En la familia durante muchos años y lo alquila a cabo cuando no estamos allí. Hay una gran nueva sociedad de la película a menos de una milla de distancia con buenas películas nocturnas.

My friend and I spent a week. The weather was not the best but we still enjoyed watching the ferries, sailboats and yachts go by. The location was great and the deck was wonderful. The inside is as described and could use some TLC but it had everything we needed. Franny was a good host and communicated as needed.

The cottage reminded us of our family's 1930's vintage lake cottage. It brought back special memories for us. It was perfectly located for all that we wanted to see and do on Martha's Vineyard. For us, being away from the congestion of summer tourists in Edgartown was a definite plus. It is a five-minute drive from downtown Vineyard Haven where we found cute shops and great restaurants. The views of the harbor were wonderful. Literally, the cottage was feet from the bay.

This year was our 5th stay at this wonderful little cottage. Our week here is one of the things that everyone in our family looks forward to all year long! We had a great time (as always!) With how busy life can be, this is truly the perfect ‘escape’ for us! It’s in a perfect location, right between Vineyard Haven & Oak Bluffs so you’re minutes away from both. We love exploring new parts of the island as well as being able to unplug from much of the day to day, and just sit out on the deck, grill, play games, and enjoy our private little stretch of beach. The house is always clean and stocked with the essentials. And Franny is so nice and helpful, should anything ever be needed. Sitting out on the deck in the evening is one of the nicest sunsets we’ve seen!

We loved Franny's property! It was a perfect cottage for our family! The beach out front had the most amazing sunsets and the cove behind the house was my kiddos favorite place to play during our stay. It was a great location - close to both downtown VH and OB. The house was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Frannie was great with communication and made every just so easy. We would absolutely stay again!

We had a really nice time on the island. The house was just what we expected with a beautiful view. Franny was very helpful and we loved the little touches that were added to the house to make us feel welcome.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property which we rented so that we could attend a wedding. It was a perfect location just outside of town with beautiful beach views of the ferries and boats that traveled the sound. Frannie was the perfect host and always responded promptly when we had a question. The cottage is small yet it fits 6 comfortably and is well equipped for preparing meals. The deck has ample seating for those nice weather days. We would definitely stay here again if the opportunity presents itself.

The cottage was exactly as described. Perfect location. Beautiful to hang out and hear the waves crash and the sunset. Easy walk into town. Great new washer and dryer as well as stove. We loved it and we hope to return ❤️

As Frances clearly states, this is NOT a fancy property. It is, however, clean and stocked with everything you need. The deck and views are incredible and if you like to spend a lot of time outdoors, then this is the place for you. We slept with the windows open and it was wonderful to have the waves lull you to sleep and wake you up in the morning. Communication and response to questions was prompt. This was my retirement trip and when we arrived Frances had left me a nice note and some candy congratulating me on my retirement, What a sweet gesture.

This was our 4th time staying at this wonderful little cottage. I really can’t say enough nice things about it and Franny! The house is clean and always stocked with the essentials. Open the window to the ocean, fall asleep to the waves or see some of the nicest sunsets. It’s in a perfect location, right between Vineyard Haven & Oak Bluffs so you’re minutes away from both. Easy to check out the island or just stay home and enjoy your own private stretch of beach just off the deck. Nothing like grilling on the deck while the kids play on the beach just steps away.
Our week at the cottage is truly one of our favorite weeks of the year. And Franny is always friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Our yearly trip to MV and stay at the cottage is one of the things that everyone in our family looks forward to all year long!

We loved our stay at this property on Beach Road. It was so nice sitting on the back deck watching the sailboats and ferries and admiring the sunset. We used the outdoor shower a lot and it was amazing. This house is not fancy (which is fine with us) but it has everything you need. We cooked many dinners and were able to walk or bike to Vineyard Haven or Oak Bluffs. The bus goes right past the house so we took the bus one day to Edgartown and it was very easy and convenient. Thanks for a great week in MV!

We wanted a short getaway to celebrate my birthday. This house was exactly what we were looking for. It’s close to everything but very private and peaceful and absolutely beautiful. Every view you see the ocean. All you can hear are ocean waves. It’s perfect. A hidden gem. Never thought I’d be able to rent a place on the water on Martha’s Vineyard. Thank you!

We walked into Vineyard Haven our first day, and the road to East Chop along the coast is good for a walk or run. We were also happy just hanging out on the deck watching the boats go by. The house is not fancy, but it is clean, and everything works. (With good water pressure!) There is an abundance of towels in the upstairs closet, and games downstairs for rainy days or evenings. Franny is a very responsive host and clearly wants her guests to enjoy the place. We would come back!

The house is located on the water and is very peaceful. Waking up to the seagulls talking and the sound of swooshing water was amazing. The house is equipped with all you may need.

This our third summer renting from Franny and it was another fantastic week. The location of the house is perfect, we love being right on the beach. And the drive to Vineyard Haven or Oak Bluffs is quick and easy. We are so sad to leave!

This was our second time staying in Franny's place. We love the location because it had its own beach and is also just across the street from the lagoon beach. It is also convenient to Oak Bluffs and Vineyard Haven. The place is cozy and homey. There were six of us staying in the house. Each bedroom has a fan, which came in handy on warm nights. We would recommend this place and hope to rent again soon!

The listing is spot on. A charming little house right on the beach with beautiful sunset views. A short drive into Oak Bluffs or Vineyard Haven. Across the street there is access to the lagoon with a nice sand bar for little kids. My kids liked the lagoon even more than the ocean! We were pleasantly surprised to find the house stocked with amenities like toilet paper, paper towels, linens, towels and condiments, not something we usually see when we rent on the Island. Finally, the owner was very accessible and eager to answer questions and went out of her way to make our stay enjoyable.

The cottage was homey and sweet. I felt very at home. When the weather got crazy, the owner was easy and accessible to communicate with. Just as perfect for a good read in the rain as a sunny day on the porch.

My wife and I enjoyed a wonderfully relaxing getaway on the Oak Bluffs-Vineyard Haven line allowing for ocean vistas steps from the back door, run to town followed by breakfast at Art Cliff Diner. Great to hear the ocean while sleeping at night!

You can hardly get much closer to the water than by staying in this Vineyard home. The house is small and old-fashioned, but that makes it all the more charming. Bring your water shoes for the rocky beach and enjoy the beautiful water morning, noon, and night! Fall asleep and wake up to the sounds of the lapping waves right outside your window. The house is conveniently located near both Oak Bluffs and Vineyard Haven. We definitely want to return!

This trip was perfect! we loved where the house was located (on the water) and the house had everything needed! We didn't have any complaints with it! It was very comfortable and relaxing and all in all, one of the best vacations we have had in a while!

You wake up to the sound of the waves hitting against the shore. Enjoy the most spectacular sunsets the island has while you dine and relax on the back deck.
Steps away from local, quiet beach where you can collect beautiful crystals, seashells, and rocks or just swim and relax. For a more private scene, the lagoon beach area across the road is less than a 2 minute walk and kids LOVE exploring the lagoon and enjoying the sand bar. Comfortable outside shower, right outside back door. While the parking can be a bit tricky, there is ample room for a large vehicle. Relaxing all around!

The fact that it is waterfront is this rentals best feature. It is very small inside and quite dated. There is nowhere to park more than one car, and the one parking space is very tricky to get into off the main road.
