I stayed in the hotel for one night. The room was comfortable and warm, with everything you need.

However, the morning after the breakfast was a bit disappointing. We sat at the table and the receptionist brought a couple of plates with charcuterie and a couple of pieces of cucumber and peppers as well as a plate with scrambled eggs, sausages and bacon. She didn’t ask as whether we were vegetarian or explained us how the breakfast works and she was with her earbuds on the whole time so it wasn’t very welcoming. We read about the amazing brunch, but we cannot say the same about the breakfast. The coffee was filter coffee with cold milk, no options to have a cappuccino, tea or another type of hot beverage

Pathetic!! They put up wrong pictures, the castle photo is just for show, they put up your stay in a barn next to it, which is pathetic, no lift, no service, tiny room, pathetic bathrooms. Breakfast was awful.. They should put pictures of barn where actually client will be staying.

They gave room with heater not working, they are fooling people with wrong pictures, they show photo of castle and put up customers in a barn next to it. everything about the property was rubbish!! It’s a beautiful place in stunning location. Perfect if you have a dog.

It’s way too overpriced. Breakfast was also a hit and miss. The bread extremely tough (not sure what it was?) considering the price of the stay you’d expect the breakfast to be exceptional- and unfortunately it wasn’t. Also elements of self service- which we didn’t realise until last minute. Selected opening hours of the reception- and not the easiest place to check in at late at night when it’s dark.

We chose not to have breakfast. The location was lovely.

The cobblestone path from the car park to the entrance of the accomodation was rather tricky to walk on especially when carrying luggage, we were concerned we might trip up.

Good value for money, great surroundings, ideal for a morning run. Good breakfast with variety of choices.

To make the breakfast better a bit more vegan or vegetarian choices sould be available.

Rooms really small if you have two suitcases and Television did not work.

The breakfast buffet was excellent and gluten free options were avaiable. The setting is an old manor house/castle so views out into park are exceptional and dining rooms are historic and beautiful. Location perfect for us as it was near to our friends in CPH but this is principally a conference venue and as such is primarily geared for that market.

Rooms in separate stable block converted we estimate in the late 1990s so facilities a trifle tired.

The breakfast was fantastic both in terms of food and location quality.

It is not clear at all from the description on the booking website, but (at least in our case) the actual room was not in the castle itself. It was in the barn building 50 meters away. The quality of the room was also not very good. While it was clean, the renovation was obviously done a long time ago - the looks and materials condition are now somewhat poor. The view from the windows was also nowhere as good as you would expect after seeing the photos.

Basically everything. room was clean, bathroom spacious, exceptional breakfast, especially during Sunday’s brunch - That is experience you should definitely try. Location where the castle is placed is really nice and peaceful and only 20 minutes far from Copenhagen.

Lovely woods and garden. Found a quaint, little teahouse. Breakfast in the Queen's Room was bright and pretty.

The room was small and the deco was dated. Without a car, the location was difficult to find.
