House was nice. Pool was great. Nice location. Door code did not work, never got fixed. Had to use key for entry.

Beautiful place to stay! We loved that we could walk to all the bars/restaurants/ coffee shops in Gulf Port. House was clean … pool was perfect. We usually try to stay in different places each vacation but it’s hard to not come back here next year ! Will definitely stay here again in the near future!

Overall this is a great place to stay for families or two couples. The house is a short walk to many of the shops, restaurants and bars in Gulfport. The pool is great and the layout of the house, with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, makes it easy for two couples to share or easily a family of six using the sleeper sofa in the front porch area. The decor was fun and very tasteful, and the kitchen area provides enough room to easily cook for a family. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, making it a wonderfully restful retreat.

Loved (almost) everything about our star at the Blue Hen bungalow. The location couldn’t be beat close to everything.. restaurants, music and the beach! Place was roomy, immaculate, fully stocked kitchen, lovely back yard to relax in. Only wish I knew the pool wasn’t heated.

PROS: It was very clean and had great decor (very homey & cozy, soft lighting). The kitchenware was very good as well (silverware/knives & bakeware (but needs liquid measuring cups!)). It was so close to nice shops and the beach, just a short 2-5 min walk. It was next to a small auto-body shop but surprisingly there was hardly any noise coming from there at all. The pool was great and had lots of floats for the kids to play with. CONS: One of the toilets leaked from the bottom (not fun to find out walking around w/o shoes), but they did get a plumber over the next day and it was fixed with no further issues). Needed more blankets! (only 2 blankets for the house (other than the thin bedspreads) so i gave the kids the blankets and used towels on the bed at night). Needs hand soap pumps (it just had cheap bar soap at every sink, so i bought some cheap plastic hand soap pumps). Needs better lighting in the kitchen (couldn't see what you were doing over sink or stove). As with most rentals, it could benefit from plastic food storage bags and close pins to close food in bags.Overall, though, it was a cute little house that we enjoyed staying in!

We absolutely loved our house. The space was clean and cute and beachy. It felt relaxed and casual, but still very nice. I think maybe tranquil is the right way to describe it. The pool was really just the best. We were in it, or by it pretty much all day. And we were so happy with the location. All the Gulfport shops and coffee shops, and restaurants were less than a block away - we walked everywhere! Every one of us would go back in a heartbeat.

The house is on the main road that leads to the beach and there are little unique shops and restaurants on both sides of the street along the way. The house was perfect for our family of 4. It was updated and had everything we needed. We spent most days in the pool, which was amazing! The kids loved the rafts. And when we decided to venture out, St. Pete Beach was only a 10 minute drive. We will definitely look into booking this house again!

We enjoyed the property a lot. The pool area was a special treat. The house had everything we needed. The location is perfect. We especially liked walking to the main street to visit shops and restaurants. Shout out to the Gulfport Brewery. Be sure to stop in! We plan to return in 2023.

Spacious and clean, well equipped property with a very nice outdoor space. Restaurants and shops in walking distance and delightful Farmer’s Market. We hope to return again.

Property was located right near all the shops and restaurants. House had everything we needed and yard/patio were private. Unfortunately a bit too cool to use the lovely pool.

Communication with owner or relator was awful. Requested a pool heater twice and was told it was my responsibility. Have fun trying to get a hold of someone to do this.

The private backyard pool was the reason we chose this place and it was so icey cold it was unusable. Very disappointing. Stingy on the toilet paper. If there had been three of us we would have had to go buy some. And the neighbors are noisy. Garage on one side playing music and house on the other side. It would probably be appealing to many for it’s quaintness and vicinity to shops and restaurants, but we like peace. We won’t be returning to Blue Hen Bungalow.

The house and location are great, better even than the photographs suggest. Whilst the street outside is quiet, there are many shops/restaurants right around the corner and the water is only a couple blocks further away. Inside, the house has been thoughtfully designed and feels spacious. Appliances are new and work well. And the pool is fantastic! We were not able to use the grill area as there is no lighting outside (?!). Small issues would be the quality of the mattresses – poor – and the linens felt cheap. The property is really wonderful, despite the sense that the management company is intent to keep costs down.

The blue Hen Bungalow was just great. It felt welcoming as soon as you opened the door. The whole house was clean clean clean. Comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen and a beautiful outdoor space. Location was great - so close to the little delights that Gulfport had to offer. And in easy access to St. Pete’s and a short hop over to Sarasota. Would recommend this delightful property highly.

It was a great, relaxing girls' trip. We really enjoyed floating in the pool and just hanging out. We tried many of the bars and restaurants in Gulfport and nearby St Pete Beach and all of them were great. The house was very clean and centrally located. Would definitely go back again.

Where do I start.. my family and I flew in from the western ny which included 4 adults and 2 children. One adult was a disabled elder. I called management more than a week in advanced to see if we could check in 1.5hrs early and was told to call the day of check in to see. I called when we got off the plane and asked if we could check in **1/2 HOUR EARLY** and was told no because cleaning staff was still there!!! As soon as we opened the door the house smelled similar to a wet basement. We found dust bunnies and grass in corners, long stands of hair on the couch, food stains on the table runner, stains on the couch, makeup on the pillows, poor draining in the main bathroom sink and tub, dingy rugs that looked like they should have been replaced a long time ago, and some kind of spilled food stains on the coffee table that took a wipe to clean up. We spent the first day and then some washing the sheets and blankets to make sure they were clean! Considering Covid and the safety promises that are made because of it, this house was unacceptable regardless but ESPECIALLY during a pandemic. We contacted the company right away and they offered to send the cleaner back out but traveling all morning with elders and kids that was not an option for us!!! When we sent them pictures of all of the issues they told us they would refund us one night. The best parts of this property were the backyard and the bathroom off the kitchen! The kitchen was also stocked well! I would not stay again or recommend to someone.
