Im happy we stayed here only one night. The stuff was kind of rude, completing their tasks mechanically without any warmth. There was a party happening in the hotel, and then music was so loud, that we couldn't sleep. After spending the entire day on the road we were really looking forward to a restful sleep, which was impossible under the circumstances. Our room and balcony overlooked a construction site instead of the promised mountain view.

The hotel is under construction. They are building another part. The construction started early in the morning through all day. They were digging with a pneumatic hammer!!! Can you imagine to be awakened like this in your vacation?! We made the reservation in March and no one informed us about this constructions. Certainly we would have canceling the reservation. We are very disappointed and looking for a fair compensation. they gave us 10 € discount 😡for the 2 nights - this is outrageous and embarrassing.

We had initially post am see booked, but as they were on renovations, we were lucky enough to stay at their partner hotel Das Traunsee. The hotel is nicely located near the lake, and we had a direct deck with balcony and lake view. The breakfast was of very good quality. staff very friendly. We had a wonderful experience at the restaurant, where we enjoyed a chef’s menu and wine tasting for each dish. We tried also the restaurant of Post am See, which had a larger menu, and very good options as well. We opted also to use the park at the hotel, which was very convenient.

Even though our room was an upgrade, we felt some aspects could have been improved: the mini bar was not working, the Hotel could benefit also from some renovations, and when going to the Spa, there was always a strong food smell from the kitchen as it was just nearby. Also, would it be a nice touch to find other option to store the cleaning items (as they were located in the corridor, only partially covered).

Grate hotel with very kind and pleasant staff. Breakfast is nice.

Lake view, staff, food, really worthy to stay.

Bathroom was a bit old fashioned. There was a bathtub which is not visible anymore in this kind of hotels. Unfortunately there were big scratches in it. Nothing really serious. No reserved parking space.

The dinner was not what we expected. There was only one menu and you could only chose between 2 main courses. So if we wasn’t satisfied there was no other option.

spacious and clean rooms rich breakfast with on demand preparation of eggs (best omelettes we ever had) really friendly and helpful staff perfect for biking (scenic routes around all nearby lakes) and hiking (close-by Ebensee - Feuerkogel - lots of nice trails and views), generally there is lots of stuff to do (rent a boat, rent a bike, go swimming, ... ) food was fantastic (best place in area to get a dinner)

during the weekends, parking can get tricky (lots of cars)

Hi, The breakfast was great, but it lacked ketchup and mustard. You'll find marinated fish, truffles in honey and other specialties.

he madrassas are terribly soft. They hurt my back - maybe that's why they have Wellness

Water temperature in the shower was not stable. Suddenly cold or supper hot.
