very nice rooms and friendly front desk staff and housekeeping. the breakfast food options were very nice and fresh squeezed juice and excellent lattes/cappuccinos were a plus. the wait staff for breakfast and dinner were not attentive, didn't explain the breakfast menu ( buffet /a la carte/included not included) and brought down the experience. I waited 9 minutes after receiving my food to get my silverware after asking 2 times for silverware and I was one of 6 tables in the restaurant. this was not an anomaly. The other tables experienced similar service as we talked about it. only 2 breakfasts out of 5 went smoothly for service. the rest of the staff should be commended and receive 5 stars! I would return. housekeeping was very friendly and accommodating. the gym is tiny, but "qualifies" as a gym.the rooms are nice and even nicer than they appear online. The showers had great water pressure as well.

I booked a deluxe room with tub( shown in the photos). However, I got a smaller room without a tub. The bathroom is really small. They claimed it is also a deluxe room. But, it’s not what I booked and expected for. They should not charge the same if the amenities are different from what they advertised for.

We loved the location of the hotel, loved the spa features and loved the trendy feel to the property! We especially loved the Flava restaurant and had an incredible dinner and great breakfasts during our stay. Would definitely recommend this property and would stay again!!

Very nice hotel in a great location. The staff were super helpful too, arranging packed breakfasts and a cab for us at 5am to go to the airport. Would definitely stay here again :)

Loved our stay at Verno House! The design of the room and lobby were so fun and the staff were wonderful, as well. The bathtub did not disappoint and neither did the daily breakfast. I would definitely stay there again.

An absolutely beautiful hotel. Every attention to detail has been made. For a relatively small hotel the facilities are excellent. The rooms are beautiful, very large, the decor amazing. The position I couldn’t be better. In the heart of Budapest. Right opposite Freedom Square and on oktober street with an amazing array of restaurants. Everything is within walking distance.

Room and hotel are amazing. Very quiet at night. Bed and room are huge.
Breakfast was really good. My only ‘but’ is that the spa was out of order, I’m not convinced it’s ever been ‘in’ order. Looked like a building site when we went down to it to see. And three of the floors have the windows covered in black tarpaulin as they aren’t finished. Hotel is a WIP. Didn’t hear much building noise though having said that.
One final gripe is that on our last day we waited in the bar for our taxi and ordered a drink each. We were offered some water (tap water) and then charged 900ft for it. Only had three sips.

Verno House is a modern and stylish hotel within walking distance of Parliament, the Basilica and Chainbridge.
The room was beautifully furnished, very modern and well equipped. The lobby was also very stylish and made you feel very comfortable.
Breakfast was in the hotel restaurant and was also very good. The staff were very friendly and courteous. We also regularly asked for recommendations for food spots in the city.
Unfortunately, the hotel spa was closed at the time of our stay due to construction work. However, we were offered to use the spa of another 5-star hotel nearby.

We had a fantastic stay in one of the superior rooms on the 4th floor. The service we receieved was fantastic, rooms were beautiful, clean, fairly soundproof, and had a great view of liberty park. All hotel staff were very helpful and attentive. Our grandparents hadn't had a holiday in over 10 years and they made sure to leave some chocolates for them on arrival which made their day! Great location for resturants, the parliament building and transport links. Lastly the hotel facilities are excellent with free use of the jacuzzi, sauna and steam room as well as a small gym. More than enough for our stay, great to have after long days walking around the city and we rarely bumped into anyone else when using it.
Overall, thoroughly recommend staying at Verno House if you are going to Budapest!
