Maravillosa casa situada en el pantano con increíbles vistas de la vida silvestre y acres de marismas visibles desde la sala de estar o terraza. Excelentes vistas de Bald Head Creek hasta el río Cape Fear. Arroyo de aguas profundas para facilitar el acceso en bote. Disfrute de kayak, canotaje, pesca y pesca de cangrejos con los niños desde el muelle privado del vecindario conectado a la casa por un paseo marítimo. Enjoyed once again another fun trip to Bald Head Island. The place was great. My only complaint would be the cleanliness. I noticed some cobwebs in the main living areas and there were gnats flying around along with two roaches we killed and one already dead (so 3 total). It didn’t stop us from enjoying our little vacation though and we would come back. (This is our second time Staying at this location. )

Have stayed in this property previously with no issues Nov. 2019. This visit however noted upstairs bedroom with shower curtain mold and Master shower were moldy on arrival, stale mold smell upstairs, coffee pot filthy with residue, floor dirty with dust/hair, refrigerator dirty on check in, light bulbs out kitchen and bedroom, one golf cart with no functioning headlights, bed linens disheveled in twin bedroom underneath dirty white bedspreads at check in, pillow yellow when pillow case removed, glass pitcher with broken sharp edges in kitchen pantry, totally dissatisfied for this second visit to this property. It does have a great location and view which is why our family rented to be close to wedding chapel. We will NOT rent this property again NOR use this same management team. Mangement was notified of several issues at checkin. Pictures taken of the issues identified. I request our rental fee be refunded.

There were a few minor difficulties nothing major. First the thermostat was locked, and the house was on the cool side. BHI had to contact the owner to unlock the thermostat. that only took a couple of hours. Then we took a golf cart to the beach which died on the way. It did manage to get a couple of miles from the house. Just a short walk back to retrieve the other one. Sorry to say was not any better. We were given a loaner which also died a couple of miles from the house and had to be left by the side of the rode also. Once we worked thru that everything else was very enjoyable.

The unknown stuff on the pillowcases or bed sheet that caused skin irritation and red spots. Too much detergent residue? Needs maintenance, like window shade cord that won't adjust, shampoo not provided, small things, but for vocational rentals they should be there.

Great location close to lighthouse and marina area, enjoyed the marsh view and community dock. The large round dining table and living room sitting area was comfortable for everyone to hang out. Thankfully, everything was in great shape after Hurricane Ian just passing through.

The location on BHI is amazing - great deck with marsh view. Access to kayaks was wonderful. We have stayed on BHI many times and this was one of our favorite houses. Plenty of room and great main space and deck for puzzling and hanging out

We've stayed in a lot of places on BHI but this may be our new go to home. This is a strange thing to praise but it's the first time we've never had an issue with a golf cart...or both carts on a trip. That said, we had no issues at all and everyone had a fabulous time.

Can't say much beyond the other reviews. Really great rental on the marsh with a wonderful view from the back deck; I spent most my time out here enjoying the view. I highly recommend.

Nice house and great location for access to the marsh. BHI Services was great in attending to the issues. The four seat golf cart definitely needs replacing, but we were accommodated with a rental. The kayaks could stand replacing too since they are advertised as a feature. Cleanliness was not up to standard, but we realize that service industries are are critically short staffed right now. We were able to deal with necessary issues and didn't let them hinder our great time at a great location. We really did enjoy the house and it's view of the marsh. The deck is a perfect place to start and end lovely days!

Had a great time and lots of stuff for the kids. Fish, kayaked, crabbed and explored the marsh daily. Three beaches to choose from and always could find ideal conditions. BHI conservancy had lots of excursions but they book up quickly and wish we would have reserved some earlier! I would visit and stay there again!

Arrived at 4:30(check in is anytime after 4)… Housekeeing still there… towels still being washed. Dirty dishes in dishwasher… stated owners didn’t leave on time…so yeah, I got to do the cleaning. Golf cart plug frayed—no lights on the golf cart. Very very dangerous. Check out is supposed to be 10am.. Housekeeping showed up at 9:30 and asked us to Leave so they could start early…. What the heck?? Island is no longer quiet…. There are literal trucks and construction all over. Bald heaD club… impossible to get to pool. Sadly what has been Relax and safe place for many years has become completely overrun, oversold the grocery store is literally picked over and a quagmire .

