One of the best hotel experiences I’ve had- went into the city for a nearby music event and planned to bring my own car to which we paid an additional $45 to park in the gated garage with in and out privileges. Very clean and comfortable beds, four pillows per bed (very cozy) and a microwave room downstairs we used to make store bought popcorn. There’s a CVS vending machine and a snack machine too.

Big mistake as i booked a full one week in the smelly room. The carpets are so old and very dusty. Kids struggled with dust allergies and even thou they vaccum its was bad.

Place was comfortable. Staff was friendly. Pool was nice, of course they can't control the weather in SF! Area around the hotel was decent. Lots of restaurants on Polk St. Short bus ride to Chinatown.

This was a lovely hotel that is walking distance to Chinatown and Japantown. The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. The customer service was fantastic and they kept a security guard by the elevators. It was an easy spot to get an Uber. The surrounding area was safe and clean. Its was a great stay.

Nice holiday inn in the middle of SF. Booked the room through hotels.com, but the holiday inn trouble accessing the correct reservation, which caused the bill to be incorrect. I would recommend booking through Holiday Inn and not this website.

Room was clean however there were noises coming from the ceiling that sounded like plumbing pipes all night long

Had a great stay. It was in a good location with lots of options for food and some bars nightlife that we walked to within 5-10 min distance. It was a little loud at night in a sense that emergency vehicles passed by often but our room was facing the Main Street. Would stay here again.

Great location! You can find parking on the street but like any city, it is difficult. The hotel charged about $50 per night for parking but the garage is sealed so it's pretty safe. The parking space is SMALL, perhaps that's all spots in San Francisco. But I had a Chevy Malibu as a rental and I couldn't turn the car around without having to do a 4-5 point maneuver.
Aside from the parking, it was a great location, the rooms were clean, larger than what I expected. I went with a couple of friends and it was more than enough space.
10/10 would stay here again

Amazing views of the city and the bay from 23rd floor. Friendly and helpful reception counter staff. Helped us get a 7-day visitor MUNi pass for the cable car system. Location at California and van Ness was perfect for cable car access to all venues and tourist sights. Only downside was no recycling bins in the room.

Impressive on arrival and check in. Room interior good though slightly small with a fantastic view (25th floor).
Buffet breakfast well presented but $30 per person??
Dining menu for the rest of the day was limited and repetitive as other than the "daily special" nothing else changed during our stay.
On two evenings the dining area was cordoned off for Air China staff use only leaving a smaller area for other guests - we only actually saw one person use the area. When arriving to eat, we were asked to prepay for our meals and drinks so the gratuity was paid before experiencing the quality of service, not the dining practice we are used to.

It was a medical trip but since i walked in the receptionist where amazing it was my first time in San Francisco and they make sure i took the right route to our destination i made a special request and they make sure we got that accommodation the room was cosy and neat clean food at their restaurant was delicious plate well served at all everything was amazing

Location is ok and is 20 minutes from The Piers, Chinatown or Union Square by car..You can hear your neighbors in their rooms above you or the rooms next to you. I was on the 17th floor and i still could here all the traffic and people form the street like the windows were open even though they were closed.

The only thing that was unpleasant I had called to put my sister on room because she came before me. And they would not let her in. She called me and I was on plane and they were calling to discontinue cell use. But they finally let her in

Nice location. Clean, comfortable, friendly staff. Easy parking. Park on the lower part of the garage floors if you have luggage. There are about 8 steps to carry your luggage down from the upper levels to get to the elevators. Each garage floor is split into upper and lower levels. Loved our stay here!

The only problem I had was that the air conditioner was old and very noisy. In fairness, when I mentioned to the front desk, they offered to have someone look at it, but room was too crowded and I didn’t want someone coming in the room.

Absolutely fantastic experience, hotel is located in a great area with lots of nearby , walkable places for food and drink. Room was clean and all of the staff from front desk, security, to housekeeping were helpful, professional, and friendly. Would definitely stay here again!

25$ for the breakfast is a steal since it has nothing special. Paying this price for a regular buffet is very disappointing. If there were a person that cook your eggs as you like, i would understand but for a buffet that has nothing exceptionnal, come on!!! We paid the first day, but for the two others we went to The Whole food market which is less then a block away.
The Concierge was very helpful as he guided us correctly to where we wanted to go. And he was always smiling, so it started our days in a happy way.

It was awesome to be able to seamlessly check in and park at the hotel and go right from the parking garage into an elevator and up to my room. It was a beautiful hotel with amazing views of the city.

Room was clean and had everything we needed. Had an adequate view of the city. Location is near a few breakfast options if you opt out of the $30 breakfast buffet at the hotel. Within walking distance of Whole Foods, Walgreens/CVS, and Trader Joe’s. Staff and service were responsive and friendly. Would stay here again.
