When I booked online, I didn’t realize the hotel was right beside the main highway. When I checked in, I voiced my concerns about possibly noise from the highway. The gentleman got all loud and defensive and made me feel uncomfortable. He said he would give me the wifi password and I could call Expedia and cancel. At this point I wasn’t about to turn off airplane mode on my phone and cancel the reservation.it didn’t seem like it was a terrible place to stay. It wasn’t terrible but wasn’t the best choice of hotels for the price point. The negatives were the door didn’t close properly as you could see right out to the hallway. The sliding door facing the parking lot didn’t feel secure as it was loose and you could probably break in very easily. The bed was ok. I just felt that the front desk staff did not have to be so rude to us when we checked in. As for the location, I thought it was going to be closer to Oceanside Beach so driving wouldn’t be required. After a long day on the road, it has taught me to be more careful and diligent on what I book in the future.

Room was nice, beds definitely need to be upgraded to queen size at least. Most don’t have a teenage body lol. Beds do not fit 2 adults comfortably.

We liked we could walk to the beach and pier. The pier was a good walk, if you like to walk. Lots of parking around the pier. Hotel was nice, friendly staff and when ww needed something, we got it right away. Clean pool and hot tub

The man at the counter, I believe his name was Armand, was a wonderful 1st face to see at this hotel. He was very nice!

It’s small. The doors, front and sliding glass, have seams in them where you can see the light and hear everything within 50 feet. The air conditioning is a small machine in the wall that uses a remote and it’s set on Celsius not Fahrenheit. The tv is big. The hotel/motel is close to the freeway but nothing else. Just a one time stay for us.

Unfortunately I did not enjoy my stay. The hotel had a very unpleasant odor and was not as clean as I hoped. There was hair stuck to the walls in the bathroom amongst other things. The worst part was how paper thin the walls are, I was at the mercy of the occupants above me for how much sleep I got and it wasn’t much.

Service was amazing.Fitness facility needs to be updated. Equipment was broken and there is very little equipment to begin with.

Overall our stay was pleasant. Good staff. The property all around was clean. The room had everything you would need for an overnight stay or for a longer stay. Our bed was comfortable. The only dislike, it was close to a train track we could hear the train’s horn early in the morning.

Good and quiet hotel with a very nice breakfast. Warm eggs, bacon/sausage and a delicious potato mix. Waffle maker , bagels, bread, oatmeal, cereal, milk , juice tea and of course coffee. Rooms were spacious and clean. Beds were comfortable and water pressure was good. Room smelled a bit humid but it goes with the territory I guess. Pool looked nice but we didn’t get in. Stayed for two nights with two young kids while going to LEGOLAND and the beach. Great pizza place just past the freeway. We would stay here again.

Room was clean and, enjoyed having patio space. Food was good.

Initial impression is the place is slightly on the "sketchy" side of things, a homeless person in the parking lot, car sitting in front of the place with a flat tire for days, If you are looking for a decent place just to rest for the night this maybe it, but beyond that it's just ok, one of those places that tries to cover up the fact that it needs renovations, not just another coat of paint. Close to the freeway, about a mile and a half up the hill from the beach area.

Everything was great. No screen on the sliding doors. Would have liked fresh air. Staff friendly and helpful. Convenient location.
