Lobby - decent.
Check in took 20 minutes. . The male front desk staff didn’t know how to use the computer. The woman was just sitting not offering her help.
The room - outside there was a foil baking dish infront of all rooms I believe to absorb whatever liquid comes out from air conditioner. Ingenuous but eye sores. I thought they were mouse traps. I wish I took pictures. That was the first impression. Consequently, it ruined the experience.
To lock the door, I had to kick it.
Shower cap only covered top of the head.
Shampoo was used.
Tub did not drain

A couple of friends traveling..we stopped here as a mid point of travel to Georgia. Nice hotel busy traffic circle coming and going but ok. Breakfast was good lots of options

The hotel was the perfect overnight stop for my husband and i to split our drive to Shenandoah Park. Check in was a beeeze, lobby looks bright and neat. Ir seems like the rooms had just been renovated, super clean ,comfy beds and spacious enough for the 2 of us. Just didnt have vent fans in bathroom though. The breakfast is the usual minimalist, but Waffle house just across the street for those who want hefty breakfast.

The hotel was very neat and clean. The bed was very comfortable. The staff was nice. The only complaint, I might have, is that the lighting around the mirror is to dim to see to fix your hair and makeup with. But this alone would not prevent me from staying here. I would give them 4.5 stars

The reviews for this Hotel were generous...while it has been updated a bit..it is an older Hotel, tiny rooms with outside entry. The shower was merely a trickle...could not get the shower head to put out any water...did not eat the breakfast it looked to be only pastries, bagels and cereal. I would not stay here again. Very noisy next to the highway.

We chose this hotel as our “half way” point during our trip to Atlantic Beach, NC. We only stayed overnight but we enjoyed our stay. The room was clean, beds were nice, and Paris at the front desk made checkin a breeze! He was so friendly and knowledgable about the area. We will stay here again during our next trip passing through.

We booked this for 1 night. Uncomfortable bed, great pillows though but noisy location.
The next day we went down for breakfast. Apparently we got the time mixed up. So we went down to front desk to ask, but before we can even say a word. We got addressed by a worker at the front desk with an arrogant "What do you want?" No hi or good morning. Didnt get his name, a bald/shaved head male. Not a very good first impression of Statesville!

Check in was great & room was very clean & comfortable. One pillow case had a spot on it that looked like chocolate but there were plenty of pillows so we put that pillow in a chair. Other than that the room was great.

A second stay in the rooms at the back of the property were quieter. Still great rooms for a quick overnight stay and back on the road. Thanks for another great stay?

Thank you for a great stop over night. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The desk staff were awesome and welcoming. Street noise was our only complaint, but out of the control of the hotel.

My room was clean. I was very happy about that. I hate I didn't get the staffs name they were wonderful. Housekeeper checked on me every day during my stay.(my stay was 7 days). Any situations that arrived was handled immediately by management. I especially want to acknowledge the night Manager who kept everything quiet every night and throughout the weekend (Kudos to you Sir). For the price, the amenities, staff, management and the convenience of stores/shops, I would stay there again.

The property has obviously seen some recent upgrades. The room with two double beds felt crowded, but was clean and fine for one night. Breakfast was basic, but fine. I didnt get to use the pool, but it looked very attractive. Good location for a one night stopover.

The stafff here are very helpful. My room was perfectly located across a big grassy area that my dog loved. The last day of my stay my a/c wasn’t working so the manager put me into another room with the same amenities & even closer to grassy area!! The breakfast is balanced choices & I loved the tea selection. Site has cameras everywhere and I felt very safe. The beds are great too!!!

No carpets, lots of non porous surfaces wich makes it easy to keep clean :) bed was comfy, so much so, we missed breakfast. Comfortable, next to I77, safe, clean and friendly staff.
