The corridors in this hotel are very cold. There is no elevator to the second floor, so be prepared to lug your bags up the stairs. The evening desk clerk was quite unfriendly and not helpful when we checked in. The morning clerk was much better and more accommodating. While clean, the property is quite shopworn and in need of a makeover. We will not be back.

First of ALL when I was giving my room upon arrival.when I entered room was greeted by strong smell of heavy smoke and , by the way I have asthma and very hard for me to breathe in smoke.called front desk immediately. They did offer me a different room. Next me and husband had breakfast was good

Check in was quick and easy. Our room was neat and tidy and plenty big enough for us. Not a lot of frills, but we were not looking for any. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

The breakfast was excellent. The staff members were all very helpful and courteous. It was an amazing stay. The only thing that would improve the stay would be an elevator. My aging parents had a little bit of difficulty managing the stairs, but overall had a great experience.

If you are able to book for 150 or less it’s OK. Clean but dated and average breakfast.
Was an overnight stop and not many choices outside of Boston, guess that’s why they can charge a premium price. I’ve stayed in nicer places in New York, Nashville and Bar Harbor ME for the price.

There is no elevator so it was a little difficult getting everything up the stairs but we made it work.

Everything about it was pretty good for the price. The only complaint i have is the curtains dont close so you cant sleep in

Close to the subway leading to Boston, without the hassle of parking in Boston. Nice town, but limited shopping facilities. Quiet, though, and easy access to main highways. Very convenient to get to Cape Cod.
We stayed five nights, and it was too bad that our room was not served one day. That was unfortunate, but the reception staff were very kind, courteous and helpful. We would go back!

The place is old and is showing it! Grounds were well kept but rooms, doors, windows, bathroom facilities get a C. And, no pool, no ping pong table, etc. definitely not worth what we had to pay!

I'm picky and the room was perfect. Clean, comfy , cold AC , hot shower. Air unit had fan setting so it could be run all night. Good place to stay a night or two.

The mold in the room, especially the bathroom,had us all stuffed up and wheezing by the morning. We checked out a day early.

I found a hidden camera on the hotel floor & MANY ants EVERYWHERE!!!
Front desk says camera a toy & ants are from the flowers outside. I’m on the 2nd floor & the ants are coming in???!!!!
I called the local police regarding the activated tiny camera that flashed a blue light w/motion.
DO NOT STAY HERE ……
