- Autobahnnah gelegen - Parkplätze vor der Tür, wenn auch kein gesicherter Parkplatz - freundliche Empfang, freundliche Managerin - sehr gutes Beschwerdemanagement - großzügige Zimmer - bequeme Betten - ruhiges Haus - sehr freundlicher Empfang morgens, ich wurde gefragt ob ich gut geschlafen habe und zum Frühstück begleitet wo mir alles gezeigt wurde: Frühstück umfassend mit Baguette, Toast, Croissant, herzhaft und süßem Belag, Cerealien und Kaffeeautomat

- mein zunächst zugeteiltes Zimmer hatte einen schwarz verschimmelten Duschkopf, ebenso verschimmelt war der Seifenspender, das Wasser lief aus dem Duschkopf - das Zimmer war durch die hochgestellte Heizung sehr warm aber auch sehr feucht - auf meine Beschwerde bezüglich der Dusche erschien die sehr freundliche Chefin, die mir zwei andere deutlich größere Zimmer zur Auswahl stellte. Mein neues Zimmer hatte eine neue Dusche. - auch im neuen Zimmer hohe Luftfeuchtigkeit; sogar das Klopapier war etwas klamm - Treteimer im Bad angerostet und ohne Funktion - Fenster zumindest auf der Rückseite sehr alt und ließ sich nicht öffnen weil es klemmte. - An der Decke dunkle Schatten wie bei überstrichenen oder übertapezierten dunklen Stellen. - der Elektroheizkörper knackt laut. - die Toilettenspülung funktioniert ähnlich wie in einem Zug und ist sehr laut - sehr hellhörige Wände - Preis/Leistung nicht gut wenn man bedenkt, dass ich auf dem Hinweg meiner Reise zum gleichen Preis in einem Hotel der Kyriad Kette genächtigt habe und dort hervorragend untergebracht war. Insgesamt schade, denn das Personal und die Managerin sind super nett.

Perfect spot to stop for a night. Fit por purpose. Good price and easy to park. Very friendly staff.

The hotel is extremely well located, a few steps away from the spa and the casino. Our room was comfortable and we particularly liked the fact that we could have dinner at the hotel’s restaurant, with a yummy child-friendly buffet. What made our stay special is the team’s kindness. I was tragédie alone with my two kids and they made us feel home.

Elevator. Cold room.

Breakfast was small - Few bread and some slices of ham and cheese.

The machine to do the auto-checking was not working, I was standing there out on the cold for 30 minutes until I was able to call the emergency number.

contrexeville was once a pretty town but tourism must have dwindled.

The building

As such a good location for an overnight stop on the way, some 10 minutes drive from the autoroute. Very reasonably priced. A bakery with fresh bread and croissants next door, open early morning.

We stayed at a family room. While the single beds were good, the double bed was really uncomfortable. Way too soft, you keep rolling to the middle. I don't complain easily, but this was really costing sleep.

The good: - Staff is very nice, really try to make your stay very pleasant - Delicious breakfast - Contrexeville is a very nice quit place - Free parking

The Bad: - Hotel looks very dated - There is no elevator - There is no staf in the afternoon before 17:00. We where lucky that by accident somebody was there (after a lot of calls and pressing the bell) but normally you can only check-in after 17.00, even that at booking.com they stated 15.00. The ugly: - Almost the whole hotel smells like mold. - We received the wrong room at first. We found that it was already rented out and they gave us an other room afterwards.

Love the quiet cool comfortable room. The breakfast buffet is perfect. Staff smiling and helpful.

Automatic check in didn’t work. Tried for 30’. Check was possible till 24h but nobody was there and the could get it without the key. At 1am finally somebody came to open because I called the emergency number.

Clean hotel, friendly staff, rooms are just what you need, nothing more, nothing less.

We arrived in the night, so we couldn't ask for the wifi password anymore, so we didn't have wifi. Not a problem though, and not their fault.
