Nice clean room in a quirky little town. A fun stay.

Hotel is situated right in the centre of the village. It is down a steep hill from the pay and display carpark at the top, but it is only a short walk. Cost for 24hrs was £6. Staff at the hotel couldn't do enough to help us on arrival, with luggage etc. The hotel has a restaurant where we had a great meal that evening. A full breakfast was included and served in a separate room on the 1st floor. Overall a very enjoyable break for us in a lovely place.

Lovely hotel in a lovely area. Room was nice and fresh and everything looked new. Bar food and service was great. Nice atmosphere. Breakfast and service was great.

We have stayed here a few times and i absolutely love the staff and hospitality we receive. The food is lovely too. Will definitely be back again.

Cannot honestly think of a negative during our stay. The staff were both friendly and helpful, the food was amazing. Everything both myself & my partner ate was cooked superbly . The room was clean and spacious . The photo's do not do The Royal George justice. Perfect place for a few days away by the coast . If I could suggest one thing that would have been the cherry on the cake as it were .. Would be to allow dogs to stay overnight

Hotel and service was great the only problem we had was we were in a room with a private bathroom but next door during the two nights of our stay was a room with a on suite which wasnt offered to us.

Stayed for 1 night and wish it had been more! From start to finish great hospitality! all the staff were brilliant and a large comfortable room that was spotlessly clean with every need taken care of. We had our evening meal here and the food was great! Large portions and delicious as was our breakfast. We will definitely return and would highly recommend a stay here.

Great place to stay , very welcoming, good pub food

The Royal George has 3 new rooms which were clean and lovely. The pub is brilliantly situated in a ‘old fishing village’ location. Service was excellent and staff were very good. Breakfast was really good.

Our stay at The Royal George was fantastic. The staff were super friendly and very accommodating, the room was lovely with a very spacious separate private bathroom and the food was amazing. I would highly recommend this to anyone planning a break in Staithes.

Had a lovely 1 night stay here for a short break. Set down in the village, parking has to be at the top of a very steep hill. We parked in the very busy council carpark which cost £6 for 24hrs. The pub itself is small and cosy and our room was clean and modern, as was the shower room, with a good size tv. The only downside was the shower room was down the corridor, but I believe the other 2 rooms are ensuite. Breakfast was good, I enjoyed the scrambled eggs with smoked salmon. The owner also made us a packed lunch to take out on our walk to Runswick Bay.

Lovely little hotel in a beautiful location. The harbour is a 1 min walk away, the room wasn't ensuite but I did have my private bathroom next door. The hotel bar was full due to the huge size portions of food they sell....locals flock to this place. No parking but it's free to park outside after 6pm.

The hotel was great, lovely size room with private bathroom Very clean and and good breakfast with a good selection and great service Food in the bar for lunch again a good selection and lovely and excellent value I emailed regarding parking and received a prompt reply covering all information All in all perfect and contributed to a fantastic bank holiday weekend away

This is a nice pub / hotel, located a 2 minute walk from the sea front in Staithes. The pub is an old fashioned proper local with a good selection of beers, and good home cooked food. We had the steak pie, which was good quality, and really filling. The rooms are to a good standard, and with a cooked breakfast included at £90, was overall value for money.

Cosy clean and friendly staff. Great location. Would recommend and definitely stay again.

Stayed at the Royal George as was on our walking route. Very comfy beds and great service. The food in the pub was really tasty and the breakfast was splendid

The walk from the car park is a bit steep for the elderly.

This was our second time stayin at The George and it’s a fantastic place to locate yourself in Staithes. The rooms are comfortably furnished and spotless. The breakfast is probably one of the best hotel breakfasts you’ll get - and cooked to order so really fresh. All in all, The George is a coastal gem.

Booking said deluxe room, wouldn't agree, no wardrobe and bathroom not ensuite, never had this anywhere else we've stayed.

One night stay was spot on. Walking behind the bar to get to the room great fun. Breakfast fab.

Fantastic place, food and staff exceptional, but it should be made clear that there is no on site parking, and that the nearest place to park is at the top of the hill, not so much of a problem if you are fit, but a very definate problem f you are in any way disabled, however, the staff were brilliant and gave me a lift to the car park. my wife named the hill, Cardiac Hill.

Had a brilliant time. Lovely room, friendly staff. Staithes always gorgeous. Only complaint is my fried egg was overcooked, but I can live with that☺

Not first stay and will not be last. Staithes is a wonderful place to stay.

Comfy bed. Good food. Great staff. Right at the centre of the village. Lovely walks & views.
