Lovely hotel & well worth staying at. Great views of the mountains from your balcony. Free transpor pass during your stay in Davos, plus the hotel run a free shuttle service to the main train station. Large & spacious rooms & good breakfast.

Great traditional Swiss hotel in a wonderful Davos location basically at the centre (Davos Platz) & with stellar views down the valley with mountains. Good breakfast in a nice dining room with views. Spa & massage services very good and reasonably priced for a hotel. Super clean. Only negatives I could mention: most of signage is in German not English. That includes included activities (but the staff happy to translate). There is no kettle or coffee making facilities in the rooms, but they happily supplied a water kettle and teacup. Minibar with water, apple juice and beer a nice touch.

Very friendly and welcoming staff, breakfast choice is great with a variety of options (including many Swiss cheeses :) ). There is a free shuttle bus which takes you to the train station but this distance is also walkable unless you have heavy cases/ its snowy or icy (uphill walk). Unable to comment much on the local area of the hotel as I spent my time in Klosters. There seemed to be various restaurant options close by

This is an excellent hotel. The staff is friendly and efficient so check-in was painless. They have a huge lobby with a circular bar and a nice lounge area with a piano player. They have a ski rental shop IN the hotel-big bonus! They also will drive you anywhere you need to go, including regular shuttles to the various ski areas. The views are amazing and the restaurant on the 2nd floor is just outstanding.

I received an upgrade upon arrival, and got into my beautiful, comfortable room. Before that I had been picked up by a courtesy hotel shuttle from the Davos Platz train station, that arrived on-time, whereas fellow travellers coming in with the same train were standing helplessly outside the station trying to get taxis or call their (less professional) hotels. There was a small welcome chocolate on my bed for my arrival, but actually they put new, other little treats on the bed every day after the cleaning. A nice little touch. There is a FREE minibar. Yes, free. It can't be too expensive for the hotel to just absorb the cost of whatever the guest takes and it sure is a nice extra amenity. I used the Spa on the day before my departure and had a relaxing time. After checking out, while I was still in town for my business conference, the hotel e-mailed me telling that I had forgot a couple of items in the room. I went back to get them later. The breakfast is amazing. Truly one of the best. I have been from North to South, East to West in the world, and in a way this has been possibly the best hotel experience ever, at least the best value for money hotel I have ever been to. 10/10!

A well positioned property offering a variety of services under one roof. Unfortunately for our kids the kino/cinema and a couple of arcade machines were unavailable but we enjoyed the pool & fitness room instead. A nice touch were the lobby card tables and fireplace beside a large bar. The bedrooms were a little too warm against the sub zero temps outside. A nice place.

Decent hotel. I chose an economy room so can't really complain that it was pretty basic. Good location and decent price. Shame you're not allowed to wear a swimming costume in the sauna!

Convenient shuttle to train, great breakfast, nice facilities. Wifi was fast. Pillows were uncomfortable.

I was there for the Hult Graduation ceremony and really enjoyed the comfort of the hotel.

Excellent breakfast and amenities. The rooms are simple but clean and comfortable. Good fitness center, and the hotel makes every effort to provide excellent services. A bit of a hike up the hill, but a very pleasant stay, and reasonable prices!

Hotel is quite nice and in an excellent location. Staff was helpful; in particular Simon at front desk. Food was very good. Rooms are very clean and comfortable but could use some updating.

Great place to stay for ski hol. in Davos. I had a single room which was small but comfortable. Staff invariably friendly and helpful and most spoke good English. Some nice touches such as heating for ski boots, free shuttles to/from lifts and station, free internet, pool, gym etc., mini-safe in room, and free 'mini-bar' with beer, water & soft drinks and turn down with sweet each night. I was on B&B and breakfasts were very good. I also tried a.l.c menu one night #good but same every night# and one night's half board dinner, which was superb. Good atmosphere around bar and lounge in evening, though most guests #and TV channels# were German speaking.

Good hotel with helpful and friendly staff - only slight critisism is that there was very little Hotel information in English (unlike other Sunstar hotels we have stayed in. Breakfast was very good however the menu for evening meals (both A la cart and table d'hote) were limited - though the quality was good on the evening we ate there

Was in Davos for scientific meeting. Hotel was very comfortable, breakfast was "too much" for my own good and hotel shuttles to ski areas were great. They have excellent ski room for your gear as well. Also, hotel is a very short work into center of Davos Plaz.

Our 'double' room was basically a twin single room with the beds pushed together,so you'll probably fall through the gap like we did. No sat TV, no seperate room temperature control meant it was too too hot. On the plus side - it was easy to get to, the staff were great, the food was delicious and it's right next to the mountain with lovely views from the balcony. Stay here - but get drunk enough not to care about the room.
