Not the cleanest place and it was difficult in finding the driveway to turn into the hotel

Room was old; carpet seemed dirty. Bathroom needs upgrading. I always check for bedbugs; thankfully none were seen but the mattress was dirty - literally looked like dried crumbled leaves. Glad I was there for less than 10 hours - just enough to sleep and shower before going to the airport

When I got to my room the temperature was 90 degrees.
It took a while to get it cooled off.
The wifi was bad and the smart tv had problem due to the wifi. I couldn't sign on to any streaming. My laptop would freeze while trying to watch Netflix. In today world wifi should be working.

This property needs updating. The carpet just outside the bath was wet. Not able to change room til next night. Staff was understanding, helpful and knowledgeable.

The airport shuttle was efficient, the beds were comfortable, the bathroom had some hairs in it but the room was fine, and the staff were friendly and knowledgeable.

The hotel is outdated. The room was not clean. The carpet and the curtains are so old and dirty that need replacement. The front desk lady was not helpful. She is outright arrogant. The hotel has no blankets. The bed has one sheet with a bed cover.
Good things are the hotel offers 24/7 airport shuttle and the driver was very courteous. He is also the maintenance guy who helped us to adjust the thermostat and bought us two extra bed covers.

The property was dirty, and there was vomit in the parking lot. Our room was gross. What appeared to be blood or food was on the walls, lampshade, and picture above the bed. The bathroom light switch was so dirty I refused to touch it. We were given another room, which was better. However, allowing someone to enter a room that was the nastiest room I've ever walked into was enough to make me never stay again.

I have never come across more rude hotel staff ever! The guy at the front desk has zero personality, was not friendly or welcoming at all! The rooms are terrible! Clean bought but old, run down and in need of upgrades. This was a quick stop over for one night and never again.

They reimbursed us because we had to take a Uber from the airport because their phone was out of order. The desk attendant was very helpful. The room was clean and adequate for an overnight and early flight. Restaurants were close and walkable for dinner. Left too early for breakfast. Transport to airport was good. Great value for the money!

The room is very big. That is great. The breakfast is provided for guests from 6AM to 9AM. Because we need to catch the early flight and can't wait to 6AM. The kitchen stuff gave us bananas. We highly appreciate her kindness. Thank you Alex Hotel.

The check-in process was easy, the reception worker seemed bored and void of emotion. I booked a kitchenette, which consisted of a small refrigerator with a microwave on top, not what the photos on Expedia showed for a kitchenette. I had an open and used hand soap, used bath towel hanging in the bathroom, and a used washcloth on the counter. The bed was very clean and comfortable, I had extra towels, so I decided to stay. When I checked out I let the receptionist know about the issues, she spoke pleasantly, but used squinty annoyed looking eyes when she told me she would report it. Not bothersome to me, I had the same annoyed squinty eyes when I saw the issues in my room. The hotel is on a noisy street, the morning food was the same as other hotels, the place is outdated, but is a decent price point for Alaska in the summer. I’d stay again if I had to, but it would not be high on my list.

The customer service was horrible, the lady at the front kept being so rude and snobby. Called the front and she was so rude and hung up on me as well. They need new people working there. I’ve stayed twice and they’ve been super rude.

When we booked this property, we expected we would be able to prepare meals in the kitchenette. The stove had two working burners, two saucepans were all that was there. No dishes, silverware, cups or any other utensils. The room was adequate although not as clean as would be expected. Some if the outlets did not work as well as the lights resulting in a dark room. While the staff was friendly, they did not seem to know how to handle these issues. We would not feel comfortable recommending this hotel.
