Great stay

We come back every year. Love this place. Walk to the beach and to the center of town. Reasonable rates clean and quiet.

Great place to stay. Right on the main drag.

The check in staff was pleasant and knowledgeable of the area around town.

It was quiet, comfortable! Walking distance to the beach and not too close (but close enough) from Ogunquit's center.

Perfect location. Two pools and close to beach.

We didn't really know what to expect before arriving at Bourne Acres but were very pleasantly surprised at how cute, well maintained and hospitable it was to the guests. We were only in town 1 night for a girls trip and didn't use the facilities but this place is definitely kid friendly. They had an outdoor movie showing and kids bikes were parked all around. Indoor pool was in use too in July. Room was clean and everything worked. Thinking back at the price, I feel like we got an amazing deal. It's just a mile walk to the center which we had to do both ways because we didn't have cash for the trolley and ubers were non-existent but we ultimately were really happy we had the walk - safe, wide sidwalk the whole way and plenty of people out walking also. Bourne Acres is a great location! Will definitely come back!

It was convenient, clean, and relatively cheap

Stayed here with my family and it was great! The kids enjoyed the breakfast offered, made our mornings much easier!

My only complaint is that the AC was off until we got to the room and it took 2hours after turning the AC on to not be sweltering in the room. Staff were polite and great. I love it was a quick walk from restaurants and the beach, and that there was a pool with a wide array of floaties to use! If we didn’t have a sweaty miserable room upon arrival I’d have given five stars.

It was our annual 4th of July trip! We love this motel for location, pool and easy access to the beach!

The motel room was spacious, clean and beds were comfortable. Air conditioner was noisy, but did drown out any noise from the road. Easy walk to the beach.

Clean and close to the places we had tickets to. We enjoyed our stay.

We had a nice time; the room was clean and fairly comfortable. The toilet in our room ran constantly, but it didn't detract from our stay. The only thing I would suggest is adding a soft chair to the room by the sofa. There's plenty of room for one. The chairs around the table are hard and not comfortable for sitting in for very long. It would also be nice if there was an end table new the sofa. :-)

The staff were very nice and helpful. The beds were hard and a little uncomfortable, but the room was nice and spacious. The bathroom looked be brand new. Loved the pools and grilling out. Overall we had a great time.

I enjoyed my stay at Ocean Acres because it was affordable, close to desired area and convenient. I rated the cleanliness average because in general the room looked and was clean however it didn’t seem that they changed the sheets since I had found a cluster of hairs under the bedding sheet. That was the only flaw, other than that I enjoyed my stay here.

The pull out couch could use some upgrading. The toilet kept making noises. But otherwise was a good experience.

Staff was incredibly friendly, room was clean and showed some updates. Mini fridge was unplugged and very old, definitely needs an upgrade, AC unit was unplugged and we arrived to a warm room. Bedding could use an upgrade also. Would recommend for a short term stay with basic needs.

Convenient, clean, quiet. However, Wifi was terrible, not even usable.

Staff was very helpful, courteous and friendly. Very clean and felt safe. Ample and free parking. Very good value.

Blankets dirty, shower curtain mold, pillows like mush

My wife and I have stayed at numerous locations over the past 14 years in Ogunquit. Never had an experience like this. The positives were that the room was large and the location was quiet. The bedding uncomfortable and hard. The first night was o.k, even though we had a noise from the bath room plumbing that repeating its grumbling consistently every 15 minutes. That was o.k. because we cranked up the fan to drown out the noise. Day two - we came back to - no new towels - room not vacuumed - but bed made and trash removed. Day 3 was horrible - came back at 2 pm to a room that was never picked up and the only thing that was done was the dirty towels on the bathroom floor were removed as was the trash. Room never picked up, nor was the bed made, nor were there any new towels. My wife went to the front desk and was given no explanation as to why the room was in that condition, but given new towels. Day 4 check out. I had to tell the "Manager" Andy about our experience and what he should have done to accommodate my wife and I the night before. Andy's expression was like a deer looking into the headlights. His comment was " You're complaining about the bed not being made?" Hello? Apparently when he took the course for Customer Service - he must have completed it via zoom and fell asleep. I was told by Andy that they have been in business for 60 years. So I asked him, "What is your point?" I then asked who the owners were, he said "My parents". That explained everything!
