Room was beautiful, spacious and very clean, with a big comfortable bed and great shower. The hotel location is few minutes away from the airport and 15 min from the city center, which was what I was looking for.

The staff was very rude, specially the lady at the reception asking if I refused a service offered cause I couldn’t afford it (with a sad mocking face) and making very unpleasant comments I didn’t interact with. The complementary breakfast is very poor and would not define it as complementary: as beverages you can only have a black coffee and order 2 food options out of a dozen.

We had a late check In after taking three flights from the UK and a long journey. As soon as we arrived at the hotel we were given a lovely welcome and shown to our beautiful room. We just had time for a quick meal in their restaurant which was very tasty. After a very comfortable sleep and lovely breakfast by the morning light we got to see how nice this hotel with fantastic gardens and facilities really is. The helpful reception staff organised transportation for us to Apo Island using their agent Mike. Mike was super efficient and very competitively priced. Our journey to Apo Island was very comfortable and went smoothly, we decided to use Mike's services for our return from Apo Island which also went smoothly.

I regretted very much that we did not have a few more days to stay at this fantastic hotel with such lovely staff and great facilities.

One of the best hotels I stayed at (I stayed at 10 in 4 weeks) So relaxing. Loved the bar. The gardens are loverly.... Room was fantastic. Staff wounderful... I highly recomend a visit

Breakfast - only allowed 1 drink so if you chose an orange juice you had to pay for the coffee. Seems ridiculous.

No. 1... From the moment I arrived until I left, the ENTIRE STAFF, is what really made my time spent there the best. Courteous, respectful, very pleasant to be around. Always wanting to make my stay the best. The food was very good. I had the two best massages i think I have ever had. T knows exactly where it hurts and fixes it. My long plane trip back to home will be much better because of it. All the Best to everyone at UNWND HOTEL DUMAGUETE.

The property was very cozy. The breakfast was amazing. The staffs are approchable.

There was a glitch when we’re checking in. I booked thru booking and the changes I’ve made does not reflect on their end. But all in all they’ve come up with a solution.

overall, you pay more then it’s worth. I waited 25 minutes to checkout because they didn’t know how to prioritize and let others go ahead of me, their spa services are just not worth it and wouldn’t tailor the experience to my needs, the bar is a poor excuse for a bar and they don’t have vegetarian options. I won’t stay here again if I had the choice.

Unpaved road to the hotel.. need breakfast menu variety

Our second, and not the last stay in this nice and enjoyable place with small sauna, gym and pool. You nred a scooter or car to travel comfortably between the hotel and city centre.

The music in the restaurant was often too loud, but the personnelle readily and kindly lowered it upon our request. Also, music with more class, such as classic, blues, local troubadoures or the like, would better match the class and good ambiance of the hotel than the everyday American popular music.

the roads leading to the hotel need to be repaired and far from the main road.

the facilities and amenities. they have a small gym, sauna and spa for massage. there’s also a pool and bar.

The staff was exceptionally friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. The manager had great recommendations for local sight-seeing and gave excellent referrals for snorkeling and day trips from the hotel.

No light in the bathroom to be able to shave....the cappuccino is way overpriced and the quality at best is poor....also it was only warm....they need to use a temperature Guage to make it properly

The road leading to the hotel needs work!

Our stay was wonderful, the whole team put so much effort into making sure we had everything we needed - letting us check in early, arranging cabs, and an amazing tour to Apo Island. It truly exceeded our expectations, our Cabana was lovely and the whole place is a beautiful serene retreat in a busy city. Would absolutely recommend, and hope to return or visit their sister hotels in the future.
