Clean, well kept, quiet (with windows shut), remote staff are very responsive. Generally, accomodation in west Berlin is quite far from the sites in east Berlin, but public transport is efficient and reliable.

The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was small but clean. There is not a receptionist. You get a code to get into the building and into your room. There is suppose to be a security guard at the front entrance. During my two day stay I never saw the person. The front door of the building was wide open one evening. The door of your room does not have a deadbolt to lock it from the inside. I would have preferred that.

Lot of places to eat and easy public transportation access

The room was very clean and stylish but very small for a family of 4. No place to store luggage.

Wonderful stay, very comfortable and great communication. The only downside was that we didn’t have hot water a couple of days. Overall fantastic!

Excellent value, comes w/ kitchen, very comfortable bed, stove top, wine glasses, fridge, with very easy access. Highly recommend for Berlin. Beautiful upscale neighbourhood.

The room was great - spacious and clean. They could do better in their WiFi. It was often a weak connection. Also, it would’ve been nice to have the room cleaned atleast once during our stay. After 4 days, it did get a bit messy, especially the bathroom

Bad customer service Their system glitch Asked me to stand there and take videos and think I’m just stupid Only after an hour they found out it’s their system issue Customer service is horrible The guard thinks everyone is a thief and follow you around but will not help you. The cleaning people just open the door in without knocking. No cleaning service or garbage pick up, but every single day they open the door in when I was still in the unit. To steal things? I don’t know. Just horrible

I had a lovely time staying at Numa Novela Rooms & Apartments. All my questions were promptly answered via WhatsApp. The apartment was clean and the location safe and convenient. Highly recommended.

The stay was completely spoiled by lack of hot water in the building for the duration of the stay and total lack of transparency by the owners about the severity of the problem, and then the fact that we had to negotiate to leave, says everything you need to know about lack of care and consideration for guests. In theory these automated no staff systems offer efficiency but shows when their is a problem they can't empathise to the guest situation. Overall poorly handled.

Nice, spacious rooms with contemporary design. Great location with everything aroud needed - as well as close connection to anywhere else in the city by public transport. Most convenient check-in ever expereinced. Contact with staff easy and effective.

Avoid if you want a safe place to stay. Front door does not shut properly anyone can walk in. Room doors also do not close properly - beware. I booked this place for two of my work colleagues for a week for a trade show. unfortunately due to a bereavement one colleague could not go so I went in his place. Getting hold of Numa/Novela to change the booking wasn’t easy. I asked to amend the check in date as my flight had been cancelled and I would arrive a day later than my colleague but they refused to change it. I didn’t want a refund just to change the date as I physically couldn’t get there - no, not possible apparently. My colleague arrived and went into his room For the first night. After falling asleep he woke around 2am to find a man in his room standing by the door who immediately left the room and shut the door. Being very tired from travel and a long day at work he assumed the man had just come into the wrong room by mistake, and he went straight back to sleep. He woke in the morning to find his phone and wallet had been stolen. Luckily he caught a member of staff who was delivering the breakfast boxes who were able to call the police and management for him. Police were able to look at his phone/credit card transactions that a thief had come into the hotel and then gone on to do the same thing at other hotels. My colleague let me know and I immediately contacted Numa to ask them to let us check out or find us accommodation else where - they refused.

It was perfect.

Rooms are new &,with all the accessories. The wifi is excellent The place is allmost at the centre & in the middle of two trains stations- near the hotel very good restaurant of burgers We’re family and stay for one week , and we ask few times for a basic cleaning and they don’t want to do it! Also we ask one day before check out to leave one hour after and they don’t let us !? There is no help desk at all - only at the what’sup is the speaker and you feel to speak with an ‘robot’ ! I think that next time we’ll take a true hotel…

This is an old hotel with little or no renovations. No Airconditioning such that you have to keep the windows open looking out on the street - the noise is very disturbing. No internet in the room, no outlets to charge your phone, Old TV didn’t work. Not recommended

Unfriendly guy in the reception, he has no idea how to welcome guests. The location is nice but the hotel is old but i had luck to have a nice room with a balcony. One of the towels looked like used for thousands of times before that is why it is suffering from wear.

The hotel is centrally located and public transport was just around the corner. The room was very clean and bright. Unfortunately, one could hear almost everything from the aisles outside. There was a large youth group on the same floor which was very noisy until late. Staff did not care much about complaints and only offered as a solution that guests could call the police.

The check in was not possible before 15:00. The parking situation in front of the hotel was unclear: one person from the reception said it is possible if spaces are available, another one pointed that parking is prohibited during the day. We ended up parking on the metered parking for total of 10€ per day. The room was rather small compared to the pictures. The room was really hot and there wasn't possibility to regulate the heat. We had to stay with windows open the entire time (in February). This was also not a good option because the room was facing the street and the street noise kept on waking us up. Other than that the room was relatively clean and the location was good. Plenty of transportation options, bakeries and restaurants nearby.

Very dirty, old carpets, pillows etc. The elevator was the same from the second world war. In my country (Greece) you will never find a room like this not even for free. But in Germany which is not a tourist country, maybe a hotel like this it's common, I don't know. This is not a hotel or hostel , its abandoned old building that someone crossed the street and without to spend a euro started to throw there Indian and Pakistan refugees and tourists together. Unbelievable. Don't go there.

The hotel is perfectly located, close to buses and underground. It offers a basic stay, if you are not too picky (some stains on the floor, walls not very well isolated, sometimes the hallway smells). One day we did not have water at all during the day, but we went to the city anyway. Good breakfast. I would repeat!

Stairs from street were shallow and steep. There was old food in the closet from previous tenants. Staff were very friendly, helpful and responsive.

Our experience at check-in at the Olivaer Apart Hotel was an absolute nightmare. We had a group of 8 checking in - all of whom were booked through Expedia. We called ahead to confirm everything was good and also sent a staff member to oversee the check-in process to ensure guest comfort and ease in logistics. When our staff member arrived there were two young folks at the front desk - one assisted in confirming the list of guests and room allocations. This young man (I believe his name was Max) was kind, thoughtful, and helpful. When the group arrived and approached the front desk to get keys and finalize check in, the woman there (Anja) was absolutely horrible to us. She got extremely frustrated immediately about the group size and that one of the guests names was wrong - she then proceeded to yell at all the guests, yell at the kind young woman who was trying to assist her with check in, and yell at our staff representative. Anja was slamming things on the desk, screaming, huffing, talking over the group when they tried to clarify the confusion and refused to serve us with any degree of customer attention or respect. After our staff member asked repeatedly that she calm down and show some respect she huffed off and the young woman working with her calmly sorted out the issue in about 30 seconds. We got all the keys, got everyone checked in and then Anja came back and continued to vent, being absolutely rude to all the guests and our staff. DO NOT recommend.

I had a great stay at this really good, low-cost hotel bang in the middle of Berlin. I'll definitely go there again. Great breakfasts too!

Very convenient and comfortable hotel with friendly staff, near to bus stops and easy to reach to stadtcentrum.

Nice hotel for what I paid. Not close to Berlin main station but has excellent train and bus links. Hotel is located in a nice area. The staff are very friendly and helpful. When I stayed here for 2 nights, this hotel was very busy. The room was warm and comfortable and clean. I would stay here again.