Loved this place. Housekeeping was very slow but after the initial slow start, everything was perfect. Best place for our family is this house and location. Right on the marsh, we love to kayak had gorgeous views of the sunset from the deck, used the paddleboard and two golf carts. We rented bikes for the week and it could not been better!! I would highly recommend eating in, the restaurants did not have enough waiters and we’re very slow. Buy the local seafood, so good and the kitchen was plenty stocked with pots and pans, though bring your own wine opener. Beds were also very comfortable!

We had issues first with golf cart batteries needing to be replaced and then the following day, a golf cart tire blowout.The kitchen was poorly supplied with cookware (pans and bowls).It was very annoying to not be able to adjust the thermostat. The weather was nice and we would have opened the doors and windows however the heat stayed on.

Perfectly comfortable accommodations and exactly as pictured. Location on marsh with kayaks included in rental provided additional activity compared to beachfront rentals. Nice for each of our kids to have their own room, and dog-friendly made it the perfect place to stay!

We loved Lighthouse Landing 11! The house is very clean, has all the necessary amenities, and a beautiful deck with a great view back towards the marina. It is very close to both the market and the marina for convenience, as well.

This is a wonderful house with an amazing view. We loved being able to put the house's kayaks and our personal paddle board into the gorgeous marsh daily. My kids and our dog loved swimming and crabbing off the deck. We actually caught enough Blue Crab to eat. Good fishing spot too. The house is very close to the marina so check out day was very easy. I can't really think what would make this house better. The photos are very accurate as is the description. We had a great time and would rent again. We had a few household issues that were taken care of promptly and likely due to typical wear and tear of a beach house. The repair service was quick, friendly and prompt and did not compromise our trip in any way.

Loved the house although the location was a little further from the beach than expected. Also there was issues with the golf cart for the whole week. BHI did respond quickly to our issues, however, we had three different golf carts. And ended up having to push one of them from South Beach, the next one we went night riding and the headlights went out, and the last one they brought us the headlights were not centered which made it harder to see at night.

Beautiful house and location. Only concerns, sink in upstairs hall bath stopped up. Called office about trash pickup. Golf cart flat tire. Got answers for most questions and repaired right away. Will stay here again when going to BHI. Loved riding around on golf carts on island. There for July 4 week. Could see fireworks from our deck.

The house is clean and well kept. Our family loved staying on the marsh side of the island. Adding fishing, crabbing, and kayaking to the other beach activities kept everyone busy. A couple of updates to the interior and golf carts that weren't falling apart or breaking down and we would have given the rental a 5 out 5.

We have been coming to Bald Head for 30 years and have rented many houses, all with ocean views. We decided to rent 11 Lighthouse Landing because of the configuration and because we could bring our dog, but we anticipated " settling" as far as view. We were very wrong. The view is spectacular over the marsh and looking toward the harbor. We all agreed we preferred it to the ocean view. The house itself is lovely, well equipped, and well maintained. Beds are very comfortable. Location is great- close to harbor, club, lighthouse and within easy drive to ocean. We were a multigenerational group- grandparents, young parents and a toddler. The configuration of the house was perfect. The toddler could nap on the third floor while we hung out on the main floor with no worry of waking him. We will certainly rent this house again!

Our family of 6 had a great stay at 11 Lighthouse Landing. The views were great and the house was very nice. We wish we could have stayed longer. Bald Head has become one of our favorite places to vacation. The house was very clean and spacious. We hope to return next year. It was also nice to be able to take our little dog, who loved running on the beach and chasing the frogs at night.

Rented this house for my son’s wedding, everything about it was perfect. The location made the weekend run very smoothly. The house was clean, comfortable, well equipped, and even had a kayak which was an added bonus. It was relaxing sitting on the porch, in the morning with a cup of coffee, or evening with a glass of wine, taking in the fabulous view overlooking the marsh watching the abundant bird life: kingfishers, ibises, egrets, herons, ospreys and more. Wish I had binoculars to see them up really close! The owners were very helpful answering questions promptly. Would definitely rent this house again!
