AMAZING view, the garden is beautiful & very well maintained. We stayed at a private 2 bedroom villa, seemed quite new and had a beautiful private garden and pool. The one-bedroom villas looked great too (from the outside).

Diving was extremely expensive. Not much to do at this location, Amed is a better choice for restaurants etc

The resort is beautiful and clean. The garden is pretty. The location is a bit isolated but we like it and it's direct in front of ocean.

I paid for 2 BR villa with private swimming pool. We got villa Emma, which is the furthest from beach and any other facilities ( restaurant, bar, common swimming pool ) 1. There is NO INTERNET CONNECTION in Villa Emma, I PAID for it ( at booking.com it said wi fi is available)!!! They can not fix the problem until the end of our stay. It made our the stay was not comfortable at all. We'd have to go to common areas, restaurant and common swimming pool to get a wi fi connection. Why did I pay villa with private swimming pool if we've kept going to common swimming pool for a wi fi connection while relaxing and sun bathing. We came from Singapore and France, no one want to use data roaming from overseas to connect Internet. 2..There was a MICE in the bedroom. On our first night I saw a MICE in one bedroom where my daughter was sleeping. I closed the bedroom before it moved out to other rooms, it was cornered inside. That night was pourring rain, no land phone neither internet connection. My son have walked two times under the rain for help. We wanted hotel staff get rid of that mice. Two staffs arrives after 45-50 minutes, they opened the bedroom door and in one minutes later they announced there was no mice. They could not find it or they do not know how to find it (?).The next morning they asked the gardener to put a mice trap inside...and that's all.....we stayed 3 nights with a possibility a mice ( or more ?) inside bedroom. That's true that we never see another mice there until end of our stay but I don't pay this resort to have an experience eye to eye with a MICE. 3. The staffs are very nice but not helpfull. 4. PADI Scuba diving centre does not have a permanent instructor. So if you want to do a discover scuba diving, you may need to book an instructor few days in advance. In our case we can not dive at Kubu Indah resort, because there was no freelance instructor available.

Peaceful place, beautiful surrounding and garden. We really liked our stay here. On another note. I forgot something with value at the hotel. We contacted them through phone and they where so helpful. We asked them if they can deliver it to our next destination and we will pay for the transport. It was arranged within a few hours and the next morning it arrived at my destination. I 'm super happy with their service!

We’ve had an excellent stay at this resort. After a busy week of travelling we stayed here to relax and dive. The staff is extremely friendly and speak proper English. The food is very good too (even a vegetarian menu). Would very much recommend staying here.

poor customer service, tiny welcome drink, no bottle water in room just small jug of water! no toilet amenities at all. no tea/coffee maker, asked for hot water, must buy. this hotel looks good but is not, its german owned and just is cold. sorry never again

Amazing hotel, amazing view, great food (breakfast, lunch and dinner were great). Clean rooms. Location very good for snorkeling and diving experiences in Tulamben. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

However, we had to leave 1 day earlier than planned due to medical issues. We had to go to Denpasar hospital, but the day after we were going to Ubud anyway, so due to our travel itinerary, it would be easier to go to Ubud/Denpasar earlier, instead of driving 3 hours to Denpasar, back to Tulamben, and then to Ubud. When we wanted to arrange transport from the hotel, they made us pay 750K Rupiah (!!!) for a one way drive to Ubud. That’s 2 hours. The day before, we paid 700K Rupiah for a full day (8hours) including tour at our other hotel. They said it was more expensive, because we booked at the hotel, but the tour we booked the day before, was also booked at the hotel we were staying at then. It felt like they were scamming us for leaving early. They also did not understand that we left early and kept thinking it was because of them, while we really had to leave due to medical issues. It felt like they let us pay so much because we left earlier. We also could not book Gojek or bluebird, because these don’t drive in this area. So transport from the hotel was the only way (we could not find anything available online). We also booked a scuba diving course. At first, we wanted to book at the hotel, but they did not respond. We arrived the evening before diving, so we wanted to have it all arranged. That is why we booked via TripAdvisor instead of the hotel. It felt like this played a role as well. Also, the hotel was so quiet, it felt like we were the only ones there. Maybe due to COVID, I don’t know, but it felt they wanted to get the most money out of us as possible. Wifi doesn’t work. Nothing to complain about the resort itself, the facilities, the food, the view, the rooms etc. That was all excellent.

Villa was great and the food at the restaurant was great. They accommodated our vegan diets which was appreciated. The diving was great however visibility was poor on the first day.

Power went out overnight and the room got up to 35 degrees C. I had to leave the room at 4AM, wake up the security guard, to have them turn the generator on.

Place is amazing staff are so kind feel like we are at home only problem was being vegan had difficulty in my food but still the served good
