We had an amazing weekend swimming, boating, grilling and roasting marshmallows in the firepit. The house is lakefront with plenty of parking for multiple cars. Inside its spacious and clean with fully stocked kitchen. We would gladly come back for a longer stay.

Plenty of room for everyone in the family (6) and a dog. I like the location it's away from all the boats and jets ski's, so if you like to fish like we do it's perfect. We caught some nice ones. Joe is a great host, he is there to answer any questions.

The Lake Escape was everything we expected and more. The house is located on the calmer/quieter side of the lake which allowed us to enjoy the lake and walkways without boat and car traffic. The house was set up perfectly for our needs - plenty of space to enjoy family time , but then a seperate area on the lower level for our adult children to have some privacy and enjoy the hot tub and pool table. The area offers plenty of entertainment within walking distance. We took advantage of the golf car rental and it was worth every penny! The hosts were amazing to work with and responded quickly with any questions we had - which were very few because he provided us with everything before we arrived. Highly recommend !!

The host (Joe) was absolutely great. Wonderful communication prior to the stay as well as during the stay to arrange Amazon delivery and some landscaping. The property is at the north end of the lake but a short walk to Split Rock lodge and a short drive to town for Nick's, Shenanigans and breakfast places. Hiking trails are also very close and range from easy to moderate - very good for all ages.. But, to repeat, Joe (the host) was great - you will love him!

We had such a great time at the Lake Escape this past week with our entire family. We loved the break from the hustle bustle and enjoyed the boating and easy walking around the community. At night, enjoyed being at the campfire down by the lake and having s’mores with the family.

Great communication with owner who proactively connected prior to our trip and during. The house was fantastic - super close and easy drive to JFBB slopes, magnificent lake view, space for our party of 9 comfortably and all the amenities helped make the weekend enjoyable (clean large hot tub, pool table and lower floor was perfect for the kids!). Fantastic lake view located on a quiet side of the water. Close to ski resorts. Fully functional kitchen for preparing family style meals with a nice big dining table by a gas fireplace. The pool table in a first floor rec room was a nice addition.

The location of the house was great and the view was amazing. The house had everything we needed but we were uncomfortable with the comforters on the beds because they seemed to be dirty; especially the one on the king bed. Besides that we will recommend the house to our friends.

The lake house was nice and clean. Communication was great and we especially enjoyed the deck and the dock with multiple kayaks and other small boats. The pool table was also big hit. Only little issue is the size of the beds in two rooms. I’m sure it would be fine for children but tough for 10 adults.

Stayed here for the week celebrating our sons high school graduation with some of his friends before leaving for college. Everything was perfect from the beginning and exactly as promised. Stayed here for a long weekend celebrating our friends last hurrah before she gets married this fall. The house was exactly as listed and came with everything needed for a fun activity filled weekend on the lake! Joe was super communicative and helped us with any questions we had during our stay. We enjoyed our time at this pet friendly home in such a pretty location. Joe was an accessible, responsive, and gracious host, providing great communication and information prior to our visit. We enjoyed the kayaks and rowboat every day. We were pleasantly surprised by the thoughtful and unique welcome gift!

We enjoyed our vacation at Joe's lake house. The property is in a very quiet neighborhood. We created so many fun memories and had a great time enjoying the lake. Having the kayaks, paddle boat and rowboat are definitely a plus.

From booking to check in to check out everything was fantastic. We had a group of six adults and the house was absolutely perfect. There’s a designated fire pit area right on the lake a beautiful deck that overlooks the lake and the house was clean from top to bottom. All of the electronics gas fireplaces worked as advertised. Simply put we’ll be going back.

Had a long weekend with family. It was wonderful and very relaxing to be able to get away and spend time together. Joe was GREAT! He was very responsive to any questions or concerns. We loved the location of this property. Unfortunately we did not have the best weather, but I would seriously consider revisiting in the future. Plenty of hikes near by and the paintball fields were a blast.

We enjoyed a fabulous weekend at Lake Escape! The home was clean and had everything we needed to relax and decompress. This lake front property had three kayaks and a peddle boat with a private dock. (With an attached ladder for easy access.) We spent the majority of our time on the lake and around the fire pit. This dog friendly property was a perfect enticement to convince our adult children to join us and make some family memories. Owners were accommodating and helpful. We plan on visiting again.

We enjoyed a quiet and relaxing stay at the end of summer at the JoKi Lake Escape. The home has all the amenities that you need with plenty of space. We enjoyed using the kayaks, fire pit and grill, as well as the pool table on the one rainy day. Joe was just a text away and reached out to ensure our arrival was okay and the home was ready for us, which it absolutely was. Highly recommend!
