I recently had the pleasure of staying at Holiday Apartments, Polynikis Sea-Cret, in the serene village of Pachyammos on the stunning coast of Greek Cyprus, and I cannot express my gratitude enough to the incredible hosts. My main motivation for this getaway was to escape the hustle and bustle of city life, seeking calmness and a connection with nature. Pachyammos turned out to be the perfect haven for just that. Nestled in this tiny village, the Holiday Apartments provided a warm and welcoming atmosphere from the start. Arriving in late November 2023, I found the beach adjacent to the property to be a vast and secluded paradise. The clean sea water was inviting, and I relished the luxury of having the entire beach to myself. The enormity of the beach coupled with the absence of crowds created a tranquil setting for unwinding. The highlight of my stay was undoubtedly the national park trails leading to the majestic mountains. Hiking and climbing rewarded me with breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. The sheer beauty of the scenery, coupled with the crisp, fresh air, made for an unforgettable experience. The solitude and tranquility at the mountain's peak allowed me to connect with nature in a way that I had long yearned for. The local people of Pachyammos added to the charm of the place. Their warmth and hospitality enhanced my overall experience, making me feel like a welcomed guest rather than a tourist. As a nature lover, this destination exceeded my expectations. The place provided a comfortable and cozy retreat after days filled with exploration. The nights were equally enchanting, with a beautiful starlit sky enhancing the overall ambiance. I extend my heartfelt thanks to the hosts for their kindness and hospitality. If you're seeking a place to reconnect with nature, unwind, and experience the genuine warmth of the local community, this hidden gem on the coast of Greek Cyprus is an absolute must-visit!

If I had to dig deep for something to nitpick about my stay, it would be the tragic absence of Michelin-starred, five-course dining experiences right on the beachfront. I mean, where were the white-gloved waiters offering exotic delicacies while I lounged in the sun? 😄 Alas, my dreams of indulging in gourmet cuisine with sand between my toes were dashed. Instead, I had to settle for the quaint charm of preparing my own meals in the well-equipped kitchenette – oh, the hardship! :) But hey, who needs fancy restaurants when you can whip up a gourmet feast and enjoy it with a side of sea breeze and tranquility.

It was a beautiful place organized by wonderful people. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The house is located on a hill, near a very nice hiking path. On the terrace you can hear the sea. A family of local cats kept us company when we decided to eat on the terrace. The house was equipped with all we needed.

The hosts were really nice, we felt so wellcomed. The studio appartment was clean and had almost every appliance in the kitchen. Outside is big pool with spectacular view. We trully recommend this complex.

The only thing that would make our stay more comfortable would be some furniture to put our stuff on.

Good location to explore north Cyprus. Everything was super clean, there was all we needed.

Too bad there was no wardrobe, or anything like it

It was a great place, we loved it! Fantastic vibes, beautiful views. The owner is super friendly and helpful!! The whole area is so peaceful. The apartment is very clean, spacious, the bed is really comfortable. We travel a lot, stayed at many nice places, but it was one of the best. It's difficult to find anything better for this price!

A pair of scissors, an iron and a hair dryer would be great to have. It's not a negative, I was perfectly happy without these things as well, the atmosphere made up for it. It's definitely a place where I'm longing to return. A car is essential!

Ideal apartment, when you are travelling with car around Cyprus. Everything was clean, there is a pool and you can chill out in the terrase with a beautiful view. Owner was also very nice.

There is no supermarket, retaurants ans bars in the village, but it is nor problem dor us, because we didnt come because of these.

We were looking for a getaway with a spectacular view, where we could just do nothing but lounge around the pool... take in the view...dip and lounge... dip and lounge.... and we found the most fantastic place. Sooo relaxing. Such a beautiful part of Western Cyprus. A fantastic find. It is said so many times; "oh, we must come back here again..."... but whoever does? We certainly will. Elpida & Xenios are just the warmest and most welcoming of hosts. A couple of hours drive from Larnaca. We're going to book for the end of this month, vacancies allowing (August). We're thinking about once a month.

Everything was amazing! Great location just a 7min walk from the beach. Pet friendly very comfortable apartments with great view. Ideal spot to disconnect, rest and recharge! Would love to go back soon! Wonderful hospitality from our hosts, responsive and super friendly.
