The property is well kept, clean, easy to find, and well-stocked with all the necessities--almost like being at home. Steven is very kind and responsive, so I felt we were in good hands. We will definitely be back if the property is available in the future :)

We went there for the Font Sight (now called Prairie Fire) training class and this was a great place for our family to stay. The neighborhood is quiet. The house is cozy. The bathroom has every toiletry you could need. The kitchen is very well stocked. This was so nice because we didn't have to by salt, pepper, ziplock bags, etc. I would highly recommend this property.

VRBO was everything expected from other reviews. Steve, the owner was super to work with. Linda, the house keeper, was a delight to visit with. VRBO was spacious, clean and well stocked with items not normally found in other places. It was warm, inviting and comfortable. Great stay. However, Steve, next time could you schedule better weather for us. lol Larry and Kay.

Flawless! After talking with Steve several months before our vacation, I knew instantly all would go well with this rental. It did! The Big House is a lovely and excellently managed place, conveniently located for our hiking excursions to Death Valley. Before arrival we received a welcome email, giving all details and letting us know The Big House would be open and ready upon arrival. Such low stress opening the door and walking right in. The lay out works great with two bedrooms on one side and the master on the opposite end. The master bedroom area has tons of space with cool cut log furniture. The family room has games, a large television, and an extra-large beautiful, comfy sectional with vibrating seats. The kitchen is better stocked than my own - all the dishes, pots pans, utensils needed to easily cook our meals. The cabinets offered an array of spices and more with condiments in the refrigerator as well. The grill worked great too. The host generously offers a wonderful supply of toiletries in case someone forgot something. Steve and Yvonne have really thought of everything. Their cleaning lady does a great job too. And the best part – finally a place without a long list of things to do before leaving. Another bonus, our group loved the slot machine. Although we didn’t win big, what great fun and a needed distraction for the early bird of the group. The Big House has a huge parking lot with parking only steps away from the house and grocery stores/gas stations close by. My friend summed it up when she said, “I would live here.” Thanks Steve and Yvonne for helping make our first trip to Pahrump and Death Valley amazing!

Loved the house , had everything we needed and great communication with the owner

The house was clean, spacious, well equipped, comfortable, and quiet. It truly exceeded our expectations. It was close enough to Death Valley to allow us to enjoy all that the National Park had to offer. A great choice!

We stayed at the Big House. Everything is clean and in good order with easy access to Death Valley (1 hour). We would definitely stay here again when in Pahrump NV.

This home is a wonderful place to stay and furnished very well. They have also supplied many amenities that add to the experience and make it several notches above normal. I would highly recommend this home for anyone who has opportunity to stay in Pahrump.

The unit was ideal for our stay. Location is perfect, close enough to town to enjoy the businesses but just far enough out to get the "desert" experience. The cleanliness is outstanding and appliances in great shape. The owner takes time to provide coffee, toiletries, and cleaning supplies. Overall I give it a 100 out of 100 rating. The pre-arrival and follow-up by the owner reflects his desire for a rewarding stay. I would definitely come back again.

For us this place was just like home. We had pretty much anything we might have needed for less than a hotel room. It made a great base camp for seeing regional sights when our Front Sight plans fell through. Steven was very accommodating when we asked to extend our stay, too. If we get another opportunity to visit Front Sight this is the first place we would look to stay!

This property was exactly as described and fit the bill perfectly for what we needed during our stay!

Exactly what we needed for our trip to Front Sight. Convenient and clean property.

This is probably one of the cleanest and most well stocked houses that I have ever rented. Renting the property was a last minute decision and Steve was very quick with responding to my questions. It was wonderful to find little things like condiments in fridge, shampoo, hair dryers, and a cooler. The only thing we needed that wasn’t in the kitchen was a gallon sized pitcher that would fit in the fridge for mixing up drinks. Would definitely consider all the pictures and reviews to be very accurate

Our family had a great weekend meeting here. Comfortable stay. That suited everyone’s needs. Everyone loved the slot machine!

I have rented properties through VRBO for years, and the Big House is one of the best I've ever come across! The kitchen has everything you will need and then some. The beds and furniture are comfortable - especially after a long day of exploring Death Valley. The fresh eggs in the refrigerator were delicious, and Steve called right after I booked, to give me his cell number in case we had any questions or problems. The Big House was a great base camp for our long weekend, and if I ever get back to the area, I will definitely stay there again. Steve and Yvonne, thank you for opening this home to us, we made so many wonderful memories!

We spent weekend at frontsight. It was a great place to stay with lots of room.

Great property. Spacious house, thoughtful amenities, very clean. Well-stocked with everything you need for kitchen (even fresh eggs). Friendly and helpful owner.

The place is marvelous. The owner goes beyond cleanliness and basic comfort. Steve keeps in contact to make sure our arrival is taken care of. Little details such as towels, soap bars, lotions are provided just like great hotel. Kitchen items are great for our usage. Love little added to well come us such as massager sofa and slot machine to smooth out sore body after all day hiking and fresh chicken eggs- those rich and creamy eggs that so heavenly delicious.
