Comfortable clean room aufriebt for a solo traveller. Fantastic food though on higher price bracket. Drinks costs were reasonable. Good size pool and nice sauna facilities. Wonderful garden outside sauna

Quality of staff was a little bit uneven. And they sometimes came across a bit stressed or short. But it was a busy holiday weekend and also maybe a North German cultural thing. Access to sauna and also other such details not really explained at check in and I had to figure it out myself.

The room was clean, good quality of the interior, nice staff, good sleep, great breakfast. Overall impressed.

We have arrived around 10.00 pm and there was no where to eat.

The location, breakfast, spa facilities and amenities are exceptional. We really enjoy the hotel and its vicinities. We'll definitely come back. Highly recommended.

Really a minor thing; the pillow could be better. Otherwise we really like the place.

A very nice hotel. Interestingly located. Nicely furnished rooms. A hotel for those who want to relax. Large swimming pool and saunas. Good restaurant and bar. Bar service very professional.

Staff must learn English. Most don't say a word. Our whole stay was spoiled by one lady serving breakfast, who shouted at us in German, and at our request she should say in English what happened, she waved her hands disparagingly. It was very unprofessional and as foreign guests we felt just offended.

The hotel itself is great, ideally situated as a hiking base and at a compound with many activities possible. Rooms are very modern, and the bathrooms very stylish. The breakfast buffet is extensive and has many options. The staff was very friendly.

We tried the more accessible one of the two hotel restaurants (The View), and while the food was okay, they do seem to have somewhat higher aspirations than they can live up to.

The breakfast was excellent.

The staff of the restaurant was too busy to be good. The carpet of the room was old and smells a little bit. The pool was nice.

Staff makes you feel like a problem. You are not really a guest, you want a drink on the terrace? You have to get someone yourself who then is annoyed you are making them work. You have a question at reception? Watch them roll their eyes at you. To be fair though, we also encountered a very nice staff member, so it depends on who you meet.
