A lovely, spacious and up to date home! Large enough to afford each guest their own bedroom/bath and the upstairs area was perfect for game playing and conversation. Kitchen offered all amenities for food preparation and dining area was perfect for family meals. There were two wheelchair/walker family members that used the elevator to access each level. Huge Plus!!! I would definitely return!!!

Loved the layout of the house. Plenty of room for all. The outdoor space was well used despite the weather. The kitchen was over stocked with pots pans and utensils . There was no space to store food.We didn't realize how far away the house was from the Nags Head area where we had planned most of our activities. Being with family was what was really important. The negatives are a non working TV in first floor bedroom, Bunkbeds meant only for small children, dirty plates and pans in the kitchen, no cleaning supplies, such as glass cleaner, dust brush to pick up dirt and sand, unstable stair treads going to upper most deck and moldy outdoor mats.

This house was absolutely fantastic. Had something for everyone in the family. Host was very quick to respond to any inquiries. House was clean. Everything worked as it should. Would definitely stay again!

Our stay at The Lucky Viking was amazing. The house is spacious and great for large groups. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need. The pool area was fabulous with the outside bar and the kids really enjoyed having the pirate ship in the backyard. The walk to the beach was a little long for toddlers, but it is very simple with a beautiful walking path not far from the home. Amy, the host, was great to communicate with and always replied quickly.

This house was absolutely perfect for our family of 13! It was clean, spacious, had a very clean well-stocked kitchen, and the pool area was amazing! The walk to the beach was a little on the long side, but totally worth it. The host was easy to reach and very responsive to our needs. We would definitely stay here again!

Our family went there for my big birthday. The property was everything they said. The house was great for our group. The location was spectacular. I can’t tell you how much we enjoyed the stay and I would recommend to everyone

I would have to say that the house fit perfectly to our needs. It had a nice pool with a great bar! The rooms felt spacious and not on top of each other so each couple/person felt they had their own space. It was super easy to access the beach, just a short 5 minute walk! Very accessible! The roof balcony was great to watch sunsets and all over just a great fit for our family! We utilized the elevator for move in and move out purposes and absolutely a great feature for this home. We did encounter an issue that the host was quick to address. Very understanding, very courteous and was great to work with. Would suggest this beautiful home to anyone.

Great house for a large or extended family. Truly enjoyed the pool with the kids and the beach was a short walk away. Loved how close lots of activities were.

Loved the house, neighborhood and ease of access to the beach. The owner, Amy, was very helpful. There was an internet outage in the area and she proactively got in touch with me about it. We loved the volleyball court, pool and cabana, hot tub, pool table, etc. We did not need the elevator for accessibility purposes but it was a nice feature for us, on move in and out days, for getting stuff from the third floor down to the ground floor. The only problem we had was that the outdoor areas could definitely use some cleanup. I did pass this along and was assured that it would be addressed. Had I said it during the week I have a feeling Amy might have gotten someone there right away if possible, but I didn’t until afterwards. Would definitely choose this house again if we do another trip to Corolla.

What a fun experience on the Outerbanks. The Lucky Viking offers a little of everything. Easily supported 5 families, big and luxurious, pool & hot tub. Great outdoor bar and BBQ area(s). Plenty of parking. Close walk to beach and Currituck Lighthouse, park and views of sound are only 5 mins drive. Sand driving within 5 mins also...great fishing and wild horses on the beach.

Our need for a large house, with more than the average number of bedrooms, is where we’re at in life right now. Our kids now have boyfriends and college friends that are joining us. We also bring my mom wherever we go, and she can’t climb lots of stairs. So, when I came across this home, I was thrilled. It had everything we needed, and more. Everyone could have their own room and their own bathroom. My mom used the elevator to get from floor to floor. The kids loved the pool table, and we all enjoyed the many decks and hot tub. The pool would have been nice, had we not been there in November. Our goal was to spend Thanksgiving away from home, yet all together. This home was perfect for entertaining. The kitchen was plenty big and well-stocked. The table was the perfect size for eight, and the living room was large, yet cozy to watch the parade and football games. Amy was an excellent host, as she always got back to me in a timely manner every time I asked a question. Finally, the price was just right. For this, I was grateful because I would not have been afforded it otherwise. Every other home with more than 4 bedrooms was well overpriced. We had a wonderful stay.

This was a wonderful spot for my family. There was plenty of room for everyone and the open kitchen and living room gave us all a chance to be together. The place was very clean, and the amenities were plentiful. The elevator was especially helpful since quite a few of us were seniors with handicaps. The contact was very friendly and helpful, too. I highly recommend this rental.
