Lobby was clean and welcoming. Desk clerk was very friendly and gave great service. Room was clean, no bad smells, nice linens and towels. Great selection at breakfast
including apples, bananas, pears and oranges! Breakfast staff person was excellent. Would definitely stay here again.

Convenient hotel just off the highway but no traffic sounds in the room. The rug and paint was a little tired but the shampoo products (larger bottles attached to the wall) were good. The shower was big and had a handheld head.
The front desk knew there would be an influx of eclipse chasers and had some helpful information available. They even opened the breakfast room early so we were able to grab something before our early start.

First, the good - it was a lovely quiet location, and the staff were great. The gentleman on the reception desk was very welcoming and pleasant, and the lady at breakfast was too. The room was pretty good, it was spacious and although dated, had everything we needed. Breakfast was ok. I saw a couple of guests with dogs whilst I was there and it's nice that it's dog friendly.
Now, the bad. It was revoltingly dirty. I don't know who they have doing the cleaning, but they need to replace them! There was lots of hair on the bathroom floor, particularly between the bath and door (top tip for the cleaners: you have to actually move the door and vaccum behind it, not just stand in the doorway and vacuum there). And not hair from somebody's head either, it was gross. And next time I'm passing I'll pop in with a limescale remover spray as a gift, as clearly the cleaners have never heard of it - the taps and bath control were covered in limescale and a quick spray of that would have had them gleaming. Most reviews I read before booking said it was dirty, I'd hoped they have addressed this but obviously not.
And although the surroundings are super quiet, it's not in the hotel as the walls are paper thin. We had a ground floor room next to an external door and all night we were woken by people going in and out of this door. We could also hear the baby crying in a room 3 doors down!

Non-smoking room smelled like cigarettes and had a sticky substance on the walls. Staff was very polite though.

It wouldn't be too bad if they would enforce their quiet hours instead of letting the out-of-stators slam their doors and yell at the top of their lungs and have their kids run up and down the hallway until 2:00 to 3:00 in the morning

Needs remodel badly, have stayed multiple times and the facility is showing it’s age. Good breakfast options and a clean bed but that’s about it.

Stains on the bed spread and bed skirt looked like semen stains.
Broken dead bolt lock. Spider webs, dust, dirt, beverage stains on the end tables and on back of bathroom door.
Dumpster outside of room window. I left after 5 hours of checking into this Uncomfortable Comfort Inn.

This Comfort in was very nice and close to many of the places I was visiting. The beds were clean and comfortable, the rooms were a good size, the bathrooms were well stocked with towels, soap, etc. The continental breakfast had various options as well. It was a great place to stay and I would return in the future. Also, the front desk staff were kind and courteous.

Wednesday at a couple of times and it's never a bad day could always be better like when you're in the back rooms the trash truck comes at say 4:00 or 5:00 in the morning and it's really loud wakes you up other than that the front desk is always friendly and they don't bother you

This hotel was barely passable. There was a used washcloth left in the shower and the room just smelled unclean. It didn’t look obviously dirty but something about the odor just screamed “filth.” I also killed a spider crawling up a wall. There’s never just one. Had to make sure and check everyone to make sure no one was bitten in the night. Pests get in, not necessarily the hotel’s fault. Just not a good sign.
Also, the temperature control panel was broken so some of the wiring was exposed and the walls were paper-thin. Some folks were in town for a reunion or conference (it was a busy weekend) and enjoying conversation in the hallway - at least sounded like they were in the halls— and I could hear everything they were saying. They didn’t even seem to be speaking in elevated tones, the walls are just really thin. It was a little too much to spend for what you get. The staff were very friendly and it’s really convenient to the interstate and for where we needed to be. Just seems that corporate needs to invest in the property.

