Very Nice place, idéal location, helpful staff. Good kitchen and enjoyable common spaces. The A/C worked well even if it was noisy (but that is okay as you don't need it at night). We stayed 4 days and recommand this place !
The toilets were a bit smelly.

That there was good wifi, AC, a door person , great location, good atmosphere.
I could not stay longer. Few vegan options for breakfast.

The hostel is beautiful (except the dorm), very colourful. The guests was a bit older than the average hostel crowd, but then again, so am I. Everyone was very nice and friendly, great places to meet other travellers. Downstairs had a lot of places to sit. The roof top would have been such an amazing place to hang out if they put a little more effort in to it. It's only a few chairs there
I stayed in the dorm, not very nice. The beds where fine, but the bathroom was kind of disgusting. Not necessarily dirty, but dark and extremely mouldy. Nowhere to put things. There is one hook, but it's basically useless as nothing stay on the hook. Possibly a leak from the toilet too. There was also a window in the door, so anyone in the room could looked in to the bathroom if they want to. I booked for 2 nights, but left after one night.
The room was right by the street and there is light right outside, so the room will never be dark, it's also quite noisy
The low rate is based on the dorm, not the rest of the hostel. I would have stayed longer if they had a private room available

Location good. Breakfast poor.
Soap only provided. No shampoo. Shower hot to cold - not reliable. Toilet paper not in dispenser, just large roll on back of toilet. Room was clean. Beds were clean. Friendly staff. Difficulty communicating.

It's a beautiful place in an excellent location (right off of Parque Revolucion between the historic centro & Colonia Americano). The cleaning person did an excellent job tidying up our beds & room every day. And the security was very good, also. The bed was comfortable & the room was very clean. The refrigerators in the kitchen were big & operating well.
It is a beautiful place but it just seems a little run-down & tired. There is no hot water from the sink in the wonderfully large kitchen so all of the dishes & utensils are washed in cold water (with soap!). This could lead to health issues in the future. There is hot water in the shower but it only dribbles out of the shower head. The included breakfast every day is so-so coffee (with milk if you want), a loaf of Wonder-type bread with jam & butter, sometimes cut up papaya & 3 different types of cold cereal. That got old very quickly.
There was no paper or magic markers around so people couldn't identify their separate food bins (a small issue).

The property is very colorful and have a Mexican atmosfere. There is a common balcony full of plants. The property is very close to the historical center of Guadlajara.
There is no clean service for your room during your stay, so, if you stay just one night, it is ok. But if you stay longer, as I did, be aware that your room would not be cleaned. Upon arrival, it would also be helpful to receive more detailed information from the reception regarding the property, like how to open the front door.

Location is wonderful very close to the center of Guadalajara. Beautiful inside the hotel very historic!!
Everything was great.

The main receptionist was able to help me as I arrived really late. He put me in another room until the next day, but that’s where I had problems.
The room had a guy who was literally moving house and had about 5 bin bags. It looked really embarrassing however they didn’t do anything, and just gave me a refund when I said I didn’t want to stay there. Really unprofessional in my opinion.

It's a beautiful hostel with convenient location close to the center but still in a quiet street with many little food corners around.
It's very clean and comfortable, we had a large room and cleaning service was provided every day. They also offer a simple breakfast with eggs, toasts, cereals and coffee.
Nice and helpful staff.
The check in process was very hectic, nobody was at the reception desk and it took 10 minutes to open the hostel door although we arrived in the afternoon and ringed the bell a few time. More presence from the staff at reception desk would be appreciated (same for check out nobody was there to receive the keys at 10am, we had to leave them on the counter)

If you are looking for a mexican soap opera like accomodation, this is it🙂 you get the bed and the bathroom, do not expect a luxury or any privacy. As you can hear everything from the patio through the poor door and bathroom window. Also the bathrooms downstairs are built like highschool ones, meaning you have the wall there, but not up to the ceiling, so you can here literally everything what is happening on the other side😂 But despite of that all, if you are staying for few nights only, still great value for the money mainly due to the location. And great mexican style experience🙂
No hot water. Not much privacy. Very poor breakfast, just bread, butter, jam, some cereals and coffee in a cup older than my grandma.

This place exceeded our expectations. Our room was massive and colourful, we were very happy with it, the decoration of the whole place was beautiful! Bed was super comfy. Location was very central and walking distance to everything we had plan to do. It felt like a safe place to stay.
The breakfast was very basic. Coffee, tea, bread and jam. The staff were very nice to cut up some fruit for us. Other guests were quite noisy.

Really really nice and helpful staff! A hostel that feels like home, with a beautiful common area and terrace full of plants. Can recommend it to anyone! Wifi works very well!
No plug next to the bed.

It's a beautiful house and really nicely decorated. The patio and open space is lovely. It's located at walking distance of the main sights in the historic centre.
The room wasn't really comfortable: old furniture and the bathroom door didn't close. The room didn't have a window and it was very noisy because it bordered the patio. The staff did their job ok but wasn't inviting at all. The breakfast is extremely limited.

Good location, in the historic district and only about two blocks from the subway. Good restaurants nearby. Safe area for a single woman. The hostel was attractive; bright colors; only two or four per room. Nice. Price was great. A continental breakfast was included.
Beds were hard and terribly uncomfortable. No AC (apparently not uncommon in Guadalajara), so the room was stuffy at night. But we were on the street side and with traffic, sirens, and barking dogs, leaving the window open at night was not an option. Most of the rooms were inside rooms (no windows) that opened onto a covered courtyard.

I loved the vibe at this guesthouse! The staff are wonderful … especially the incredibly friendly Alfonso and Willi who knew everyone by name!

This guesthouse is located nicely within a 15-minute walk of the historical city center. It’s also just a few minutes from the nearest subway and bus stops. The immediate neighborhood is really cute and worth a wander. There are tons of eateries nearby too. The guesthouse includes a really nice courtyard for socializing and working, but it can get really noisy at times. Rooms are clean and fairly comfortable, although we found the beds to be a little hard.
Guests can be obnoxiously loud in the common areas late at night.

Big room, and good location to have a walk in the surroundings
They don't Respect the Price of Booking, they don't allow pets, and they were dogs, Small Restrooms and bathrooms, they give me free samples of shampoo and no towels, bad breakfast. And too much noise in the morning because they were a construction.

I stayed in maybe the largest room in the place and was very happy there, some of the other rooms are pretty small and simple. The place has a cooking area and some comfortable areas to read or work or chat with others.
It's a simple place. Nothing bad to say.

The location was good, the beds were comfortable, and there's a decent kitchen and fridge
When we arrived the room was filled with bed bugs (we literally saw 5 crawling around when we pulled back the sheet). We complained to staff and they moved us to another (nicer) room with no problem. The first night in that room was okay, but the next night I took a blanket off the other bed in the room - that night we woke up itching, and there were bed bugs in the bed. We told the lady and she just said she'd tell her boss, but nothing was done about it other than the regular room cleaning. If it wasn't for the bed bugs this place would have been nice.

Good location, easy walk to Centro. Banks, supermarkets and cafes are all around. The room was clean and comfortable.
The mosquitoes, I opened my windows by mistake and let the mozzies in. The were living in the pot plants out on the terrace. Hint keep the windows closed and use the air-con.

The location is great for me, close to the center of the city. Easy walking distance to the main bus stop. Staff extra friendly and helpful. The room is comfortable with my own bathroom. The property and rooms are well maintained. The bed was firm but very comfortable. Breakfast is included which is a bonus. I stayed here last year and I liked it so much I decided to return this year.
