Traditional Japanese home with a possibility to use onsen privately. The hosts treated us with so much care n warmth and pampered us with the lovely home cooked food. We were speechless. I have never experienced this level of hosting anywhere in the world and the traditional Japanese food was to die for. I would definitely visit again.

perfect stay for anyone who wants to experience a ryokan. it was well stocked with amenities, and they even provided a yukata to wear for the onsen! we liked that we could use the onsen privately for 30 minutes max. each time. the host was very warm and welcoming. i was really looking forward to seeing mt. fuji from our room but the weather did not permit unfortunately :( wish we could’ve stayed longer because the weather had cleared up the next day!!!

it was quite difficult to locate the property, especially since we arrived at night in the rain. more obvious signs by the main road would have been very helpful!

Such a kind and heartwarming host, if you're looking to stay in a traditional Ryokan. I highly recommend this place to be your first, especially if you're on a budget. I loved every single moment here. They offer free transfer service as well, but I would recommend getting a car or a bike as well. However, the bus stop is nearby. Finally seeing the views of Fuji from window was just spectacular, they also have a jacuzzi/onsen as well, so if you have tattoos; you have nothing to worry about. To The family that hosted me and took great care off me, thank you for making my Japan trip so special and I hope to see you again ❤️

Breakfast was really good. Fuji san from my room 😊. Onsen all to myself (30min) each session. Room was spacious. Host was really friendly and kind

Excellent food for breakfast and dinner overall! You just had to let them know the day before if you want to have dinner or breakfast and pay a very reasonable price at checkout. The room was very spacious with an amazing view of Mt. Fuji! We loved the tatami floors and the futon.

Very traditional, amazing food, the sweetest host. I loved staying here so much. The original appeal was seeing Mt Fuji in the morning. Nevertheless, we didn't see the mountain all day but it didn't matter because this traditional Inn well and truly made up for it. The absolute highlight accommodation and hospitality for our Japan journey. I can not praise highly enough.

Very friendly hosts, that spoke some English. Lovely location between Lake Yamanaka and Kawaguchiko. Very easy to have private use of the hot baths. Amazing view of Mt Fuji from the window. Room had its own mini fridge with drinks, as well as a lovely Japanese tea set.

It's a very old style property, and the room could have been cleaner. The shower curtain was extremely dusty, and the chairs had a bit of mould .As it's older, you can tell that it is falling a little into disrepair which is a shame, and so it feels not clean. However, I would stay again due to all the positive aspects.