The motel was very convenient to where we were going. However, it needs work and a lot of it. Outlets and switches are old and dirty some have busted safety plates. Bathrooms - a lot of wasted space, they used cheap wall paper instead of tile and have tried to glue it back on. The dining area for breakfast they had replaced the floors but did nothing about the mop board. There is a huge gap, how unsightly and poor workmanship. Speaking of breakfast it was included which is a plus. The selection was ok however we stayed 3 nights and 2 of the breakfast featured the same powered eggs, it was not until the last day they had omelets which were pretty good. We tried the waffles and was pleased they had no sugar syrup. The one thing that really bothered me was of all the channels on TV, they blocked Fox News. It was clearly labeled as a station they had , but they blocked it. When I asked about it, we did not get towels for the next day and I had to ask the front desk. This area should be a great place to have a good motel, and I cannot believe they are not making good money on. We may be coming back again for business, but we may stay a little further away at a different chain

Absolutely no Wi-Fi. When raising this to the front desk they took NO!! responsibility and blamed the IT company that provides the WI-FI access and told us to call them and give them hell. It was ABSOLUTELY UNBELIEVABLE!!

Gross! I will never stay at a Comfort Inn again. The staff was fine, but the linens, overall cleanliness and upkeep of the building was horrendous for the price! I paid over $200 a night and I was terrified over how ratty the carpeting looked and worried I would wake up with bed bugs! The bedside table had a broken and hanging off pull. It was just sooo shabby for the price!! I paid only $50 more per night for the Westin in Boston!!! Crazy! This Comfort Inn is in the middle of nowhere! Absolutely insane to pay premium pricing for a rundown property when you can go to a better property within a couple miles of this place! Comfort Inn is like The Motel 6 of the modern day!

It was just one night and was good. The room was clean, there were a few dirty spots on the sheets. I asked for a cot and they had one in the room by the time we got up. We were able to check in about an hour early

For $199 a night, I don’t think it’s too much to ask for a clean room, clean towels and WiFi that works. This Comfort Inn had none of those things. Try to avoid here unless you’re absolutely desperate.

We’ve been traveling across North America for 3 months, staying in different hotels every night..and not only was this the most expensive place we’ve encountered, but also the least bang for your buck. Last week we stayed at Cabana Bay resort in universal studios Orlando for less money. Nothing about our stay was necessarily “bad”…but it was definitely run down. The lobby was a mess, the fitness center was disastrous..used towels all over the floors and machines, all of the weights were missing, the pool was closed..the bathroom doors were falling apart, the elevator buttons didn’t work, etc. etc. I’m not writing this to complain, I’m just giving an honest review. Anywhere else in the country I wouldn’t pay more than $70 for this hotel. The fact that we paid almost 4x that is absurd.

The breakfast was outstanding. First time I've ever used a waffle maker like that. And they tasted fantastic. The eggs and sausages were good too. To bad they didn't have any pepper.

Upon arrival the gentleman at the desk was polite and prof. The cleaning staff on our hallway on the day we left was professional and warm. The window was covered with graffiti
like smears with what looked like mucus. It was all over the window- I cleaned it myself because it was so disgusting to look at. There was “writing” on both windows. There was a jumbo sized beverage left from a prior guest in the refrigerator. The person attending to breakfast in the morning lost her patience when I politely alerted that all sources of coffee were empty and started yelling for another person by name. I understand an overwhelming work environment and I think she needed more help. The cost of your hotel is not remarkably cheap. I definitely expected a hotel that was bit brighter, cleaner and more modern. The highlight was clean bedding. I guess that is something! The windows did you in. Gross

The stay was interesting. The Wi-Fi did not work 90% of the time of us being at the hotel for the two nights we were there. Staff was outside on breaks smoking cigarettes complaining about the work they had to do. Extremely unprofessional. Couldn’t speak with management during check out because the manager was on the phone and just had us drop our key in the box for check out. The blankets had definitely had some wear and tear on them. The toilet never went down the first time had to flush at least three times.

The room we stayed in had mold in the shower and stains in the bed. TV and main light switch for the room did not work. Would not recommend anyone stay there unless it’s an emergency. Room was in poor condition and desperately needs updated.
