rooms are not renovated even property looks boring with old furniture, paint work required everywhere

Staff served special khichdi to me for dinner as I was unwell.

I booked The Chalets for 3 nights from 16thJune- 19th june, after reading the good reviews at booking.com about the property. But I was disappointed with the way things are presented online & pictures don't do the justice with the hard earned money you have spend on the hotel room . I paid 12k per night for appartment thinking that their deluxe room will be very small & opted for 1 bedroom appartment. To my surprise it had stairs to go up to the bedroom upstairs & for using washroom you have to come down, outside it in the room was a sofa & a small dinning table. It was not mentioned on booking.com & even on hotel's website that the appartment will have stairs , room size mentioned was 33 m. sq. I was not well when I reached chalets so was not in a mood to say anything & just accepted the keys for stay. On 1st night there were two big spiders ( found in jungle areas only ) above my bed with a spiderweb above the almirah. Had to call the housekeeping in midnight as my daughter got scared & started crying & couldn't sleep the whole night. The room 103 had no privacy as if you remove the front curtain the guest sitting at there so called revolving restaurant ( not working during my stay) would peep into your room. Some guest were sitting there & we could see each other very well as I was lying on my bed unwell on the 1st day. The right side view was roof of their main breakfast restaurant & the left side view was broken dishantenna with clothes. This was real room view description against the mentioned description of mountain view & garden view with patio, mind you there was no patio outside the room. There so called temprature controlled swimming pool was not heated and was very dirty. The children pool was clean but many tiles were coming off. When I told the lady to clean the adult pool she bluntly said on my face that it was cleaned in the morning.

Property is nice and staff is friendly and nice.

What they booked and offered. I had to show them what I booked and still they didn't have that available And I had to change rooms three times and three days.

The best part was the swimming pool in which my kid enjoyed a lot

The size of the deluxe rooms can be better

Location was great.

Buffet food could be see improvements.

Exceptional service . Food is too good. Loved the way they have a separate menu for kids food. My 2 yr old njyd every bit of it. Beautiful property. Will definitely recommend to others and revisit.
