Great stay. We had a very large room with king bed and pull out sofa which was great. Two tv’s and sink in and outside of bathroom. Breakfast was simple, danish, fruit, yogurt but good. Lots of flavors and creamers to add to coffee which was awesome. Pool was very warm and had great hot tub and sauna. Enjoyed all three and was very quiet in pool area. Host was very attentive when we needed extra bedding! Great location. Would definitely stay here again.

The room was large! The pool was actually at a great temp-not freezing cold. They also have a great hot tub and sauna. Breakfast was minimal. Location is good kind of out of the way but easy access to the highway. Will definitely be staying again.

Very friendly and accommodating staff. Room very clean and bed was comfortable. We were traveling to the UP and this was a last-minute choice as we were too tired to continue driving. No regrets.

Amazing place to stay. Breakfast was adequate and the pancake maker was cool. Pool was very nice. I think the hot tub needed some work, but it was still very nice. I will stay there again.

The hotel workers were friendly, the place was clean. They could improve their breakfast choices.Another thing i didnt like was the lighting in my room. I was staying in a king room with a couch in an alcove. There were 2 lamps next to the couch that just would not turn on. I took a working lightbulb from another lamp and screwed it into one of the non working lamps and it still didnt work so i assume they didnt plug it in. I tried to do it myself and had to lean and reach so far that i fell (hard) on the coffee table in front of the couch. I was surprised the table didnt break! I injured both of my knees. Not a great start to a vacation dedicated to hiking. Maybe if you have a dark alcove you can plug the lamps into their electrical outlets. It would have been appreciated by this customer!

The front desk staff & maintenance man were very friendly! And the breakfast was amazing; best biscuits and gravy we've ever had! Unfortunately, we were lied to by housekeeping. After cleaning our room halfway through our stay, she said she had put new clean sheets on the beds. Upon climbing into bed that night, there were brown spots on the sides and a purple stain in the middle. The bottle of shampoo in the shower was empty when we arrived and was still empty when we checked out, despite asking the housekeeping lady if it could be filled.
The indoor pool was gross with dead bugs, some kind of slime/mucus & what appeared to be dog hair floating in it.

The hotel was fine. Entryway, breakfast bar area, and the pool were all great. The rooms were okay - I just had a bad experience because one set of sheets was really dirty. I went to the front desk and got new sheets and a comforter and we didn’t have any issues after that.

Didn’t think it was worth 144.00 a night. Billboard outside my window even with the curtains closed light came in. Just was disappointed. Had to actually get out of bed to turn the tv on and off remote wouldn’t do it.

As such a standard motel, but the pool was the best we have experienced on a 24 day road trip, and it was the first place we experienced a pancake machine - nice! Easy to access from Duluth.

After the initial check in everything was excellent. The pool and jacuzzi were clean warm and the building is spacious. I only have one suggestion. The pool does not have lights and its dark looking at the water.
The house keeping staff was outstanding.
I do have one negative. There was a man who was there that was not staff he was outside smoking and the was sitting behind the counter talking to the female front desk. Not good.

Great place to stay but noisy. Our room had an adjoining doorway and we could hear the majority of the conversation from the other room. The breakfast was a real disappointment with the only hot items being self serve pancakes and gravy for biscuits. Not a deal breaker as we just found a restaurant for breakfast.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the hotel. It was quiet, the room was clean and the breakfast was good. The coffee was Seattle's Best and we love a strong brew!

The room was large and had blackout curtains which I loved. The bed was comfy enough, however the pillows were super lumpy and there wasn't any variety to soft vs. firm. I have neck pain and forgot to bring my own pillow with so was hoping they'd have a few different options, but that didn't seem to be the case. Overall, this place was clean and a good value for what you pay. We would come back again.

Check in was annoying in that it’s 8 o’clock after a long day of traveling and even though there were two clerks at desk only one was able to check people in. Rose refused to help and directed us to wait in line for the guy next to her to help us. The room was okay, breakfast was just basic. Other staff we interacted with were friendly, but I’d stay somewhere else next time.
