This was the perfect house for our group. We had many laughs and had some great memories. Our party consisted of 10 women ranging from 27-70 on a girls weekend getaway. The house accommodated all 10 of us easily. 4 full bathrooms and a 1/2 bath meant no one had to wait long. The house was clean, the deck was wonderful and we spent most of our time outside enjoying the beautiful weather. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, plates, etc needed to make breakfast and we grilled one night for our dinner. After dinner we roasted marshmallows over there fire pit for dessert. The showers were hot and had terrific water pressure. I can’t speak for all the beds but mine was comfortable and I felt well rested. The location was amazing. Every morning some of us (and the last day all of us) walked the short walk to the beach to watch the sunrise. It was an amazing weekend and we would happily stay again.

The home we stayed in accommodated our family of 11, which includes eight adults and three grandchildren. It was cozy and spacious with plenty of kitchen essentials for cooking. It’s just a short walk to the beach, which was amazing!

Me and my friends absolutely loved our stay at Whale of a Time. It’s the perfect location for a relaxing weekend, the neighborhood is beautiful for walks and access to the beach. The screened in porch was our favorite spot of the house along with the common area/den! The house, although very spacious had a homey vibe to it. And the landlords were wonderful, sent helpful tips and were quick to respond to questions! Couldn’t recommend this place more!

We've loved our IOP house! Inside the Wild Dunes Resort, very clean, very spacious, a short walk to the beach. We found plenty of beach gear in the garage - chairs, boards, toys, a couple of umbrellas. Communication was great, we checked in very late but going through the gates couldn't have been easier. Highly recommended!

We had a great long weekend at Whale of a Time. The beach was a quick 10 minute walk. The house fit all 10 of us comfortably. The kitchen had everything we needed. The smoke detector in one room started beeping, they sent someone immediately to fix. Communication with property management company was quick and easy. It was the perfect weekend.

Just returned from a wonderful vacation at Whale of a Time home. Very nicely decorated and fully equipped kitchen. Comfortable bedrooms. The screened-in porch was a lovely respite. Easy 10 minute walk to the beach. The property managers, Steven and Sarah, were attentive and responsive to any questions we had. Overall, a great time at was had by all.

It was a perfect home for a mother daughter beach trip. Very clean and comfortable! We will be back!

We stayed at Whale of Time for a girls weekend in April! It was the PERFECT space for all 9 ladies! The King master upstairs was stunning and all the other rooms were updated and beautiful! The living and dining space was perfect for a large crowd to gather and enjoy our time together! The 5 minute walk to the beach was gorgeous and we lucked out with great weather!! We went downtown one evening for dinner and it took no more than 25 min- Uber picked us up without issues!! We also walked the 10 min to the Wild Dunes 'downtown' and had lunch and drinks by the pool. Steven and Sarah were amazing at communications and answered all our questions before we even had time to think of any! Great hosts with a beautiful home!

This is a great home for a large group or two families. It was actually larger than we needed as our original reservation was cancelled at the last minute due to some legal action with the property. This was the only place available during the same time frame and location, so we jumped on the opportunity. Everyone was pleased with the accommodations and we were happy not to have to disappoint the family. Instead… it may be hard for them to accept staying in any other place when visiting Isle of Palms. Thanks for sharing your great home with others.

Stayed here with 11 friends and had a fantastic time. The house is large - 10 beds. Great large deck! Utilized the beach chairs and umbrellas for a 10 minute walk to the beach! Easy access to golf courses. Great communication with the owners. Highly recommend!

Beautiful property, even better than the pictures. Huge deck and screened porch, comfortable furnishings; our gardening reunion group had a fabulous time!

This property was situated in a nice community. The house does back to the road so if you are outside or in the screened porch area you will get some road noise. (This isn't bad - but you can hear it- only outside. Never heard any noise while in the house.) The kitchen was well stocked with basically any type of cooking or baking dish needed. There were lots of separate sitting areas within the main living room which gave everyone an opportunity to be together but do their own thing if that's what they wanted. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. We would book again!!

Absolutely loved the house and our stay in Charleston SC. It is a beautiful and classy location. Everything we hoped it would be. Kids were a little disappointed with the living room tv set up (one channel and dvd not connected) but adults didn’t notice. Would highly recommend.

This property was wonderful! It was clean, spacious, well-appointed—just beautiful. The location was great—close to the beach and to downtown Charleston. It was private and astonishingly quiet. Even with Hurricane Ian putting a crimp in our plans, we had a great time

After 42 years, a small group of friends reconnected in IOP. The house was the perfect size and space for a reunion while providing everyone their own private space. Meals, games, puzzles, the beach.... All highlights!

Loved the layout of this home! So much room in living spaces to spread out w plenty of seating for everyone. House was fully stocked w EVERYTHING you could ask for. Outdoor space was spacious and the screened porch w big-screen TV & lots of seating was awesome (weather was too hot for us to enjoy the outdoor space this trip). Location was perfect for beach & bike trails. Hosts typically responded to every request w/n 30 mins. Highly recommend!!

The house, was clean, inviting and very spacious. Our families hadn't gathered for years, and the comfort offered was spot on. Plenty of room to cook our meals, and the grill was used too. Very comfortable beds, and clean bathrooms for all. I can't think of anything that needed improvement. Thanks for a great stay!!

A lot of fun for 11 people. A good range of cooking pots and pans, mixing bowls, baking dishes, dinnerware available. About 30 beach towels and lots of beach toys.

My family and our friends family had a wonderful time at Whale of a Time property. We rented an LSV which made getting around the Wild Dunes resort and IOP so easy. We loved the property location and amenities within the resort. The property itself was wonderful! We really enjoyed the screened in porch and enjoyed seeing many wildlife visitors. Steps can be a little tricky at night with every other being lighted so be careful. Overall, we loved this property and the island.

Check in was easy and managed through iTrips where all necessary information was located. Arrived to a clean house with everything we needed. Location is amazing as the house feels secluded but is only a quick walk away from the boardwalk area. 10/10 would recommend staying here!
