Right across the street from airport, but quiet, clean, and nice! Staff was very polite. Breakfast was good for a free hotel breakfast bar.

Front desk service was not great. A bunch of kids who were not very social and acted like they rather be home. Room was nice and clean. Bath tub drained slow when taking a shower. Pool was nice but hot tub was not very clean and there were no towels when we went down after dinner

This hotel was good for our needs. We just needed the one night near Asheville Regional Airport. Could not take a bath in the bathtub. Seemed a bit dilapidated and the smell of pine cleaner was pretty heavy when we got into the room. Otherwise, it was comfortable and met our needs after a long day.

The curtains didn’t close and the light from the indoor pool shined bright into the room until 10pm. Also felt like people at the pool could see into the room. There were ants everywhere. The keys didn’t work very well to open the door and had to get help to open the door.

Chose this property because the reviews were good and it was a reasonable price point. Pictures must have been old because this place was DIRTY. Do not believe the pictures. The carpet was so filthy that you could see the tracks in it. There was moisture damage in the ceiling of the bathroom and no fan. The room had not been wiped down and the tub still had hair stuck on the wall. The bottoms of the doors to multiple room had bubbles from water damage. If we had not checked in so late I would asked for a refund and went somewhere else.

This property is fairly clean, but the carpets and fixtures are old and stained and need updating. High traffic due to the airport. The rooms are clean enough - don't look too close and you're fine. The pool area is very nice and breakfast is substantial.

Convenient location to the airport. Excellent breakfast. Cleaning could be improved. There were some stains on the walls and hair in the bathroom.

Beds were comfortable, breakfast was great, and it was quiet for the most part. My room was near the pool so it was slightly noisy for an hour or so at night, so I’d recommend asking for a room farther away from it.

If you are looking for a hotel that is walking distance from the airport and aren’t super picky then this could be a good choice. It’s about a 10 minute easy walk from the terminal. The common areas (like most Wingate) is tired and not especially well maintained. The first two rooms I was assigned had non working a/c, but the staff was good about taking care of me and the third room was pretty nice.

The only nice thing about this hotel is its proximity to the airport. We arrived to find our room leaking from the ceiling. After we moved to another room, we found the TV didn't work and after trying to troubleshoot ourselves, finally gave up and went to the front desk again. The person who helped us was silent, disgruntled and made us feel very uncomfortable for having issues that weren't our fault. I would 11/10 recommend not staying here.

Very clean rooms, hot tub and pool were great, good breakfast, and wonderful staff. If I had one complaint, it’s that we arrived late and had to park in the back, and the back parking lot lights were out. It was scary, but the whole place is pretty much safe. We survived 🙃 I’ll stay there again.

Hotel was dirty and had heavily stained carpets and bedding. The elevator wasn't in proper working condition.
The only positive was the location was convenient to the airport.

It was fine for a comfortable and cheap night. There were ants in the room. We stayed 1 night for $80 - found the ants int he morning. Front desk staff friendly and concerned with fixing the issue.

I was accommodated in room 305 but we politely requested a changed due to damp and clean condition of the room. The manager moved us to 319 but there we were constantly fighting ants coming from the back of the beds (both). Checked out the next day and they refused a refund due to “policy”. We are not trying to be difficult and did gave it a try but ultimately decided it was not worth it.

Really appreciated the hospitality during our worst travel nightmare with the airlines.
They gave us toothbrushes and it was a comfortable place to be during a difficult situation. The airport shuttle was great.

Noisy from the airport traffic over head and the interstate adjacent; cleanliness lacking, two towels had holes in them, fridge door sticky. Room door handle damaged. Would not stay here again.

Overall a decent hotel that is what you would expect for the money. However the cleaning staff needs to do a better job and be more attentive with the bathroom as my family found several pubic hairs and other hairs throughout the bathroom primarily stuck to the back of the bathroom door.

I was told at check in that I couldn’t get a shuttle until 4:45am. My flight was at 5:20am. I ordered a cab which cost me$35
I found out that morning that the shuttle was available at 4:30.
The female at the desk on checking was not friendly or helpful. She was dressed very casual and seemed more interested in her cell phone than on helping us.
Based on this experience I would not stay here again or would recommend this hotel

Room are comfortable, clean and modern. The only problem is the morning shuttle to the airport which gets booked with another hotel and seats are limited forcing you to go earlier than anticipated.

The staff here are inconsiderate, lacking empathy, rude and down right have no heart. Don’t be a local and try and find a safe place to stay should something be wrong with your home/family. I paid for a room and was denied check in, at 8pm at night with my two young toddlers, because I’m a local. Oh, and, trying to get a refund, FOR A ROOM I WAS DENIED, took numerous days, at least 5 phone calls, numerous managers. Don’t go here, find somewhere else.

I had a cancellation of an evening flight from AVL and chose this hotel due to walking distance. I was not expecting much but was very pleasantly surprised! Check in was quick and fine, room was very comfortable very clean with frig and microwave and lots of plugs! Very silent (I was on on side away from highway). I left too early for free breakfast but at 530 some pieces and coffee were already set that i could eat. They have shuttles but its only 6-8 minute walk (need to work for 100 yards on the access road but it was fine). Highly recommended.
