When we walked into the room we noticed a strong musky and mildew smell. The room was dark because of poor lighting. We knew that we could not stay there overnight so we went back to front desk counter and explained that the room was unexceptable. The hotel is outdated and not like we were expecting from the pictures. We did not and will not ever stay there.

The property, the staff and overall service were amazing. However, a few things missing. Had a full kitchen. Pots, pans, cooking equipment…. No utensils or glassware. Only cups available were the paper cups for coffee. None of the shower supplies( body wash, shampoo, conditioner) worked or were not stocked.

Overall the place was good for our needs as we were out sight seeing most of the day, but as listed it says that there is kitchen dishes/utensil...There was NO glasses, cups, plates or silverware. The only thing that was in our room was a can opener, small frying pan, small strainer, and a pot. So a little disappointed with that aspect. We did not utilize the free breakfast that was offered so I have no say on that. I did feel safe in the area. It is right off the highway so it can be a little noisy with traffic. But if ever in the area again, I would stay.

We stayed here for one night as a stop on our way to Kentucky from Kansas. The staff were friendly and our suite was very clean and comfortable. Booked a stay for our return trip to Kansas.

The room had mold in the fridge. The microwave was even dirty in the corners ! Table had a broken leg. Coffee maker was dirty hasn’t been cleaned! The carpet had stains on it the curtains had stains on it. The tv was broken in the upstairs room! The sink didn’t get hot! The manager told me re don’t do refunds so it doesn’t matter! The pool was shocked almost everyday so when you get in your eyes burn so bad . We never went to breakfast due to what we experience in the room! The manager went off on housekeeping as if he was the only one that cleans that rooms! So hey over all a 2/5 because the pool we got in 2x out of 5 days and because the area was really peaceful!

I noticed the toilet running as soon as I entered the room beacause it was loud. A maintenance man said he would come fix it but he never showed up. The desk clerk said he didn't have anybody to fix it and no other rooms available.

Clean and quiet

Property was okay, not great. Rooms are a bit dated. There was no way to set up the sofa bed without blocking access to the rest of the room. We were given the bedding at the front desk and had to carry it to the building ourselves. The body wash pump was empty. The room smelled of smoke from our downstairs neighbor smoking in the outside stairwell. Breakfast is over by 8:30 on weekdays.

Our favorite place when coming to the Chesterfield area! The inly downside is that sometimes the breakfast space gets awfully crowded.

Friendly staff and a great breakfast! I will say the floors were not very clean and it's not a great place for families with small children. There was hair in the bathroom and the carpet left our feet black. There are no elevators. We were put in an upper suite so we had to lug our three kids under age three up two flights of stairs. Also, the suites have a very steep set of stairs leading up into the loft room and the separate rooms have no doors. It would be okay with older kids, but I don't recommend this stay for families with little kids. The laundry is also at the very front of the property so you have to walk pretty far if you stay in the lower buildings.

I was very disappointed with our stay here. Our refrigerator/freezer wasn't working, we called and maintenance came up but couldn't fix it. They didn't work with us to help protect the groceries we bought for this stay so we lost a majority of what we bought. The pots and pans were missing so we couldn't cook anything until replaced and it took me multiple times talking to front desk and housekeeping for them to come up and take inventory before they replaced. Housekeeping didn't refill the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash dispensers in shower and even calling multiple times to have refilled, it never happened. The breakfast was good but they weren't organized in keeping coffee and food supplied. I asked for management name and contact info and was refused to be given. This was the first time I have ever stayed at a Sonesta and will definitely be the last time. What was supposed to be a fun weekend for the family ended up being a annoying and frustrating weekend.

Very friendly staff. Pool was clean. Room was perfect for a girls weekend. Love having 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Beds were so comfortable. Breakfast buffet was good, great selection of food and juices. Would definitely stay here again.

It was perfect for what we needed, one night to rest. The room is bigger than your avg hotel room with a full kitchen and partial living room with sofa. I liked it.

Unfortunately a nice place that I would happily have returned to if I had not witnessed a terrible employee interaction during breakfast. It was simply not the way to treat a person. I don’t leave bad reviews unless I reach out and see if management will fix. I sent a message and got a very dismissive reply.

We arrived about 9:30 p.m. to settle in from a long trip with our niece that was coming to start her 1st year of College and to our surprise the room floor was dirty. We requested a vaccum from front desk and the vaccum didn't work. We were exhausted and decided to rest. Come morning we realized that there was many things wrong, the toilet up stairs was not working, the applicances were not properly cleaned, and more! We had appointments to keep for our new student college orientation that there was no time to deal with our room crisis. There were men outside who were drinking, my daughters felts unsafe. One guy was outside sitting in the grass in the dark. It was an awful experience, our room smelled bad, we were put in the back of the building where the entry way up the stairs was dirty with tree leaves and snails walking on the guard rails. We were so disappointed 😞 I was supposed to be a family time spent in a clean environment, but we encountered the opposite. I am so unhappy with Sonesta Suites service.

My daughter and I stayed while on a roadtrip. Very clean and nicely set up. Great breakfast selection. Area around was nice and easy to drive. The curry club was so delish!
