Great place. Hot tub was the best after fishing. Helped us warm up. Everyone was very friendly

This hotel has an overall rating on some sites that's pretty low--This hotel is aging and in need of new carpeting, but overall, the hotel is okay. The staff were friendly, everyone was nice and the hotel didn't have a room that was mobility and pet, so I chose pet room as I had to do so--and they did manage to get me a bath bench which really helped. There were no feathers in the pillows which is what I requested. Our bed was very very firm and uncomfortable. It was hard to sleep as if someone moved, the whole bed moved.
Still, I would stay there again, and bring something to cushion the mattress!
It was an okay place to stay and I'm so appreciative that they allow dogs because not every hotel in the area does. Thank you!

Bathroom had hair on floor. No effort had been made to vacuum carpet either. It had dusty dried mud spots. The eggs at breakfast had strange black coloration in places. The price was about double what it should have been.

My mom and I stayed, the hotel was nice, breakfast was fantastic but the bathroom was not designed very well. We couldn’t use the toilet paper dispenser because it was too far away and I am quite tall.

Upon rival, we found the window open in our room. The window was broken and could not be closed. The temperature was supposed to drop to 35 degrees that night. They had no other rooms that night and offered us a free stay. We passed. Our shower also was dirty and clearly not cleaned. I will not go in detail of what was in the shower but just leave it that it was disgusting. The conditions of the entire hotel was run down, unkept, and dirty. We ended up driving another hour away to find a different hotel to stay at. They did offer to refund our money which was appreciated.

Overnight trip, comfy beds. Leaky faucet, wallpaper peeling, otherwise no complaints. Basic breakfast, friendly staff, nice fitness room and pool.

Great room. Updated furnishings. Awful heating, cooling system . Even at the lowest setting, the windiw unit dan was unbearably loud, which required a loud TV and kept us awake. Turning it off made the room stuffy.
Quality Inn should replace their thread bare bath towels, unplug the bath tub drain, and fix the bath heat and air celing lamp.

The shower drained very slowly and the water hardly had any pressure. No bathroom vent fan. The condition of the furniture in the room was poor. The breakfast selection was poor. The room kind of smelled like alcohol. Looked like there was a cigarette butt in the hot tub and the pool area smelled like smoke.

Unfortunately, when i arrived the police were there apparently working out a fight between guests? Then, my key would not work to get into the side door and i had to come back around to front to get a new key. The receptionist was sitting outside smoking and crying. She was on phone with her drunk boyfriend as she informed me.
The room itself was not clean. There were toothpaste and water marks still on the sink faucet and the mirror, water marks from a glass on bedside table, even the kleenex dispenser was dusty. The shower was not clean either.
I never leave bad reviews but felt this was needed. I would not recommend.

Was an average stay. Nothing fancy. Basic needs. Definitely could tell it was in the middle of changing ownership. Stayed for one night while passing through with 2 kids. It worked for us for just sleeping and quick breakfast in the morning.

Outdated, wallpaper was falling off the walls, there were wrappers and garbage under the beds, the room had a strange smell, but the front desk staff was very friendly.

The rooms were not clean. The beds were not clean. The sheets were not clean overall the entire hotel is not clean. Like dust on lamps dust on tables dust on TVs. They may have vacuumed wipe down the counters in the bathroom. The sinks and everything were very dirty.

I have been at this Quality Inn before. The front desk was GREAT! Our room was eh. The AC wasn’t turned on properly which made for a very damp room so it wasn’t very comfortable. When I went out with my pet in the early morning, there was a bag of garbage in the middle of the hallway which tells me no staff walked the halls of that building all night.😔 Although I’m disappointed, I would give it another shot. Sounds like néw management had just taken over as well.

The hotel had a horrible smell and mold in the rooms on the 3rd floor. They we kind enough to relocate us to another floor but the overall smell was unavoidable. Will not stay there again.

The property was nice on the outside. The pool was clean and neat. Breakfast was available everyday. The room we stayed in was very humid. Our clothes and items felt damp and the room was damp as well. The carpet was dirty and turned our feet black if we didn’t have on crocks. The staff was friendly and the hotel was not humid at all. Our room could have been better.

The front desk staff need to be trained properly. Check in staff was rude in her tone and attitude that I had used Expedia. Additionally, when I checked out I was yelled at by the front desk staff about not calling to check out - which I did as I left early at 8a and wanted her to know that our room was empty for their housekeeping staff. Upon leaving, she stopped me in the hallway to tell me I was not checking out properly. Then, she told me I didn’t pay. I said I booked and paid on Expedia. Then, she said. Oh it’s paid. All around - a really poor experience.

Decent hotel for the price. Clientele is mostly day laborers who were quiet and friendly. Would stay here again if I ever get back to Escanaba.

We did not stay. The rooms smelled dank and smokey. I mention rooms because not only did the first one smell bad, but the tv didnt work. The second room smelled too. The entire place was tired and rundown, and there was trash surrounding the access door to the room. There were also a number of construction workers partying in the parking lot. All in all, not good.

The rooms are large suites. There was a lot of room. The things in the room worked including the thermostat and A/C. The bed was comfortable, shower and tub worked well. I didn't use the pool since kids were playing in it and I didn't want to disturb them. The dinner options were adequate. The bar/diner staff were great and service was great. The coffee was good. The elevator stopped working, so I had to carry luggage up a couple flights of stairs.

No ventilation!!! No fan in the bathroom, so walls of the entire room got terrible condensation after every single shower. All clothes and towels were damp throughout the 4-night-stay. Toiletries were not filled.

This property is in dire need of updates and even renovation. The room stank of mold and my glands were swollen from it. There were rust and mold stains in the bathroom grout and shower. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful, and there is hot coffee and water in the lobby. Also nice pet stations with bags and trash cans in the grass. I feel like they are trying, it’s just really run down. Also, there is a broken down train behind the hotel covered in graffiti. Grateful to head out the next morning.

I have stayed at this property numerous times over the past decade and it had been wonderful. I was shocked to see that the maintenance and housekeeping had taken a severe decline over the past three years! I hope management reads this review and cleans up this place to be the best hotel in town again!

The room was decently furnished and bed was comfortable but the place really needs work. Stairwell in rough shape too and and odd smell in hallway and room. The one Tesla charger worked well. The west side charger has a broken pin so it doesn’t charge at full speed.

The staff is extremely friendly. The hotel really just needs some up-keep and maintenance. The wallpaper was coming off the walls and the beds were not comfortable at all. For being older and a bit run down, it seemed like they keep it as clean as they can. We would still return as its convenient for us. It has great potential if the owners gave it some TLC.

This hotel is very outdated and has a very funky smell. They really need to invest in some new paint and carpeting. Was not comfortable here at all but may be fine for some. In all actuality the property is beautiful and has potential but needs the attention mentioned. And the staff were in the hallway during room cleaning time using foul language....not appropriate for your guest to hear.
