Estacionamiento para tres autos. Vecinos tranquilos y amigables. Compras de comestibles a poca distancia (2 cuadras de la ciudad, 1 gran tienda de comestibles y 1 tienda minorista, 7/11, farmacia). Carril en bicicleta a dos parques de la ciudad con piscina pública al aire libre y al centro de la ciudad (15-20 minutos en auto).
En el interior recientemente renovado desde el techo hasta los pisos. Lavandería en el primer piso. La cocina tiene todo para desayunar y cocinar en electrodomésticos bastante nuevos. AC en ambos pisos. Ropa de cama y toallas para hasta 10 personas. 4 habitaciones en el segundo piso. Sofá de cuero y love seat en la sala de estar. Camas: 1 queen, 1 doble, 2 gemelas, 1 futón, 1 cuna, 1dbl colchón de aire de cama alta.
El agua caliente es lo suficientemente caliente. Fontanería actualizada: no hay agua oxidada, drena bien. Wi-Fi gratis. Artículos adicionales disponibles a pedido.
El humilde gato de pelo corto de la familia, Gopher, vive en el sótano, tiene sus propios servicios y una entrada independiente al aire libre para pasear. Loved the home & Gopher the cat. The location of this home was perfect for enjoying the city, many places close by but also easy to navigate to those further away. So glad the owner kept much of the original aspects of this older home. Was a joyous stay! Would stay again.

This is, by far, the most charming and comfortable home we have ever stayed in. The host, Tony, is exceptionally accommodating and friendly. And we LOVE the resident cat, Gopher! We have stayed here before and truly hope to stay here again. It is our home away from home. Thank you, Tony, for a wonderful stay in your beautiful, charming home. We’ll be back soon, I hope!

This was our first experience with VRBO. The house is beautiful and roomy. There are a few things that would have made this stay better; the beds and bedding could be drastically improved. The mattresses, pillows, and bedding should be more like hotel quality. We all come from a hotel hospitality background and realize the importance of a good nights sleep. The blankets varied from wool to sleeping blanket style. The towels provided were few (for 5 females) and not matching. The grass was not mowed but Tony did trim the entrance hedges at our request.
I would like to suggest that no perfume fragrance be used as that was overpowering upon our entrance. We had to open doors and windows to air the house out. The back deck was well used and enjoyed.
We chose this home due to the close proximity to my sisters home. We do travel to Winnipeg often and would consider this home again if the beds etc were improved. Gopher the house cat is a sweetheart and we enjoyed his company. The price was reasonable.

Just want to say that this property was fantastic!! Tony was great and accommodating to all our questions and needs!! It was such a pleasure to stay in your own place with family. Very relaxing, clean and Gopher the cat was great. He is so socialized that if you want him he comes and cuddles. But you also have the option to lock the cat door so he would stay in the basement. The home came equipped with what you would need or forgotten at home. Appliances are up to date. Want to come back in warmer weather when we can enjoy a bbq and the outside.

Fun to stay at a place that had atmosphere and that was not a cookie cutter type house. The place was nice and cute worked great for our girls weekend. Our only complaint was that we were not informed of the cat. They have an outdoor cat on the property that really wants to be inside, and depending on the guests wishes, is allowed in the house. Due to our cat allergies this made us nervous. We did see cat hair on some of the living room furniture. That was mitigated and we were able to enjoy our stay with out sneezing and eye watering.

Grateful for Tony and his well kept house. There were helpful notes all around so we didn’t have to ask Tony too many questions. Gopher enjoyed the company of our little kids and vice versa. We had access to the first floor and the stairs to the second floor, but not the third floor. We enjoyed playing in the snow in the front yard. Would stay again!

A very well equipped kitchen and up to date appliances throughout. The double bed extremely comfortable with firm pillows.
The house is ideally located in a quiet neighbourhood which has mature trees along the streets. There is easy access to the city centre. Never a problem to find parking outside on the street. Being in a lovely treed neighbourhood it is a shame that the diffusion panels on all the windows restrict the view outside as well as the incoming light. Television reception was a bit sporadic!
Overall a good stay and reasonably priced.

We came to Winnipeg to explore the city for a few days and Tony’s house made a comfortable and stylish landing pad. We saw the Museum of Human Rights, the Forks, Lower Fort Garry and the Royal Canadian Mint. It was great to come back to Tony’s place and spread out in all the rooms and spaces available. Tony was super helpful and quick to respond to us. Thanks for rolling out the sunshine for our stay!

Murray and I have been renters of this property previously....in fact in July/August 2019, for our Harrison Family Reunion. So we knew where we were going. This time our stay allowed us a chance to visit family and friends whom we had not seen for some time. We were able to cook up meals for us and visitors, and enjoyed sitting out on the back deck with them. We thoroughly enjoyed Buster, the cat, and he seemed happy with us. We appreciate the attention given to our visit, and the comfort of Tony's House. Thank you.

This was by far the best-kept secret! The house was WONDERFUL....full of character and charm....very cozy, and very well-appointed...Close to everything. The owner was very accommodating and we couldn't have asked for a more affordable and comfortable accommodation. Truly a wonderful experience. And we made a new friend with the cat!

This was by far the best-kept secret! The house was WONDERFUL....full of character and charm....very cozy, and very well-appointed...Close to everything. The owner was very accommodating and we couldn't have asked for a more affordable and comfortable accommodation. Truly a wonderful experience. And we made a new friend with the cat!

I loved that it is a house. It has everything you need like dishes and appliances, 5 to ten min drive from downtown and there's a cat named Gopher who is adorable. The only reason id ever stay anywhere else is if this place is already taken.

Great local stay for the whole family!
We were in Winnipeg for a family wedding. Tony’s house easily accommodated 6 adults. The house was exceptional clean and spacious. We enjoyed the company of Gopher, the resident house cat. We only wish the weather could have been a bit warmer so we could have enjoyed the inviting back deck.

Great place for families
My family of 5 stayed here for a long weekend. We loved it. The house is comfy, the decor is really nice. There was lots of street parking in front, and some private parking in back. We enjoyed eating meals on the back porch, and walking the tree lined streets of the neighborhood. The cat who lives there, named Gopher, was a cute, friendly little chub. My 4 year old loved him. We would absolutely stay here again. It was great.

Poor Neighborhood
While visiting Winnipeg with 4 of my girlfriends, we wanted to stay in a safe place and in the description in states that this home is so we booked it. When we arrived, the neighbors that were on drugs were in the process of kicking out one roomate and they were screaming and cussing all day. Two days later there was a complete blockoff around an apartment complex 2 blocks away with the SWAT team and trucks and at least 20 cop cars all over. Overall, the home itself is lovely and clean, but do not trust that it is a safe neighborhood.

Charming home- quiet neighbourhood
We had a great weekend catching up with our Manitoba friends. Tony’s house was charming and well equipped with everything we could’ve needed. The neighborhood was very quiet and we would not hesitate to stay here again 👍�

Perfect place for our stay
House was clean, rooms were nice, and the neighborhood was a quiet place. The TVs in the living room and the kitchen both don’t work, and that was frustrating, but other than that it was perfect for our stay. The cat was really friendly, and we let him stay upstairs with us all week.
