to stay if/when we need another getaway weekend!

This rental is even cozier and more modern in person. There’s plenty of space and the place is fully stocked. From the kitchen having all the things we needed, to the host providing throws in every room and the modern appliances, this home made hosting New Year’s Eve for my family perfect. The hosts are gracious, prompt, communicative and accommodating. The only thing that could be improved is the shower pressure and tub drain. Otherwise, the place is perfect. Would definitely recommend.

We enjoyed the house as well as each other

We had a great experience in this house! One of the girls usually cleans once we arrive where we stay and she didn’t feel the “need” at this house! Close to the dunes and other fun activities. Felt like a safe neighborhood as well. We enjoyed the fire pit one evening as well. Will stay again if we are in the area.
