This property is a nod to old New England vacationing. We appreciated meeting the owner on his daily stroll. I liked that the property had plenty of activities, and everything was within walking distance. We recently stayed at a quaint vacation rental cabin that offered a cozy studio space with a TV, and hotel room conveniences with a small bathroom. Although the cabin had no kitchen or heating, the cleaner gave us extra blankets. I imagined the air conditioning would make it comfortable in the summer. Pack like you are camping with beach access if you stay in unit 4. I wish there were a clothesline or clarity on where to hang things. The location was convenient, just a 5-minute drive to the beach, where we spent most of our days. We ate out every day. I wish the cabin had a bathroom door that extended the entire wall length. Overall, it was a pleasant stay despite a few minor inconveniences. We plan to return in the future.

The property was as advertised and had everything we needed for our stay. Quite a few activities and places to eat were in walking distance which was great! Very short drive to beaches and so close to other towns like Barnstable & Dennis to explore, we had a wonderful mini vacation.

Cabin VERY small: No living room, no chairs, NO closets; no room cleaning in 2 weeks, clean bath towels NOT delivered !
BIGGEST COMPLAINT : cabin was INFESTED WITH LITTLE RED ANTS which were on bathroom sink, got into clothing, into laptop, on kitchen table and several counters.

Yarmouth Country Cabins was in a great location- it was also quiet and peaceful at night. Lots of beaches nearby and great breakfast spots! I would highly recommend picking up breakfast sandwiches from the Lightkeeper's Pantry!

I loved my stay at Yarmouth Country Cabins. My cabin had everything I needed for a relaxing getaway. The location is great - near beaches, hiking, biking, shopping. Would definitely stay here again.

We looked for quite some time for a place to have a relaxing vacation. This was perfect. So much to do nearby. We also did multiple activities on the property. Very clean and had all we needed.

Convenient place for a short stay. A little musty but clean. Owner was very nice and responsive.

Owner was great at communicating and even upgraded us to a larger cottage with an outdoor shower. The property was cute and has a fire pit and common areas to hang out. The location is on busy route 28 so it is difficult to turn out of the property and the property was difficult to find when driving by (need to look for the big bear statue, no signage). Overall very happy with our stay and would stay again.

Good location in the cape to access many things! The property is quaint and cozy. We especially enjoyed the screened in porch to relax and be outside.

The cabin was very clean and cozy, the communication with the management was very exceptional. Everything was as it was described.
Check in and out was done completely online through VRBO. We were very happy with the rental and would recommend YCC to anyone.

The property is fantastic- clean, lots of activities. It was never too loud. Cabin 4 is verrrry small, but it had everything we needed. We did find out the hard way not to leave food on the counter- we had a little mouse visitor in the night, but it's an old cabin in the woods, so that's to be expected. Audrey was pleasant and easy to communicate with, and Sparky was a delight. The cabins are within walking distance of some great restaurants. I'd recommend 908 Bistro to anyone, and we had a great breakfast at The Pancake Man. We loved being close to the beach, and within an easy drive of all the best sights on Cape Cod. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Relaxing just what we wanted

It was a very easy process to book. The check in was even easier. Check out was a breeze. The property was well maintained. We had a bond fire each night. We where close to many attractions and in walking distance to shops and restaurants.

Very nice pool . A quiet place to stay and relax. We played Bocce and the guys played horseshoes. Only fault we could find was the fridge in our cottage badly needed defrosting. I have to go back there Tuesdays to return some sheets we took by mistake.

Great little spot on the Cape, however all the amenities listed online were not available. The pool was not open, not approved by the local health department. The outdoor games were not available and in bad shape. The cabin needed to have the screen repaired and the cable box was missing, all issues were resolved quickly by the elderly gentlemen on site.
I just think they were not ready for the season, peak time was in another couple of weeks.

The grounds could have definitely used a lot of cleaning it looks like it could have been a wonderful place at one point maybe a little more effort into the grounds as far as the lawn chairs the playground was all very dirty. The pool was beautiful again the furniture old and a bit dirty. We were told we were allowed to have guests during the day and since my family lives so close that was the reason we stayed there. The owner who is about 80 years old and definitely set in his ways was nice enough but throughout this day he drove around and made you feel like you were being watched by a principal. My dog got out of the Log Cabin screen door because he heard my voice and it came running up into the pool area. The day before there was a big lab off a leash at the pool the entire day so I didn't know no dogs were allowed in the pool area. Instead of explaining the rules he was very rude and

The mattress and the pillows hasn’t been replaced since the 80s, very uncomfortable. No counter space, shelves or towel racks in the bathroom. No hot water , the shower was a very small stall, you have to hold the shower head to shower. The toilet is shoved up against the sink. Absolutely no room, constantly hitting the wall or the sink. Rodents and ants got into our cabin and ate our food.

It smelled so musty. The shower was terrible, too small and you have to use the handle to shower. The cabin is too small. I was not happy at all

Overall the stay was great, just what we needed. I would suggest investing in a real working shower, it would make things a lot more nicer/easier.
